Yuuki walked into the kitchen, "For a genious, he's not very bright..." She wore a priestis out fit. A white, baggy top. Red baggy pants, and sox.
The kitchen was pretty small with white and tan-yellow tiles on the floor. The walls were painted white. The kitchen looked more like a mini hall because if you went straight, it lead you to the outside door. On the right side of the kitchen was the stove and a shelf with spices on it. To the right and by the door was the refridgerator. Then by the kitchen entrance, the wall caved out to the left where the table and a few charis and some cabinets sat.
"Oh, he just wants to see that cute little girl he likes at school. You know..." Yuuki's mom paused. "You mean Akino Hoshino...Mom, they've been friends since kindergarden. Just FRIENDS, Kyto doesn't like her like that." Yuuki pointed out. "Oh I know, but wouldn't they make the cuttest couple?' Her mom smiled. Yuuki looked on with a sweat drop.
Kyto walked down the street, hair covering one of his eyes and he gazed up at the sky between the leaves from the trees.
"Maybe I shouldn't go to school today....It's a full moon tonight....*sigh* that means there will be twice as many demons today and tonight then there usually would be. Looks like I'm pulling a double shift..." he thought to himself. "KYYYYTOOOO!" A voice shouted from behind. He stopped but didn't look back. "KYTO!" It said again, and he looked back this time. "OH! HEY AKINO!!" He yelled to a girl who was running up to him. She had blound, layered hair and wore a school uniform. She had light blue eyes also. She ran up to him, "Kyto, You'll never guess what happened." She said, as though excited. Kyto sighed, "Ok, Akino, what is it this time?" "Well, my father was FINALLY able to solve that graveyard case, but besides that, I heard that Buritani and Erika got into a fight over Kairu. Apparently, Buritani, who's Kairu's girlfriend, caught Erika flurting with him and they met on the roof of the school when school was closed. Well it started out as arguing over who should get him, but escellated into a brutle fight. Buritani has a black eye, and Erika has two missing teeth. Both of them are suspened for a few weeks." Akino said quickly. "Uhhhh...." Kyto was lost. Suddenly the school bell rang in the distance. They both looked back, "OH KNOW! I'm late!!" They both shouted at the same time and ran off toward the school.
Kyto arrived late to his school, quietly he opened the door a crack to his classroom, and peeked in. He saw the teacher wasn't paying attention, Kyto slyly crept to his seat and sat down with a small 'phew'. "Thank you for joining us Mr. Kaida." The teacher said and scared Kyto to the point where he almost jumped out of his seat. "S-Sorry, I overslept..." Kyto said. "Hmm...you seem to be doing alot of over sleeping now-a-days." The teacher turned. "Sorry sir..." Kyto said. The teacher glared for a moment over his shoulder before turning back to the board. Kyto sighed in relife that he wasn't punished in anyway.
As the day went on into the afternoon hours, Kyto staired out the window,
"I guess today's a slow day. There haven't been any attacks nearby....I hope Yuuki's holding up ok though." He thought. "Mr. Kaida!" The teacher shouted and got his attention as Kyto looked at him, "Solve the equation on the board." the teacher finished. Kyto stood and looked at the long equation for a moment, "6 to the second power multiplied by

x divided by pie, minos each sum by five. Then multiple
y and
x and the answered should be
x, y = 62" Kyto explained. The teachers eye twitched in annoyance, "That's correct." Kyto slightly smiled, sat down, and looked back out the window.
Meanwhile, Yuuki, back at the house, was in the backyard. Apparently fighting demons. "KUUYYYYYYYAAA
AAAA!!!!!!!" She shouted as she drop kicked a demon and it disapated into thin air. She did a mid air spin kick on another and delivered a hard punch on yet another. "Why do I always get demons when Kyto isn't home?!" she questioned as she kick another akki(demon). Then she stopped and raised her arm straight up into the air, "Staff of Ages! Solar Staff!!!" she yelled and a long staff apeared above her. It was long and blue. It had a curved blade at the top of it and a sun next to and on part of the blade. Then she charged the army and began to attack them with the staff, "HAAAAAAA!!"
Kyto bit into his sandwich and chewed a only few times before swolloing. "Kyto! Don't inhail your food like some dog!!" Akino scolded. "Sorry, but I'm hungry. These late few nights have been tough. I've been hungry having to skip dinner." Kyto said. "Oooooh, you mean because of your, 'studies'?" Akino said suspiciously with a grin. Kyto looked at her with a sweat drop, "Uh..yeah." "OH COME ON, KYTO! You and I both know that's not what it is! Just tell me, PLEASE!!! I promise I won't tell." Akino got all chibi eyed. "Please, you couldn't keep secreat even if your life depended on it. " Kyto said. "So you aaaaar0e hiding something." Akino got right up in his face. "Uh..no, not at all....." Kyto looked innocent. "Riiiiiight." Akino sat down again, then she bit into her sandwich.
Later that day, back at class....Kyto yawned, quite loudly though. "MR. KAIDA!!" the teacher yelled and spooked Kyto, "Y-yes?" "Do I seem boring to you?" the teacher questioned."N-No sir, I-I'm just a tad sleepy." Kyto said. "Mr. Kaida, you've been getting on my last nerve, if you act up one more time im class then I'm going to have to issue a parent-teacher comfer-HEY! ARE YOU LISTENING!?" Kyto wasn't paying attention to the teacher. He was looking out the window. Smoke was rising from an exploation in the city. "Sorry, I got to go!!" Kyto yelled as he jumped out of his seat and burst out of the room. "MR. KAIDA! GET BACK HERE!" The teacher called out to him, but to no use.
Akino had also seen the exploation from her class room and raised her hand. "Now this problem you have to-Uh, yes Miss. Hoshino?" the teacher questioned. "Um, may I be excused, I'm not feeling so well, Mrs. Yumara..." "Well I guess so.." the teacher said and Akino left before you could say 'ok'.
Kyto bolted down the street as fast as he could in the direction of the exploation, "These demons are getting bolder. Attacking the city now." he thought. Then he stopped, seeing a ton of demons in his path and where the exploation happened. "Looks like I'll be busy today." He thought, getting into a fighting position. Then he ran into the crowd and began to kick and ounch the demons until they dissapeared one at a time. After a few minutes, he raised his hand into the air, "STAFF OF AGES! SOLA-" he didn't feel the power plusation in him when summoning the staff, "Oh, no! Yuuki must have it!!" he thought, but in his destraction, a demon came up and hit him hard into the bushes. After a moment he poped up, rubbing his head, "Ok I've had enough." He jumped out of the bushes and back ontp the street. Then he thrust his hands in front of him, then slowly drew them back and to his right side. A ball of energy formed in his hands and then he thrust his hands toward the demonic crowd and the energy exploded at the army, disinigrated all the demons. Kyto panted and lowered his hands, just in time for Akino ran up to him. She bent down, panting hard, "What....happened?" she asked, trying to catch her breath. "Uh....gas leak." Kyto said. "A *huff,huff* gass leak?" "Yeah, at the gas station. Car exploaded." Kyto said, trying to cover up the demo inncodent. "Oh..." Akino said, finally catching her breath and with a dumb look on her face. "Sooo...what happened to your cheek?" Akino pointed to his swollen cheek. "Oh, this? I...tripped on the way here..." Kyto answered, covering up now for the demon hitting him. "Oh...." Akino turned, "Well, then shall we be getting back to class?.........Kyto?....Kyto?" she looked over her shoulder, but he was gone. Syrens began to go off in the backround.
