Basic Art Work
This is the work that I completed in my first high school year of art classes, including
'Introduction to Art Principles' and
'Contemporary and Traditional Crafts.'
Untitled - Mola (paper relief)
Paper relief (removed section of layers of paper) - seven layers.
'Murray Rose - Olympic Medalist'
Oil Pastel, 12x18"
'An Aeon Key'
Graphite Sketch, 2x6"
'Impy the drake'
Graphite Sketch (fantasy), 8.5x11"
'Bug-Stepping'
Graphite Sketch, 8.5x11"
The gargantuan bug is stepping on humans, crying, "Yech! Humans are SOOOoo disgusting! Die! DIE!"
I think the irony is well depicted.
Untitled
Graphite and colored pencils, 8.5x11"
A typographical design which states the name 'Draven
11'.
'eternal' rough original design
Graphite Sketch, 8.5x11"
This was a rough draft I did for a Graphite study with a focus on surrealism. The final draft was destroyed in a basement flooding.
'Piggy plural'
Ball point pen, 8.5x11"
A single object, studied from different angles. Focus on repeated objects as motifs.
'she-demons'
Ball point pen, 8.5x11"
A study in lateral symmetrical design.
'Under the Bed'
Graphite Sketch, 8.5x11"
The sketchbook assignment, entitled simply, 'Under the bed,' lends much to the creativity of sheer imagination. The text reads, "What's under YOUR bed?"
