8/11 - Day 2. Orléans - Antwerpen (Anvers)
I haven't lept that well because of my allergies. I explain. I'm allergic to something in my parent's house, but I don't know what. When I'm there, I suffer from allergy symptoms, I sneeze, my nose run, my eyes cry and so on... Very annoying. I have to take medecines to feel better. But the thing is, the allergies take a few days to clear once I've left home. Meaning I had a bad night, and I woke up quite late. After finishing packing again, it was time to leave. I drove north again, around Paris, towards Lille.
What a flat country!! ^_^
I stopped once out of the motorway to take a picture of a nice funny looking church. Then I entered Belgium, and drove on the motorway until Gent, where I spent some time driving around and looking for a gas station.
Fresnes-lès-Montauban's church
Gent is a very nice looking town, shame I didn't take the time to stop and take pictures. The cathedral looks gorgeous, and the town center has quite a lot of stone buildings. If I can, I'll try to stop back there at the end of my trip.
After eventually founding a gas station with an affordable price (Cowardly, I spoke in English, obviously not ready yet to make a fool of myself by trying to speak dutch), I drove east until Antwerpen (Anvers) where I stopped for the night.
Tomorrow I'll try and go shopping, and visit a bit Antwerpen, as I've been told it was even better than Gent. We'll see ^_^
