Appearance: Alastor is tall and fit, standing 7'8" tall, laced with long, lean muscles. He has broad shoulders and a powerful frame. His body is covered with fine, snow white fur. His eyes are a clear, crystal blue that reflects light with a sagely grace. On both of his shoulder blades, his fur is dyed black in matching tribal designs. His mane is long and wraps around his head, hanging down to his chest. There are several small braids tied into his mane, each ending with a small silver bead. His snout is pronounced and very feline with a black nose at the tip. He has a long scar that runs vertical over his left eye. He leaves his upper half generally left uncovered, revealing his muscular torso. His lower half is covered in a honey-treated leather war-skirt trimmed with sky blue fabric and decorated with strands of leather trimmed with small animal bones and pieces of wood. When in beast form, Alastor is a large and powerfully built white lion. He retains his scar, tattoos and braids in lion form, as well as keeps the leather necklace around his neck, strung with one of his father's teeth, that he also wears in Hybrid form.

History: Alastor was a young cub on the plains of Panthera. His family headed up a largely nomadic hunting tribe of other shapeshifters, largely Lions, Tigers, and some Wolves. Being the only White lions that any in the pride had ever seen, Alastor's family held the place of honor among the tribe. Alastor's mother was also a well known Green Mage, often casting protections on the warrior-hunters of the tribe before hunting missions. Alastor grew up with a priviledged life, only son to the tribe's chief. Alastor, when young, was always very pompous, thinking himself better than all the other youths. In truth, Alastor was a decent hunter, even at a young age, but no much better, if any at all than the other youths. Late one night, while most of the tribe was sleeping, two of the wolves snuck into the tent of Alastor's parents, slaying them each with a silent knife to their hearts. In the morning, when Alastor arouse, he walked into his parent's tent to find them dead. Alastor was grief stricken, though when he knelt down to h mother's side, the residual Green magic that laid dormant in her body released and sunk into her son. Feeling the surge, Alastor ran from the tent, grabbing his father's signature spear on the way out and ran. The two wolf thugs that killed his parents gave chase to Alastor, eventually catching up to him on the open plains. Alastor struck out with the spear, quickly felling one of them. The other lashed forth with his dagger, catching Alastor across his closed left eye, leaving the scar that he still bears. With another quick turn of the spear, the other thug was brought down, and Alastor turned, continuing his run across the plain, to a main city. Upon stumbling into the city, Alastor was found by a young human soldier that was standing guard at the gate. The man helped Alastor back to the Barracks, where medics treated to his wounds. Alastor, bound with thankfulness for the medics, pledged to training at the city, serving as part of the city guard for a while. Though working as a City guard, Alastor shunned the weapons of the city guard, staying with his father's spear. After 4 years of working as a guardsman, Alastor resigned, for reason of wanderlust, striking out for new adventures.

Weapons/possessions: Alastor carries his Father's spear as his only weapon, and carries a number of restorative herbs. He is a trained Green Mage as well, so he doesn't wear armor, prefering to use the armor of his spirit to protect him and his allies.
