Comic Book and Superhero fans alike have always been plagued by one question:

MARVEL or DC?

What real fan can truly answer that question? When both companies are respected for creating such distinguished characters. DC’s Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman stand alone as the worlds greatest heroes. While at the same time MARVEL’s Spider-Man, Wolverine and Daredevil deal with the dirt and grime of city streets.

The truth is is that the question is unanswerable. So what is a Comic Book fan supposed to do? Here we offer a role-playing space where you can choose to be any hero you want to be. From DC, MARVEL, DARK HORSE, IMAGE, TOP COW or any other distinguishable or indistinguishable comic franchise out there.

We also allow original characters you may currently have or can think up. As long as they come from a known comic background it’s fine. For example if you have a character who is a mutant, X-Man style. Or if your character is gifted by magic or science as in Superman or Witchblade.

You are allowed to play two characters but only if they come from different companies. Such as playing Wonder Woman from DC and Phoenix from Marvel.

We also encourage constructive storyline feedback. If you’ve got an idea bring it to the moderators and we’ll see how it works with what’s going on. But please don’t run off the handle with your own side story without one of us knowing. Games such as this are a group effort and we don't want anyone getting lost in translation. Side stories are cool and they offer character development but make one of us aware of what’s going on so we can try to work it in. We’re smart, we’ll figure something out together.

For those of you who aren't gifted with knowing the core players of this game there will be a small initiation role-play. Too many times this group has been burned with inexperienced players who tend to not meet the expectations of the other players or who choose to drop out rather than stay for the long haul. Don't worry, it won’t be too rigorous.

We’re using an old set of rules for this one. I’m too lazy to write up a new set of rules just yet so please read the X-Rules before you join. Those rules have worked for several games in the past and a tailored rules page will be added eventually.
