2nd entry of the day: Now that i have recapped in a very brief summary, I'll explain how my week went. 
  Wednesday and thursday, I auditioned in the neighboring town at the college (lake city community college) for their production of The Crucible, and was the only High school male student there. To my tremendous surprise and liking, i got the main lead role in the play, and beat out college students, college graduates, and even my drama teacher/director for the lead role. Im excited.
  On top of that, it mustve been thursday, or friday i recieved featured artist of the day...very, very cool. Plus, homework and studying is paying off, which i have never done before. i think i might stick with this studying thing...and doing homework does improve your grades...how bout that...

alright so heres the deal. I had a good summer, met some really cool people, did a little bit of surfing, skim board, played a lot of music, did a lot of drawing. I got to play in the studio with some really good musicians, most of em had been playing for 20-30 yrs...longer than i have been alive, thats for sure. School started, my life and fun ended, I am taking Spanish, chemistry 1, art 2-d compIII, algebra 2 honors, american history honors, and english 3 honors, and my honor teachers are infamous for making sure their students dont have to learn anything in college after getting out of their class...the call it preparation, i call it stress and hours of HW.

Ok...first entree, My name is Justin Ortega, I am almost 16 (3 more days). I am Italian/Irish, with Im sure some other ethnic backrounds, but why do you care so much, frickin racist...Anyway, I have been known to be a bit goofy, with a somewhat bizarre sense of humor, which mostly consists of sarcasm, so bare with me and take me seriously if i do not come across funny to you. so...I just got back from sleeping, but before sleeping, i went to graduation at 9 in the morning (im not the biggest morning person) then hit up the local dairy queen with my friend 'Kush' who graduated. Yesterday was my last day of school, and i celebrated at a friends house, who had a pool party, her name is jessica, my girlfriend kristen was there, along with a long-time friend jeff. Well, after the party, we took kristen home, and i spent the night at jeffs. At jeffs, we played tekken 3, and dark alliance (baldurs gate...forgotten realms...dungeons & dragons...oh christ, if you havent caught on by now, go catch a flying baseball bat with your teeth) and well, it was cool. we woke up late, picked kristen up again, and went to graduation, and afterwards, hit up the local dairy queen with my friend 'Kush' who graduated. I swear live oak sucks, it seems as if each day is repeatitive, as are the people. well, i think im at my grandparents the rest of today and tomorrow, doing nothing because my mother is in chicago, and she was worried that i would throw a party...funny thing is i had no intention until yesterday, at wal-mart my friend thomas (who works there) asked me if i knew of a place that was parent-free...i offered, but he said he wouldnt feel right if i wasnt there...oh well). Anyway, thats all for today. later
