I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio and I am a freshamn in college. I am majoring in English and double minoring in history and education. I started seriously writing when I was sixteen, but haven't churned out anything I consider truly remarkable just yet. My favorite authors include (but are not limited to) Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, David Ambrose, J.R.R. Tolkein, J.K. Rowling, Edgar Allen Poe, and Flannery O'Connor. Poets: T.S. Eliot, Robert Browning, and Ogden Nash :D 

My other great passion is music! I generate a lot of my story ideas from the songs I listen to on a daily basis. I am a rock n' roll/indie chick all the way. I love classic rock such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and the Beatles. I'm also obsessed with the 90s grunge movement and adore Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc. Any indie rock (especially British and Canadian indie) is good indie. You can't go wrong with bands like the Wombats, Tokyo Police Club, and Bloc Party.
 
Oh, and I live in the suburbs and work in an Italian restaurant as a hostess (never a dull moment in the burbs of Cin City!)
