Chapter 3: Tokusen Reunion

   They had to travle to a remote spot in the forest before they could enter the Mystic Meadow. Rika had changed into her fighting uniform. Karina wore a black tub top with brown pants and brown boots.
  Karina and Rika led with Yusuke right behind them and Kuwabara next to him. Then Kurama was behind those two with Aurora and Karisuto trotting around next to him. Then Hiei was last. They were walking uphill at the moment.
   "Karina, do you know what Myou has been up to?" Rika asked. Karina looked at her with a sly grin, "Ah, I see. You still like him, don't you?" She teased. "That was a LOOOONG time ago! Besides, I have a boyfriend." Rika blushed a little. Karina blinked, "OH! Yeah, right....Hiei." "I never liked Myou anyway!" Rika fummed. "Fine! Fine, just calm down." Karina smiled. Then Karina suddenly started running as soon as she saw the top of the hill. The others folowed quickly, Hiei managing to catch up with Rika. "This is it!" Karina beamed. "Where?" Yusuke asked. "I don't see anyithng." Kuwabara said as he looked around. Then Karina ripped her claw through the air, and opened a portal, "Here." She said. "Oh..." most of the others said in unison. By this time it was twilight as they entered the portal.

 Meanwhile, in the meadow, a small group of four people had been waiting. A dark, tall figer was leaning against a tree in the shadows. Two boys, one tall, one short, were by the house. Then a girl was leaning against the cabin. "It figers that she'd be late." the tall boy said in agravation. That's when a portal opened a few feet from them. Rika was first to walk out, then Karina and the two foxes. Then the rest of the team walked out. Rika staired at the tall boy. He had silver spiked hair with bangs, red eyes, and fangs. He wore a white marshil arts shirt with red triming and white pants and red trim. Then white shoes. "It's about time you got here!" the boy said. "I see Master is not yet here, Takeshi." Rika glared. "True, but as usual, YOUR always LATE!" Takeshi said. Rika turned her head. "What's the matter? Can't stand up to someone stronger then you?.....No......I get it.....I remeber. You said you'd be stronger by now. You said you'd take my place...But no...you'r still in the same place as you were before. So...what do you have to say for yourself?" Takeshi looked at her with an evil grin and his arms crossed over his chest. Then he walked up to her, "Well?"
  Yusuke, Kuwabara, Karina, Aurora, Karisuto, Kurama, and Hiei had walked off to the side. "So...how bad is this guy?" Kuwabara asked. "Real bad. I'm not saying he's pure evil, but he's got a bad temper, and he's cocky." Karina said. "I never did like Takeshi." "Yeah, same here." Karisuto and Aurora agreed. "Who's that boy over there?" Yusuke pointed to the smaller boy who had moved away from Rika and Takeshi. He wore a similer outfit as Takeshi. A white, long sleeved shrit but with blue trim and white pants with blue trim. His pants were cut short at his ankles and red bandages wrapped around them to his white shoes. Around his hands were red bandages also, cutting off at his fingers. His hair was white and spiked, and he had deep blue, soft eyes. Two horns stuck out of his head and he had fangs. "Him? Oh that's Nishiki. He's the youngest of everyone. That's why he's classified as the last letter. He's really sweet though, and adorable." Karina answered. "BEG!" They heard Takeshi yell, "Come-on! Get on your hands and knees and beg for mercie!" Takeshi yelled. Rika turned her head and tried to ignore him, though it was hard to. That's when she felt the wind was knocked put of her when Takeshi punched her in the stomach. He hd hit her bandages where her wound was still healing.

Rika fell to her knees with her arms wrapped around her stomach. Hiei had to be restrained by Kurama and Yusuke so he wouldn't go after Takeshi, although Yusuke, Kurama, and Kuwabara felt like going a few rounds with him after that. The tall figer in the shadows took notice of Takeshi's actions, but remained where he was.
  Then Takeshi placed his foot on Rika's head which pushed her down more, but only a little, "Beg, Rika. You DID swear you'd be stronger. I don't see any strength in YOU. Your just a weak little girl, like you always were." "Alright, that's it! He's going down!!" Kuwabara was just about to charge him when he saw someone grab Takeshi on his shoulder, "That's enough, Takeshi. Don't be rude." The gental voice of a man said. He was the man who had been in the shadows. He had short black hair with a dark purple shine to it and with bangs. Deep colored eyes, like navy blue or dark purple. The man wore a baggy black jacket and a baggy black T-shirt. His pants were dark purple, nearly black as well. He was rather hansome.
Takeshi took his foot off of Rika's head and he knocked off the man's hand as he turned to face him. "Myou..." the name escaped Rika's lips in a whisper. "What the hell do you wany, Myou!? Your always interfearing!" Takeshi glared at Myou. "Maybe if you were nicer to your equils, I wouldn't." Myou said. "EQUIL! She's no where near being equil to me!! I'm the stronger one!!" Takeshi argued. "Do you forget that I am much more powerful then you?" Myou said. Takeshi's eye twitched in anger, "I'LL SHOW YOU!!" He threw a punch a at Myou, but he dodged slightly to the side and kicked Takeshi out of the way. Takeshi was able to sustain his balance, but charged Kyou again. Then Myou raised both of his hands slightly above his forehead in an 'X' pattern with his fingers spread and palms facing out. A purple ball of light formed in his hands then shot out as a purple beam of energy at Takeshi, "Phoenix Beam!!" Myou yelled out as he devistated Takeshi with his attack. Takeshi was blown back into the air by Myou's attack and then he plumeted to the ground as the beam dissapeared into the distance. Hitting the Earth hard, Takeshi had a tough time standing.
 Rika tried to stand on her own, but her stomach hurt too much. That's when she saw a hand reach out from in front of her. Looking up, she saw Myou reaching down to her. She blinked for a moment, but then took his hand he he helped her up. Rika blushed a little and staired at him, "I, um..." Myou smiled and tilted his head to the side, "Are you alright?" "Yeah, fine..." Rika staggered over her words almost. Takeshi was still on the ground, but managed to say, "Why do you protect her anyway!? She's weak!!" "I protect everyone because I care for their life. You mearly harrase them because they aren't as strong as you. For that, I do not protect you or have any intention of doing that sort. Nor do I value your life." Myou staired him down. Takeshi decided to back off now. Then Nishiki walked up to Rika, "Hello Rika. It's nice to seee you again." he said in a cute young boys voice. Rika slightly samiled, "It's...good to see you too, Nishiki." Then he put his hand over her stomach and his hand began to glow. When he stopped Rika no longer felt pain, "Thanks." she said and Nishiki smiled. The small boy was only about as high as her stomach and looked fairly young. His big round eyes second that thought.
 Kuwabara's eye twitched, "Is she...smiling!?" "Nishiki can always make the stifest person smile. At least a member of the Tokusen. He's so adorable it's hard to resist." Karina looked over to him and smiled herself. Kuwabara and Yusuke still staired at Rika, bleakly. That's when the girl, who was standing on the side, walked up to Takeshi and stood over him(not literally) with her hands on her hips, "I swear, Takeshi, you just as pethetic as ever." "SHUT UP!" he yelled.
   The girl wore a top similer to Rika's but with a gold chain and buckle on the strap. Then she wore a black mini skirt with a belt that had a white buckle and black knee-high high-heeled boots. She had blound hair that was tied up into two buns and the girl also had bangs. Though she didn't look much like Rika at all. Her eyes were purple and narrow, and she wore blue eye shadow. The blound girl also wore two silver bangle bracelets on her right wrist and she wore a necklace with a blue gem on it.
   "KOKORO!" Karina shouted as she ran up to the girl and hugged her. Kokoro just laughed. "It's so good to see you again." Karina laughed then looked down to Takeshi, "Oh...hi..." she said to him as though she didn't care. "Kokoro, what have you been up to all these years?" Karina asked as she broke away. "Ah a little bit of this and that......Well, I've mostly been exploring the Living, Spirit, and Demon world. I tend to do a bit of bartering and trading." Kokoro answered. "Really!? Me and Rika do something like that...." Karina snickered. "Oh really, what?" Kokoro staired, curious. "Jewel thief." Rika said as she came up to the two. "Both of us." Karina nodded. "Interesting, you must show me what you have." Kokoro said, then looked to the side, as though sceaming. Karina sighed, "Yes of course, you can have any spare gems to go on your little bartering trips. Me and Rika would be happy to help." Karina offered. Rika went into confused chibi mode, "We will?" Karina ignored her. Then Nishiki came over and Takeshi stood up finally. Takeshi kept to the side as Nishiki walked up to the girls. Karina bent down a little, "Hi Nishiki." she gave him a big hug. "Hello Karina, you look prettier then the last time I saw you." Nishiki said. "Awww! Your so cute!" Karina hugged him again. When Karina was done, Nishiki turned to Kokoro. Before he could say anything, "So, Nishiki, what have you been doing?" Kokoro asked. The small boy smiled and said egerly, "I've been practicing with Master! Though in my free time I've been studying the human world." Rika looked to the side slightly with a peaceful look on her face, though she said nothing. Then she gasped secreatly as she saw Myou. He had picked up something off the ground. A necklace, and he held it in his hand as he studied it. Then he held it by the chain so the pendant swung back and forth. Rika gasped again and touched her neck. She realized that her necklace was gone. Myou looked over to her and smiled.
  Hiei, Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Kurama had been standing at a distance. Hiei, of course, didn't look happy. He was sitting on top of the cabin. Kuwabara was sitting on the ground with his arms folded over his chest and Yusuke was standing next to him. Kurama was a little further over to the side, leaning against the cabin. Hiei peered over to where Rika was. He saw she was talking to Myou and he handed her the necklace. She smiled slightly and put it back on. Then she looked up to Hiei and smiled. Hiei blushed and quickly turned away in embaresment. Rika shook her head with a smirk and walked back over to Kokoro, Karina, Nishiki, and Takeshi. Myou followed her over. "So Takeshi, what have you been doing since we last saw each other?" Karina asked. Takeshi gritted through his teeth, "What's it to ya?" "Oh relaxe. Where here to get reaquanted, just spill it Mr. Stiff." Kokoro taunted. "I don't have a set...thing like you do. I do what I feel. Battle, steal, wander..." Takeshi glared with one eye open. Though he seemed to be easing up. Then Karina noticed Myou, "Myou! What have you been up to?" "I like to wander from place to place and help people or demons." "Awww, that sounds nice!" Karina said. While everyone was talking, Rika noticed Hiei didn't look happy AT ALL. She frowned and looked up at him wistfully. That's when Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Kurama walked up to the Tokusen group and began to chat with them. Rika took that oppertunity and jumped up to the roof and sat next to Hiei. He almost turned around, but didn't, wich left Rika a tad annoiedbut she refused to show any emotion. "Hiei.." Rika said and waited, but Hiei didn't answere. "Hiei?..........HIEI! What's wroung!?" Rika managed to get him to look at her at lest. "Nothing...." Hiei pouted in agrovation. Rika frowned and glared a little, "Oh please! Do you really think I'll belive that!?" Hiei looked a little more angry, "And I thought you wouldn't give into anyone who'd pick a fight with you!" Hiei looked at her with a slight glare. "What's that supposed to mean!?!" Rika yelled. "What do you think! You let that pathetic excuse for a demon knock you down so easily!! Why didn't you fight back!?!" Hiei yelled back. Now Rika was so angry that her sapphira eyes were now crimson, "LISTEN YOU!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS ABOUT!!! So just stay out of it and mind your own buisness!!! You got me!?!?!" She had jumped to her feet and was yelling so loud that it caught the others attention, especially Hiei's. He staired, wide-eyed, at her and with shock and suprise on his face. Then Rika went a little wide-eyed realizing wat she had just done and stood up straight, looking arouind and down to the others as well. Before she could say anything, all the members of the Tokusen looked in the same direction to a clump of trees and the woodland area a few feet away. Then Rika jumped down from the roof as the rest of the Tokusen, and Rika, knelt down on the ground about 5 to 10 feet from the cherry blossom woods. Then were knelt to form what looked like a U with each member spread away from each other. The others(Team Urameshi) were confused as they bleakly staired. That's when an Old man dressed in blue robes, that had gold designs, and was holding a staff walked out from the hidden cover of the shadowing trees.
