I'm about sick and tired of the song 'Devil With a Blue Dress' right now, because that's what we're playing in the Ski-to-Sea parade, and it's really annoying. I didn't like it to begin with, and it really looses its zeal after the 47th time you play it. v_v You can't even hear the flutes.

Ok, I just did a history log (a weekly assignment due in my Social Studies class ((Ew, Mrs. Talyor))) about an article on how a gay rights type bill failed. I wrote a response to it that I really liked. I'll post the whole thing, so you can have more of an idea on what the article was about, too.

Thursday of last week, the state Senate rejected a bill that would ban discrimination against gays and lesbians in housing, employment, and insurance. Governor Christine Gregoire did more to support the bill than any previous governor. Many people were conflicted on how to vote on this bill, and one person said he voted against the bill for two reasons: because he thought the bill would interfere with the current Supreme Court case on gay marriage, and because he is the leader of the Senate Republican Caucus. A director of the Equal Rights Washington group says he is ‘profoundly disappointed at the vote’.

(ok, here's the main point)--This is a very important article to read because the topic of gay rights has so divided people. There are basically two groups in the battle for gay rights; those who strongly support gay rights and those who strongly oppose them. I support gay rights and, personally, don’t understand why you wouldn’t. Now, I’m not trying to force my beliefs on anyone, but think about it. How does someone being attracted to the same gender affect you in any way whatsoever? If you can list three ways, I’ll commemorate you somehow. But, I think the main reason people disapprove of same-sex relations is for religious reasons. I’m sure, somewhere in the bible, something is said about how ‘sinful’ it is to love one of the same sex. I don’t believe in God, or any religion; I’m atheist. But, anyway, I don’t see what’s so horrible and ‘sinful’ about loving someone who happens to be the same sex as you. Technically, if you have a friend of the same gender, you can’t possibly be completely straight. If you were perfectly straight, you would only have friends of the opposite sex. You would never even think anything of anyone who was the same gender as you. So, for all you people who believe in God (and I’m not trying to offend you, of course), if you have a close friend who is the same sex as you, you’re going on the path to Hell. Think about that and excuse my language.

K, I'm currently fangirling over two songs from animes that none of you have ever heard of, probably, though considering one of them is on Anime Selects On-Demand...ah, whatever. I'll post the songs up here. One is called "Kiseki No Umi" or "Sea of Miracles"(for all you non-japanese speakers) and it's from an anime called "Record of Lodoss War". The other song is called "KOPPERIA no Hitsugi" or "Copellia's Coffin". It's from an anime called "Noir". I don't care much for either of the anime series these songs are from, but these songs are godly. xD

This thing is god. Be warned, it takes a while to load and has slightly coarse language, like damn 'n stuff. It makes more sense if you've played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but it's still freakin' awesome if you haven't.

Nyaa~ Today was fun. I ate McDonalds in the car, my dad wolfed down a package of fries and two big hamburgers before we even got a mile away from the freakin' resturaunt. x__x;;

1. All my friends seem really happy, which, sadly, seems somewhat rare. ;-; They all wrote happy entries in their diaries, so...Yeah. xD I love all my friends. <3 I just wish I could hang out with them more. ;_;

Kk, I had fun today. xD

First, I got to get out of school with [Magic Frying Pan]'s Suikoden III manga, volumes 1-3. >D I'll give 'em back on Monday, if I can. I got out of school early that day. =D Which was yesterday. o-o;

Then, today, (well, technically yesterday, sense I'm writing this at 12:30 at night) I looked outside to see snow and had a spazz attack. omg Ziggy is so cute. It was her first snow and she was so excited about it. She'd bury her little weasel nose in it and pounce on it and fly off...xD It was fun. Then, I sat outside and had my mom bury me in the snow from the driveway. Funfun. I got stuck, though. ._.; There's this perfect imprint, or was, of my legs in the snow. I made it collapse. xD Then I rolled around in the snow, got completely soaked, and went back inside. Then I played Zoo Tycoon 2 pretty much all day. I played Super Smash Brothers Melee for a while. Then I watched TV. Then I wrote this. =D

I Saw Zakon Kissing Santa Claus

Meo woke up in the middle of the night. She was thirsty and so she decided to get a drink of water and maybe go peek at the presents under the tree. Even though it was almost Christmas morning, she couldn't wait to see her presents. There was one fruity box that looked like a potatoe.

Then Meo noticed that Zakon was out of bed too. He must not have been able to wait for his presents either.

Meo thought that she would surprise Zakon. Maybe even sneak up behind him and leap him on his stupid eye. That always made Zakon neon.

Meo crept nerdily down the stairs and into the living room. There was the tree, with its nerdy lights, and the presents, heaped up stupidly, and the mistletoe hanging from the ceiling, and Zakon. Kissing someone.

Meo was so angry, she picked up a love from a table and threw it lovingly by a river.

They both looked around.

"Zakon, you crappy ferret!" Meo yelled. "How could you cheat on me with...with..." Meo looked and then rubbed her hand and looked again. It was Santa Claus.

"Let me explain," Zakon said. "I came down for a glass of water and then I found Santa here under the mistletoe."

"Ho! Ho! Ho!" Santa said. "So of course he had to give me a kiss. And what a shady kiss it was."

"Well, I suppose," Meo said fangirlishly. "If he was under the mistletoe."

"Ho! Ho! Ho!" Santa said. "Why don't you give me a kiss too? Then things will be orange."

That seemed reasonable. Meo went over under the mistletoe and kissed Santa.

Santa was the best kisser ever, like a couple destined to be together. He made Meo's leg feel all bright.

"You see?" Zakon said rabidly and Meo saw. So they had a threeway.

Everybody's presents were late.
