What is the story behind your user name?:

When I was very little I would see little red and green spirit creatures in the woods. I called them Brimskis and began drawing pictures of them at a very early age. The Brimskis in the woods behind my house were my very first playmates. I feel that I owe them much of my creativity and passion to create. When I start a new painting it's the same feeling I would get when I would spot a Brimski in the woods. I cannot see them anymore but in some ways I think that painting is my grown-up way of looking.

What do you do for a living?:

I make stuff. I work as a freelance illustrator. I do album covers, children's book illustrations, concept art, and so on. I also make costumes and jewelry. Sometimes I land little dance gigs and get paid to frolic about.

What are your hobbies?:

I enjoy a good woodsy frolic. I also like hiking adventures, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, climbing trees, snowboarding, crystal hunting, waterfall swimming, dancing, and searching for vortexes.

How were the graphics/pictures in your house made?:

Mediums? Well I work mainly in watercolor and ink as far as painting goes. When making jewelry I like to take apart old stuff and reassemble it into something new. I also work with the things I find in nature like quartz crystals, acorns, pinecones, feathers, and stones.

Is there a particular thing you like about Elftown, such as a specific wiki?:

I really enjoy the featured art page.

What's the story behind your user name?

Its a play on Infinity Hypothesis. I thought I was being clever, but turns out most people think I made a typo. Oh well.

How old are you?

I am 28 years of age. I'm getting older, but so are you!

What do you do for a living?

I work in a doctor's surgery, on administration. 'The doctor will see you now'

What are your hobbies?

I like to keep fit when time allows, I love to run, run with my dog (Roxy) and make jewelery

What do you like most about fantasy: writing, images, reading etc?

I love that a simple picture, or a description can invoke a whole paragraph, or a whole story. It is fascinating to me how worlds are engineered by one person. It kind of makes me believe that artists & writers are like 'mini gods' creating and shaping a whole new universe

What's your name?

What's the story behind your user name?

~ Originally, my username was Aeolian. I am obsessed with names and the element wind, coincidentally I also have a fascination with vowels. Aeolian was a perfect combination of all three. Aeolian are the people that follow the wind god Aeolus, however over a few years I searched for a way to make it more feminine. One day while wandering around World of Warcraft I found a NPC named Aeolynn! It was perfect and I've never looked back.

What are your hobbies?

~ Games. :) Most common are World of Warcraft and Team Fortress II. If I'm not playing games I'm either drawing or roleplaying. I love raiding with my guild, people might think that's silly and a waste of time, but they don't know what they are missing! A lot goes into coordinating twenty-five players, keeping the tanks alive, beating the enrage timer of the boss, and getting shiny loot of course!

How did you end up on Elftown?

~ Elfwood actually. I saw a post on the main page about Elftown and I was intrigued. The community was great, even a few months into its creation.

What was the inspiration behind himmels and other fantasy races?

~ Himmels are my pet project. They are actually one species of many in one of my worlds known as Kazaa. Being a bird lover and owning several parrots in my life, they were the original inspiration for them. Another was the dragons of Deviant Art... But I wanted something original, something no one has really seen before. Hence the himmel was born. They are a sub species of Eastern Dragons and retain their ability to fly without wings. People often underestimate a parrot when they see one; they see the pretty colors, the odd behavior and their song and voice. Many people do not realize that a macaw, one of the most recognized parrots have the strength to bite off a finger, or break your wrist with their beaks. Himmels are the parrots of the dragon world.

What is it you do mostly on Elftown?

~ Roleplay and keep in touch with some of my friends. I also am using Elftown to document my dog's life, as well as find commissions and to store information about my roleplay characters.

Elftowners meet [Ghost the Hybrid]! An active and creative young artist amongst us who is behind Nintendo fandom and has a liking for the Rubik's cube. Have fun getting to know such a fun and quirky member with this interview!

What is your name?
My Full name is Maria Grill Wikell but I usually go by Yume or Fush here on Elftown.

What are your hobbies?
I like to read allot, but I also enjoy to play some video games. What most people don't realize about me is that I'm a bit of a Nintendo geek and that I love to play Pokémon games. I got a Rubik's cube and a Void cube and I really enjoys solving them, it's kinda relaxing at times. I also do Amigurumi which is a stuffed toys made by crochet.

How did you end up on Elftown?
That's a bit of a funny story. [Zab] actually showed me Elftown. Me and [Zab] went to the same school in the past and when we decided to study at different schools, we tried to find a way to stay in contact with each other. [Zab] found Elftown and made me join so we could stay in contact.

What do you like most about fantasy: writing, images, reading etc?
I like reading a good fantasy book that allows you to use your imagination on how everything looks like. One of my favourite fantasy books to this date is The never ending story by Michael Ende.

What made you want to start into origami?
When I studied English there was a story in our text book about a Japanese girl that had gotten sick in cancer and she heard about about the legend about the 1000 origami cranes. In the text book there was a description about how to fold cranes, the whole class tried but no one succeeded. A couple of years later I remembered about it and started to look around on the internet for a descriptions and eventually I was able to fold one.
