Aj'ale entered and looked around self-contentedly. He then walked up to the referee and said: "We'll be having a classic one-on-one fight here."

Reinhard strolls into the arena and notices right away he was suckered into a disadvantaged fight. But none the less, he would see it to the end. "Lets get this over with." he said to the newly met Aj'ale, looking all high and mighty.

Battle has started!

Aj'ale (F18)

Reinhard's turn

Reinhard not sure what to expect from this fight, moved to (F12). Hoping to get a better grip of the situation.

The Skarradian Arena looked fairly much the same from Reinhard's new angle.

Aj'ale's turn

Aj'ale was amused and took a step to F18. Then he casted Curse twice, trying to bring the human's constitution down.

From Aj'ale's hands shot out two wispy black streaks of lightning, almost unseeable, and making no sound. The two curses hit Reinhard shortly after eachother, but Reinhard felt a great vitalising power rising from within himself, and managed to resist both spells!

Reinhard's turn
Interested by the attack made Reinhard decides its now or never and moves to (F16). Hoping next round to make things more interesting.

Aj'ale's turn
"Well, aren't you sturdy." Aj'ale just took a step to F17, mumbled something and waved his hand hypnotically before poking at Reinhard and casting Oblivion.

Aj'ale laid poked Reinhard's chest, and immediatly Reinhard felt a white haze entering his head. As the white haze was taking over, he once again felt that surge of vitalising energy, and with that he was able to push back the white haze. Aj'ale's Oblivion spell had failed, and worse yet: put him within striking distance of the knight!

Reinhard's turn
Ready to end this battle Reinhard smiles at Aj'ale and gathers his Heroic Strength, Reinhard then swings as hard as he can, in attempt to take Aj'ale down.

Nearly snarling as his last spell-resort failed, Aj'ale couldn't help but try to block the incoming strike.

Aj'ale raised his pick above his head, a seemingly feeble defence against Reinhard's longsword, especially with his Heroic Strength to back it up. But miraculously Aj'ale managed to pull away the blade, and deflect it to the side! The sword almost chopped into the dirt, but Reinhard restrained himself, and succeeded in not blunting his blade on the hard Skarradian rock.

Aj'ale's turn

After his successful show of sudden defense, Aj'ale was a little out of options, but decided to use his last option available and tried to Cause fear in Reinhard by screaming at him before whacking him with the pick.

Reinhard feeling lucky, decides to stand up to Aj'ales dirty tricks.

Reinhard braced himself, but nothing could have prepared him for Aj'ale's great scream. It sounded absolutly dreadful, and only his knightly high morale enabled him to stay focused and not lose himself in a mindless panic attack. But although Aj'ale's intention to cause fear in the knight didn't work, it provided him with the opening he needed to lodge his pick in Reinhard's shoulder joint, causing 6 damage!

Reinhard's turn
Reinhard with fire in his eyes, Glaring at the Dah'kin he swings his sword with everything he has, hoping to stop Aj'ale or severely wound him.

Severely annoyed that he didn't manage to properly frighten the human, Aj'ale had enjoyed the momentary sight of terror. He then proceeded to block the incoming strike.

Aj'ale remembered his success the earlier attack, and held the pick in pretty much the same position. Reinhard however, had anticipated this defence, and let his blade come down at a slightly different angle, bashing through Aj'ale's block, and making a large cut over the Dah'kin's chest and belly! Aj'ale recieved 7 damage!

Aj'ale's turn

Looking strangely unmoved by the hit since he pretty much liked the pain, Aj'ale merely returned the blow, striking at the human's neck with his pick.

Waiting for the chance of breaking Aj'ale's weapon, Reinhard braced himself and tried to deflect the pick with his sword. (Defensive Stance)

Reinhard braced himself, becoming almost a human tank, and easily deflected Aj'ale's pick off his shield.

Reinhard's turn
Willing to end this fight sooner than later, Reinhard swings his sword with the hope of ending it all.

Aj'ale again tried to block the strike with his pick, not really caring how unadvantaged he was in this fight.

Reinhard thought the Dah'kin in front of him actually felt like losing! Aj'ale's lazy defence was no match for Reinhard's technique, and the Knight dealt an overwhelming 16 points of damage as he nearly severed Aj'ale's head off his rump!

Battle has ended!
Reinhard recieves 350 XP!
Reinhard gains a level!

"Well fought, sir Knight." Referee Roberto commented, as he closed in on the Lochmorian. "It is your right as victor to loot one of the victim's items and half his gold. Make your pick."

"I will take his robe. Let him walk around naked." Reinhard said with a smile.

"Er, you can do that yourself, I'm not stripping down a Dah'kin for you..." Roberto replied. "Unless it had been a non-lethal version of Aura." He grinned.

Reinhard took the Black Robe of Aj'ale, and recieved 12 GP.

"Alright, I'm taking the poor bastard to the Temple now." Roberto said. "If you want to get healed, you should do the same."
The referee picked up Aj'ale's dead body, and left for the temple.
