12 Nov - Day 6. Katwijk

There's nothing like a trip to the seaside. So we decided to drive west until the coast, enjoying the countryside in between. I really wanted to see the dikes, and all those things that allowed Holland to be under the sea level without being flooded. Eventually we decided to travel to a village that didn't have dikes, but it was very nice looking all the same. On the way, we passed quite a few windmills and also a little town with a nice church.

A bit of nature, and next to it, my host, [LegendofJelda], caught by surprise by a nasty professional tourist (me) when he was thinking of posing for the camera.

Then we drove even more east, and ended up in katwijk. At this time of the year, the sun sets rather early, so we could enjoy it while walking on the beach and gathering a few shells.
