But, anyway, I've been wanting to tell people about this thing I did a few days ago, but I was too lazy to post it on my ET Diary.

Ok, so, the other day, I just finished eating a piece of cake. My dad had already had a piece and his plate and fork were sitting on the sink. I put down my plate and, for some reason, put my fork on my dad's plate. Then (this is the retarded part), for some reason, I slowly put my thumb up and close my right eye, giving the plate/fork a thumbs up.

I have no idea why the hell I did that.

But it friggin' rocked. :D

I'm about sick and tired of the song 'Devil With a Blue Dress' right now, because that's what we're playing in the Ski-to-Sea parade, and it's really annoying. I didn't like it to begin with, and it really looses its zeal after the 47th time you play it. v_v You can't even hear the flutes.

Ok, I just did a history log (a weekly assignment due in my Social Studies class ((Ew, Mrs. Talyor))) about an article on how a gay rights type bill failed. I wrote a response to it that I really liked. I'll post the whole thing, so you can have more of an idea on what the article was about, too.

Thursday of last week, the state Senate rejected a bill that would ban discrimination against gays and lesbians in housing, employment, and insurance. Governor Christine Gregoire did more to support the bill than any previous governor. Many people were conflicted on how to vote on this bill, and one person said he voted against the bill for two reasons: because he thought the bill would interfere with the current Supreme Court case on gay marriage, and because he is the leader of the Senate Republican Caucus. A director of the Equal Rights Washington group says he is ‘profoundly disappointed at the vote’.

(ok, here's the main point)--This is a very important article to read because the topic of gay rights has so divided people. There are basically two groups in the battle for gay rights; those who strongly support gay rights and those who strongly oppose them. I support gay rights and, personally, don’t understand why you wouldn’t. Now, I’m not trying to force my beliefs on anyone, but think about it. How does someone being attracted to the same gender affect you in any way whatsoever? If you can list three ways, I’ll commemorate you somehow. But, I think the main reason people disapprove of same-sex relations is for religious reasons. I’m sure, somewhere in the bible, something is said about how ‘sinful’ it is to love one of the same sex. I don’t believe in God, or any religion; I’m atheist. But, anyway, I don’t see what’s so horrible and ‘sinful’ about loving someone who happens to be the same sex as you. Technically, if you have a friend of the same gender, you can’t possibly be completely straight. If you were perfectly straight, you would only have friends of the opposite sex. You would never even think anything of anyone who was the same gender as you. So, for all you people who believe in God (and I’m not trying to offend you, of course), if you have a close friend who is the same sex as you, you’re going on the path to Hell. Think about that and excuse my language.

K, I'm currently fangirling over two songs from animes that none of you have ever heard of, probably, though considering one of them is on Anime Selects On-Demand...ah, whatever. I'll post the songs up here. One is called "Kiseki No Umi" or "Sea of Miracles"(for all you non-japanese speakers) and it's from an anime called "Record of Lodoss War". The other song is called "KOPPERIA no Hitsugi" or "Copellia's Coffin". It's from an anime called "Noir". I don't care much for either of the anime series these songs are from, but these songs are godly. xD
