Demetrius Alexzander Tepes drifted onto the shore line of World's End and survyed the area. He reached into his pocket to try and find his magical compass only to remeber that he left it on the ship. Damn my luck He walked on the each and felt a chill run down his spin. He had a bad feeling about this place. Then it happened, he felt a large energy signature only about a mile away. Well it looks like this party is going to have to start without the rest of the crew. Demetrius ran across the each and into the brush towards the energy signature. When he reached the area he saw a being digging in the Earth. He had spiky blond hair and wore a plain black robe. "So you must be one of the 10 Lord's of Darkness I've heard about?" Demetrius' blade appeared in his right hand.

The vampire stopped his digging and smiled. "So you must be Ambrose's kid brother. Indeed I am one of the Lord's of Darkness, my name is Zeth." He drew his summoned his own Katana that was the size of his ody and looked like it weighed a ton. "And this is my sword Zengetsu..." He swung his sword in the air and it created a large gust. He disappeared and reappeared in the blink of an eye and swung his massive blade at the young dhampir.

Demetrius was caught off guard on the speed at which Zeth used and how fast he swiped his blade at him. Instinct took hold and his body leapt back taking a slight gash at the chest. The hunter's gaze activated in the dhampir's eyes. Demetrius brought his sword up to are and prepaired for Zeth's next attack. "I think you are over conpinsating for something with that large blade of yours!"

Zeth grined as he aw the wound his blade had inflicted on Demetrius, but soon that grin became a scowl as the dhampir's insult sliced through hi pride like a warm knife through butter. "You posses eye's like your brother. I can't play with you now so I guess I'm going to have to finish you off now." His eyes slanted as an over sized aura swirled around him. His hand shot forward and launched a massive blast of energy at Demetrius.

Demetrius' eyes widened as the blast came forward. He had no choice but to use it dragon flame now. His sword vanished ito its amulet form again as he out streched his own arm and unleashed it. "Dragon of the Divine Flame!" The massive release of energy shot out of Demetrius' palm and twisted its form into the shape of a dragon. The massive blast collided with Zeth's energy attack and the shockwave sent Demetrius flying backwards.

Zeth watched the dragon flame intewrcept his own and was pushed back a bit from the collision. Ambrose's little brother... He rougth Zengetsu up to are and closed in on the dhampir and swung his massive blade again causeing a shockwave to head for Demetrius with the intent of slicing him in mutiple places. He had to kill Demetrius, fore he posed a rather large threat.

Demetrius landed on the ground once and then bounced. He still didn't have mastery over the dragon flame. He sat up only to see Zeth's blade slice the air and send a shock wave for the young dhampir. He rolled out of the way and most of the attack missed. On the other hand the wave sliced into his left shoulder causeing massive damage as it tore through ligiments and muscle and went straight into the bone. Demetrius growled in pain as he rose to his feet. His left arm was practicaly useless now as he resummoned his blade. "Fuck!" Demetrius charged his foe and lunged the Divine Dragon Katana at Zeth's head.

Zeth saw the fustration on the hopeless dhampir's face as he dodged the crud attack. "To think a mere dhampir like you thought you could beat me." He raised his blade in the air again and unleashed another wave slash that was meant to finish Demetrius off this time.

The attack hit Demetrius and sliced into him. His blood ran from all his wounds as he collapsed to the ground. At that very moment, Demetrius' saving grace came as the Divine Aura circled around him healing his wounds and restoring some energy. "Death comes for us all in time....I'm that time for you...DIVINE DRAGON BARRAGE!!" Demetrius charged Zeth and fell to the ground at the last minute and launched a push kick at the vampire lords face that sent him flying into the air. Demetrius launched himself into the air and unleashed a flurry of af attacks at the vital areas of Zeth's body, before lacing his right leg with divine energy and smashing his kick onto the ribs of Zeth finishing the dragon comb. As the vampire fell to the ground Demetrius flew at amazing speeds and batted Zeth back in the air with his Divine Dragon Slash. He launched himself back into the air causeing a web like pattern underneath his feet to appear from the presure of his jump. His lade returned to amulet form as the weights and wrapings from his are undid as energy swriled around his right arm and launched with violent force in the shape of a dragon devouring Zeth and his blade. Demetrius landed on the ground and panted fore the attack took up the rest of his energy.

Zeth felt ever sting of the attack and yet accepted it like it was only a bee sting. He landed on the fround with a few brusies and a cut along his side from the first two parts of the barrage. "One thing you have to know about my sword Dhampir, is that it absorbs energy and can FIRE IT BACK!" Zengetsu glowed with a blood red color and launched the Dragon of the Divine Flame back at its user.

The flame barreled into Demetrius and smashed him into trees and rocks untill it finally disapated. Demetrius laid on the ground bleeding from various areas and was barley able to move. It wasn't as ad as the last time he was struck by the flame due to his protective clothing, but still he felt aganizing pain until he passed out. His body began to float. Its power kept on increasing as a black aura surrounded it.

Zeth looked over at Demetrius as he stalked in to finish off the dhampir untill he was floating. He stood wide eyed as the bbodies aura gained strength. He had to finish this now. He brought Zengetsu up again and launched a blast of energy from it in hopes of slaying the dhampir.

The dhampir was haveing now of that as he woke up. His eyes were still in hunter's gaze mood. He felt a twing inside of him and knew something was diffrent. He felt pain all over his body and winced. It wasn't from Zeth's attack for it was block by this black aura. "Whats happening to me!" His fingures grew longer and eventually became claws, His fangs frew longer as well. Demetrius' vains turned black and his hair erupted from his scalp growing long and wild. He felt a rush of energy infuse within him.

Zeth knew what was happening, Demetrius was loseing and now his body was compinsating for it. This isn't good...his power keeps on growing and it doesn't seem like its going to stop. He readied Zengetsu which transformed into a nodachi in order to allow a more speed type of combat.

Demetrius landed on the ground, as the aura disapated. He was looking at the ground and then looked up. He licked his lips and narrowed his eyes. He charged forward his claws slicing into the ground underneath him as he ran forward. A primal roar escaped his throat.

Zeth brought his blade up again and sliced down with it sending preasure energy at Demetrius that was also infused with some of his own power. He then continued by launching several new attacks from his hand in rapid succsesion at the dhampir.

Demetrius ran straight through the attacks, parts of his body being chard and new wounds openeing up. Primal fury welled within as Zeth's sword caught him in the shoulder splashing blood on oth combatants. Demetrius didn't seem to register pain anymore as his claw went straight for Zeth,s heart.

Zeth was supprised to see Demetrius take all the blows much less see that his blade sliced into his left shoulder causing extreme damage yet Demetrius didn't register it. His mouth was a gap and his eyes widened as he felt a claw sink into his own chest and rip out his heart. Zengetsu fell to the ground and returned to its normal giant self. Zeth feel to his knee's as he coughed up lood. He was dying, Demetrius had transformed and killed him. He fell to the ground in a pool of his own blood.

Demetrius roared with pleasure as his foe dropped to the ground. He looked at the bloody muscle in his hand and licked his lips again as he sank his fangs in laping up the blood that was within it. He tossed the heart aside. Demetrius' eyes grew wide as he got a grip over himself. He felt pain sting all over him, but he had to go on. He had to find the items so he could kill Ambrose. Demetrius surveyed the area and found the spade that Zeth was useing. He grabbed it and started to dig. He knew what happend, he gave in to the beast within just like Sensi had done before. He needed to control it, but how. He dug into the ground and found it, he found the3 ring of life. When he grabed it, it started to heal him immidently. He felt his wounds close. Demetrius picked up Zengetsu and jumped into a tree and started running from branch to branch, trying to find the energy of the rest of the Lords. Ambrose I will kill you...I promise you that...I am an avenger. His hair flew back in the wind. He had somehow gained control over the beast within, it must have been due to his human side. He knew he had to find the items, and soon.

2 hours later
It had been about two hours and Demetrius had just finished seeing the extent of the power he obtained by emracing his inner beast. He was now able to walk on water, run along walls and trees, and he had total control over the element of fire. He had even gained the ability to unleash the Dragon of the Divine Flame at least six times a day. He seemed to have better control over his energy as well and thus even his dragon barrage didn't consume any more energy. His speed and strength had also increased dramatically and he felt confident in his powers. He also need not stand in one place to use the Dragon of the Divine Flame. This is great...soon i'll be able to fight on an equal level as Ambrose. After trying out all of his new abilites, Demetrius picked up the ring of life which brought back all of his strength. He knew that he still didn't have complet mastery of his new found power, but still it was a great start. He stood on a tree branch and began searching the area for any other items or Lords. He noticed that his shirt and coat wore torn all over, so he ripped them off and tossed them into the wind. The beast within Demetrius had finally awaken.

A thunderous crash sounded as Sensi's feet crushed the ground under him upon his landing. His morbid, yet keen eyes, caught sight of the King and a yell to him, left Sensi's lips. Sensi caught the faint sent of magic eather in the air, telling him a battle recently accured. He took out the compass and tossed it to Demetrius. "I'll go with you."

The dhampir would have normally shocked to see anyone, much less Sensi pop out ot thin air, but now due to his new powers and a change in personality, found it intresting. He caught the compass with ease and placed it in his pocket. "Thanks...now a new rule..." He paused for a second "Stop blowing holes in my bloody ship!" He waited in the tree looking at the beach and saw a row boat heading towards them. "For now though, we shall wait for the others, just in case they should get ambushed." Demetrius had grown up more since embracing the beast. He seemed to those who have travled with him more relaxed and grown up. He saw a dragon not far from the row boat.

Sensi appraoched the tree, that Deme was perched on. Standing under him, his eyes squint a bit and lock onto the oncomming boat. He agreed with the King's decision about waiting for the others. The comment about his ship, made the Hard Emporer smirk abit, "My apologies, M'lord. I have a problem controlling my temper, one speaks about my mother." He spoke this, eyes still watching the boat.

"It's cool." He stood by sensing the enviorment around him. He had a feeling that another Lord was close. "Get ready...greet the others, I'll be back in 5." Demetrius left an after image effect of himself when he took off jumping from branch to branch.

As the small boat bumps up against the shore, Jewl stands up. "Thank you, Telcara." She says shortly. Her leg had healed to the point of a thin, shallow scrape, surrounded by a scar. The rest of Telcara's offered energy had gone into mending her clothes. Her black boots were flawless again, but her tanned leggings were down-sized to end at mid-thigh. Jewl's flowing, creamy tunic was presently sleeve-less, and instead of an extra, supple-leather shirt, a black corset bound itself around her. Her locks of long hair were deep blue and bound in a single braid. She hopped off of the boat and onto the shore, looking around.

Kendra was the second one to leave the boat. She looked around, taking in her surroundings just as Jewl was doing. It looked like any island should be expected to, yet there was something different about it, something she couldn't place. She shook her head slightly and turned her attention to the others still on the boat.

Telcara gave Jewl a nod as an response to her thanks. Looking at the island, Telcara jumped off the boat, shrugged and found an apple in one of her pockets and took a bite of it.

Demetrius leapt from branch to branch. He felt a new energy signature. This one seemed stronger than the last one he felt. "So I may have a new challeng after all." He smiled to himself knowing this may be the perfect time to test out his "new" powers. He cracked his claws and layed in wait. With a mental command he banished Pyre back to the astral realm.

Cenith set foot on the greyish shores of the island, looking around and noticing the sign from the tree. Having read it, he grinned. "Cosy place, this. Still, somebody has taken the effort to write a welcoming sign, so I guess it ain't so bad."
He walked over to Telcara, Jewl and Kendra. "Hello ladies. Ready for a hike? I believe the others are waiting for us."

Sensi was still standing and waiting in the same place, under the tree that the King was perched on. He watched as one by one the crew members made their way up the shore. "Greeting comrades. We are to wait for a few while the King does whatever it is he's doing. Now would be a good time to introduce ourselves to one another. I'll start. I am Emporer Sensi, But here and now, I am just Sensi. Elite Warrior to our mutual King. At one time, Exalted ruler to the Empire Rhydin. But that has all but passed now. And so that's me. WHo are you?"

Telcara's eyes found Sensi and she listened to his short speech. Taking another bite of the apple, she threw what was left of it at him. "My name is Telcara. That is all you need to know, my dear Emporer." Her eyes went to bright green as she smiled coldly at him.

The apple thorwn by Telecara, seizes itself in the air, inches from Sen's body. It spins on a slight axis before simply dropping to his feet. Sensi's cold, morbid eyes locked with Telcara's. He noted the coldness in her smile and he knew very well why. "M'lady. I do apologize for the prior incident. But you are too blame. One should not talk so freely of another's family. Wether you choose to hold the grudge is of your own accord."

Jewl grins slyly, a mischevious spark in her eyes. "Oh, don't blame Sensi, Telcara, he had a very poor childhood." She comments with a slippery glance at Sensi. "Well, Sensi knows me well enough, we've been through years together. My Name is Jewl Aramielle De La Mirdesang. Jewl is all I will accept, unless you are a subject in my realm of The Buddaru." She bows. "My history is for my own memory."

An apology? Telcara couldn't remember the last time someone had said an apology to her. The coldness she had radiated faded away and her smile actually looked rather sweet. "You may speak freely of my family if you wish. Knowing nothing about your family is good sometimes. Still, I am quite sure of that I am no lady." Telcara hesitated before she continued. It was interesting to hear that Jewl and Sensi knew each other. "I suppose that I should accept your apology, and apologize for my... choice of words."

Kendra wondered exactly what the purpose of introductions was. They had all met on the ship, had they not? Surely Sensi didn't think their memories were that bad. Still, she figured it was best to comply. "I am known as Kendra Relcar, from the town of Nagath in Valinor. My history is not worth noting."

Zenith's emerald eyes followed the exchange of introductions and apologies from behind the veil of her fiery hair, silently awed by the political stature of her crewmates. She found a smile coming to her lips as Kendra spoke, deciding to offer her own introduction. With a casual toss of her head, the slender girl dipped into a flowery bow. Grinning playfully as she straightened, she wondered what elaborate lie she should weave this time. "The name is Zenith Aeria Tyrianis, daughter of Lyssa Tyrianis, barmaid and errand girl. Not terribly exciting, but it's my life."

Another voice was heard, "My name is Darrius...and I am a lord of darkness." He bore a giant ax on his back and wore only black leather armor. His face and arms were scared. At his side was another item the crew seeked. The item was the gem of death. "I doubt your king will e here to help you." He seemed to vanish in thin air, becoming a blur. He looked at Zenith and smiled to himself. The Fire Lord's brat. He was in front of Sensi and with his already powerful strength launched a jumping back kick into his chest followed by an impossibaly fast spining hook kick at his temple.

The sudden appearence of this being indeed, ran a ripple through everyone's attention, allowing him the time and space needed to reach Emporer Sensi. His attack was fast and furious, although the bottom of Darrius's boot hit something solid, it was not his chest, It was Sensi's Blackened Metal Armband. So when he attempted the second and last kick, Sensi's head cocked a bit to the side, and watched as the other leg sailed over his head. Instantly Sensi counter attacked: Throwing a forceful but more quick jab with his right fist, he continues with an elbow jab with the same arm. Retracting his right arm back again, a sickening metal through flesh sound erupted, and as did a slim, scimitar blade looking spike from The Great Emporer's elbow. Again he attack with the same arm, only this time, several vicious slash came at Darrius.

Darrius was a little annoyed that his "prey" was able to block his attacks and go on the offensive. The elbow and jab through him back far enough though to allow Darrius space to easily dodge Sen's attacks. He had studied up n both Demetrius and Sensi and knew how they fought, except he was happy the dhampir wasn't their due to his recent "changes". He avoided the elbow blade and jumped back. Laughing he unleashed an attack that Yoko, Sparda, and Steel could use...the nitemares rain. The spreaded the attack to everyone in the area in an attempt to use their fears against them. "Lets dance..." His power and speed dramatically increased as he moved iinside of Sen's attacks and thrusted his wicked claws at the purebloods guts.

Telcara took a few steps back when she saw Darrius. He is apparently not after me.. Still she found her dagger and held it in her hand in a way that made it hard for others to see it. Keeping an eye on Darrius and Sensi as they were fighting, Telcara concentrated on her magic and made the shields around her stronger. Suddenly a change could be felt and memories started to show up in her head one after the other. She had enough sense to feel that all the memories was about her in some kind of weakened state. Some she remembered clearly, others she couldn't be sure of when and if they had happened. The magic Telcara was strengthening her shields with was no longer strengthening them. Instead, it was blasting out of her in various directions. If her head was not full of unpleasant memories and her magic blasting out of her she would have laughed. She had lost control over her magic. Taking control over her magic again Telcara built up a wall in her mind that blocked the memories. As soon as she had got the wall up it crumbled down. After a couple of unpleasant childhood memories she had enough of it and pushed away the force which was making her mind re-live the most weakened moments in her life with all her strength.

When the great, axe-bearing man appared near them, Zenith slipped away as quickly as she could. The faintest flicker of recognition passed through her mind, but she discarded it quickly. Why! she cursed as Darrius exchanged blows with Sensi, Why, in all of bloody Valinor, did I choose THAT boat.
Then the fear began to blossom in her breast and her footsteps, as well as her curses, faltered. Before her eyes, she could see her mother burning to death; burning clothing pealing away from charred flesh as the fire consumed the blond-haired figure of Zenith's mother. A stiffled sob escaped Zenith's lips as she twisted away from what appeared to all others to be nothing.
"No!" She cried, suffering her own personal anguish. She could feel the soot smearing on her cheeks as tears flowed from her painfully bright green eyes. No, no, no, no, no... she kept repeating mindlessly to herself, as if that one word might be able to somehow change her mother's fate.
After an timeless eternity, Lyssa Tyrianis was all but ashes and another scene swam into Zenith's mind. Her vision was tinted red by the flickering flames that wreathed her father's face and figure. The way the dangerous fires caressed and followed his form was unsettling, but not nearly as unsettling as his gaunt features and his midnight-black eyes. Those eyes ceared into her own: soft emerald eyes penetrated by the all consuming malice of those obsidien depths. Her sobs died into breathless hickups and fear, so raw that it gave her physical pain, siezed her heart.
As if materializing out of her fear, a great taloned hand of shadows reached out for her. This, all the other companions could see. The hand seemed to come from nowhere, a darkness that seemed at home on the bleak isle of World's End. Her scream caught in her throat and she stumbled backwards, tripping over sand and ash. The darkness-concieved claw wrapped its deathly fingers around her thin neck. Her own fingers, frail and pale in comparison, reached up to clutch helplessly at her throat, gasping for breath.

Demetrius lost the energy reading he was following. Damn...whats this? Someone knows of my past. Demetrius bent down and found his old death briner clothin. "Fine." He discarded the rest of his old cloths and reclothed himself in his old cloths. He felt a strong surg of energy from the beach. Damn it...they set a trap for the others...I need to get there now. Demetrius ran from tree branch to tree branch to get back to the beach. He found everyone in the grip of fear itself. Ambrose...and the Tsukuyomi...no he wouldn't be able to use it on them all at once. He saw the fiend that was attacking his friends. The Nitemares Rain...damn it. Demetrius saw the claw grab hold of Zenith's throat and knew he had to stop it from taking her to who knows where. With a glance at Darrius, Demetrius strode into the black fog that carried the nitemare. His senses were assulted by the feeling of helplessness, but he quickly shock it off haveing been hit by this attack and the more personal and potent tsukuyomi. He Fire Dragon Katana manifested itself into Demetrius' hands as he brought it up to bear against the claw.

The apparition thrust Zenith backwards without relinquishing it's grasp on her throat. The wide-eyed young woman lost her footing and fell back, sprawling out in the sand and writhing in an attempt to escape the clutches of her ethereal attacker. Demetrius' strike missed the claw, but passed through the powerfully clenching muscles of the unnaturally wiry fore-arm attached to it. The shadow's arm disipated briefly under the attack, but swirling black mists quickly reformed the vile, dissembodied hand that stole Zenith's breath.
Fear was written plainly on the girl's face. She did not understand what was happening to her, and her lungs were beginning to ache for air, convulsing painfully in her chest. Her eyes were on Demetrius, clinging to the knowledge that he would help her - she had no inclination how, but she put her faith in him.

"Damn you!" Demetrius' considered dismissing his blade when a thought came to him. The thing dissapted for a few seconds when he sliced through it. Thats it Demetrius ran his blade through the beast. Moveing with god like speed the young dhampir thrusted his own claw into the creatures, before taking to the air with Zenith in his arms. He eyed the beast almost daring it to come after them.

Zenith gasped for breath as soon as the ethereal claw had left her neck. Her hands lingered at her throat briefly as she coughed and faught back the lightheadedness that was imparing her vision. For a nauseating moment she saw black splotches swimming in and out of sight, so she closed her eyes tightly and wrapped an arm around Demetrius' neck for balance. Her racing heartbeat began to regulate itself and the darkness left her eyes as she took several breaths. The creature did not seem to be persuing them. Instead, it simply blinked out of sight. Slowly, Zenith opened her eyes.

Demetrius swooped down towards the ground, but instead of landing he aimed a well timed slash at Darrius, before flying back up to the air. Hopefully that may have broke his consentration on the attack. His blade returned to Amulet form as the Hunter's Gaze activated. "Zenith are you alriht? What was that thing?" As he spoke fire appeared under Darrius' legs. The fire rose out into flaming spikes.

"I.." Zenith had to clear her throat, "I think I'll be fine in a moment. Just a little... lightheaded is all." Her voice was breathy and hoarse and there were red marks on her neck. "I'll be bruised in the morning." Soft fingertips touched her neck gingerly, but she forced a smile and shrugged. Contemplating his next question, her smile disappeared instantly. For a moment of silence she averted her eyes, letting the winds tease her coppery locks and her lungs catch up with her body. When she did speak, she did not look back up at him. It was a wonder that her words carried to him, for they were softly spoken and her eyes were haunted, distant. "I have seen it before; in fires and in my dreams and memories. I could not tell you what it is, but I .." she cleared her throat again, swallowing and forcing the words from her lips, "I know that it wants me."

"Well, I'm sorry Zenith..." Jewl said as she tilted her head. "...But we'll need to discuss this when there's a lull in our battle-strewn life." She commented with a grin as she snuck up behind Darrius with her sword, Deicide unsheathed. When she was sure he wasn't looking, she lunged with a deadly thrust to his kidney.

Darrius watched his spell take effect on the fighters around him and took pleasure in watching their torment. He also loved the claw coming to take the Zenith to his lord. His smile quickly left his face when Demetrius joined the fight. "Damn it..." He watched as Demetrius rescued Zenith and narrowly avoided his blade causeing his spell to vanish. When the flame pillars burst out of the ground, he barly was able to avoid them at the last second only to find a blade in his kidney. He screamed like a mad horse before throwing a back kick right for Jewl's stomach and taking to the air. He had to take down Demetrius.

Demetrius knew Jewl was right about saveing the questions for later. "Pyre!" Pyre poped into existense again as Demetrius placed Zenith on his back. "Keep her safe." He handed Zenith the Ring Of Life. "This should heal you and restore all of your energy. Give it to the others while I fry this monster here ok." He gave her a slight wink before flying over to Darrius. "So Darrius are you ready to fed some worms?" He laughed as his face showed the blood lust he craved.

Jewl barely managed to dodge the kick at her stomach, but it still made her take a step backward. Her eyes lit up with fire, an amazing orange that seemed to glow from inside her. Her hair was still onyx black, but no longer bound behind her. Now it freely cascaded down her back. She looked up a Darrius. "Running away from a woman?! I thought you were a threat! Now you add cowardice to your list of blemishes?" She yelled, the air around her suddenly beginning to shimmer with heat.

The sudden pain in Telcara's head disappeared and she looked around and saw Pyre with Zenith on his back. Soon after that discovery her eyes found Demetrius, the red Siren's captain who had suddenly disappeared from the ship. Telcara raised her left hand to her mouth and touched her lips with her fingers and looked at them. Blood.. Everything else in the world didn't matter to her at that moment, only the blood. The red color fascinated her. Kendra probably thought that she had healed what caused her to cough up the blood, Telcara herself had also hoped it would be healed. A curse is a curse though, and curses don't go away easily. A drop of the blood searched it way to the ground. When it hit the ground, Telcara woke up from her thoughts. There was fighting going on, she realized, not wanting to have anything to do with it she walked past a few trees and continued walking until she was out of sight, holding her dagger in the right hand.

It was then that the Great Emporer Sensi, Pureblood vampire of the Kindred line, and at one time Parasite to the demon overlord Jyhad, Beat the Spell Darrius had place upon him. Every horrifying memory the entered his mind was negated as he forced himself to admit that it wasn't true. He held his hand for a whlie, pushing his hands into his head, pressurizing it. And then, he blink and the effects where gone, leaving him back to full power and full fighting capacity. He eyes opened, and they caught full sight of the scene at hand. Half the crwe was screaming and crying from that cursed spell. How dare some one use, one's mental pain and emotional scars to win, how cowardly. This did indeed anger the being feared through out the lands, Sensi. And he had enough. Darrius seemd occupied with Demetrius and Jewl, so he had time to prepare a full proof plan to end the Lord of Darkness. His hands slapped together, and he forecfully pulled them apart. In the middle of his tense hands, erupted an redish black, perfect energy circle. Not an orb, a perfect doughnut like circle. In the middle of this energy ring, tendril like lines of enerfetic static, moved to the middle before connecting into an "X" shape. The spell was ready after five mintues of sheer undisturbed concentration. His hands, holding the deadly ring of power, where suddenly forced back together, slapping loudly again, as if the spell was being reveresed. Sensi's head snapped up as his hellish eyes locked onto Darrius. "You time has come creature of the damned.!" Like a missle he was air born, the ground under his feet decimated. The speed he traveled, was unknown, and unmatched. It was at that exact point that His shard elbow blade sank deep into Darrius's side, all the way in actually. Instead of ripping it back out, Sensi retracted it, sliding it back into his arm, and again, his hands slapped together. The now solid ring of death appeared, and threw itself it Darrius. Truth was, it was not an attack spell at all, it was a VERY powerful spell of binding. The ring slammed into Darrius, and them unlatched itself, and hugged him, relatching and holding his still, severe static electricity surges through his body, frying his nerve endings. "Finish it, M'lord." His words where of course directed to Demetrius. Sensi was too preoccupied holding the spell in place.

Demetrius growled. "You finish it!" He swooped down and landed on the ground once again and looked up at Sensi. "If you want me to finish it, remove your spell. I'll not fight anyone that can't defend themselves!" The dhampir kings snse of honor and pride had gotten the best of him once again. Damn and I really wanted to test out my new gifts... He shock his head as he dug into his pockets for something. What he pulled out was a glasses case and inside was his red tinted glasses. Putting them on his face he was able to see better when it came to long range things, not to mention it was a great fashion statement. Soon he found a rock and sat on it stareing at Darrius he sat was being shocked. He shock his head once again.

Pyre watched as Sensi used his speacial binding spell on Darrius. "Oh boy, Demetrius is not going to be very happy..." The dragon swooped back down to the ground with Zenith on his back. When they landed he let her off so she could use the ring of life to help the others.

Walking further in towards the island, Telcara stopped and wiped away the blood she had on the lips with the sleeve of the robe. The blood glittered red on the black material before it was absorbed. After wiping off the blood from the fingers on the robe leaving no marks on it, she concentrated on her magic and healed what she could. Nothing, it turned out to be. Not being able to grasp her magic she kicked a stone on the ground with anger. Grasping her magic again and with anger showing clearly in her eyes, she managed to heal herself enough to not cough up blood. And for how long will this last? Telcara sat down on the ground and gazed up at the sky and thought of different ways to get away from the island. This was not her fight, she had nothing to do with these dark lords.

Jewl's upper lip rose just a touch. What a DAY. "I'll do it, if niether of you will." She reprimanded. She sauntered coldly over to Darrius with Deicide naked and pointed lazily at his throat. "I give you a chance at mercy. You will die quickly." Before she struck, she looked disgustedly at Demetrius and at Sensi.

Cenith, who had been watching most of the time, and the rest of the time he'd been sidestepping wayward energy blasts in order not to get hurt, now send a telepathic message to Jewl. 'Why show him mercy? He's a lord of darkness. he doesn't care. You just giving him a chance to betray you, to betray us all. Just finish it, don't get heroic. He won't be impressed.'
He crossed his arms and silently watching as Darrius, Lord of Darkness, was helpless. Cenith was contemplating if it might be best to split up. By the looks of it, Sensi could handle himself, and nothing more. He didn't know exactly what happened, but he began to suspect it had been Sensi who'd bown up the ship.

Sensi attitude towards the fight and the King gravely shifted at the King's comment. Still holding the same posture as before, to allow maximum power on the spell. He rips his arms appart from being perfectly straight with each other. The ring holding Darrius, began to glow brightly, a sure sign of pending dentonation. Thin beams of light are drawn into the ring from the area around it, before a thick covering of golden static electricity began to buzz around the ring, and Darrius. This happened moments after Jewl and struck him in the throat, so Sensi wasn't even sure if Darrius knew what was about to happen. With a nod of his head, he motioned for Jewl to steer clear, and find some cover, and he quickly did the same.

"Oh bloody hell, why don't we just blow up the entire island while we're at it anyway?" Cenith remarked, while quickly seeking cover behind a nearby tree. Standing behind the tree, he figured that a palm tree wouldn't help much either, if Sensi was able to blow a self-restoring self-steering magical boat into little tiny bits.

Jewl sighed and swept her hands to either side of her. Immediately an orb of heat-shimering emergy engulfed Jewl. She sat down to wait, with a clear shield to protect her.

At the last moment Darruius freed himself from the ring. He smiled and knew from watching the crew that there was a huge gap in their ability to work together. "Fools, you should have killed me when you had the chance." The ring exploaded as Darrius vanished again in a flash. "It will take more to kill me than just stupid tricks and fancy light shows..."

As the ring exploaded and Darrius made his little speech, Demetrius walked over and smiled. "Now its a fair fight." His sword reappeared as he stared at the beast. "You can defend yourself now and I tire of your pathetic voice."

Darrius watched the king and drew his ax. "Young King, you are a fool. As I said before, none of you have a chance of killing me." He swung his az riht for Demetrius' head ready to kill of the one who meedled with this fight to begin with.

Demetrius laughed as the giant az head made an arc for his head. With his new speed he leapt off the ground and landed on the ax. Without a word he did the same move with his sword slicing the Lord of Darkness' head off. Blood flowed from the corpses neck as it feel to its knees. Demetrius steped of of the ax as it dropped and shock his head, "You talk way to damn much, and I hate demons that talk more than me." He dismissed his katana aain and pulled the gem of death off of Darrius' body. Demetrius turned to the others and shrugged. He knew someone was going to yell at him, but he didn't care.

Cenith came back from behind his tree, and watched as Darius' body sprinkled the ground with blood. Somewhat unimpressed, he asked: "So that's it? You slice it's head off, and it's dead? I fought zombies trickier to kill than that. Although I must admit, for a Lord of Darkness who's going to destroy the world and all that, this one seemed rather stupid to me. I'm not impressed with your little quest to save the world, and I am going to bother you asking why you brought us along. By the looks of it, you might as well go by yourself. Unless you want us for meatshield, that is."

Demetrius stared at Kenith and grined. "And this is coming from you, someone how hids behind a tree." The dhampir strode over to where Pyre had landed. "And since you and some of the others are most likly wondering why your here is because I do need help. If you don't like that then leave, no one is stopping you." His eyes returned to their normal state as he patted his dragon on the head. "That goes for all of you too... Pyre, you should rest, I want you to go back to the astral realm until I need you again." Pyre bowed to his master and faded away silently until a loud Pop was heard. Consentrating, Demetrius began trying to find the enery trail that he had been following earlier, ut he picked up nothing. Damn they must be on to our presence now. Demetrius was a little agitated now.

Sensi stood nearby and listened to the King. Disgust filled him and he dicided he was no longer need. Besuade he had an Empire to awaken. "So be it,M'Lord I shall take my leave." And that was it, no smoke, lighting or anything, He simply popped out of sight and was gone.

Demetrius shock his head. Well it looks as if Sensi will be gone for the duration of this quest...damn who else is going to leave? The dhampir watched and waited before he spoke again. "Listen, this leardship thing is new for me. Most of my life, I have had to fight alone. I promised that I would prtect you all, and I will continue to do so. The reason why I need your help is due to the fact that we all have our own unique and various powers. With these powers, we can make a diffrence. I can't do this alone. I'm sorry if I have said anything to offend you guys. There are only two items left here, so lets get them and et off of this island before somethin bad happens again. We are a team, so we need to start acting like one. No more egos which I am guilty for, no more showing off. We need to et this done and the only way to do so is to work together."

Jewl closed her eyes and stood up. She really didn't have anything to say, and she contempated whther or not to follow Sensi, and leave.

The soft leather of Zenith's boots scuffed quietly in the sand as she walked past Cenith, past his tree, and past the place where Sensi had disappeared. In her hand, she held the Ring of Life and in her eyes she bore her own personal flame. "I stay." She said in a voice that held a gentle strength. "I have no great powers to shatter ships or bind Dark Lords, but I owe you my life Demetrius."

The dhampir beamed at Zenith. Demetrius' spirit was rekindled now that he knew at least one of the roup was with him. "Thank you Zenith, ut what I did today I'd gladly do again in a heartbeat." Demetrius looked to the rest of the group, "Who else is with me?" At that moment, Pyre reappeared. "My Lord, you can always count on me." Demetrius looked at Pyre and laughed. "Yes I know I can count on you to be lazy, but a true friend." Both the draon and the dhampir laughed as if all the weight was finally removed from Demetrius' shoulders. He knew then that he didn't have to impress anyone, and that he had a friend, besides Pyre.

Telcara had finished thinking. The place she would need to teleport to was too far away. Raising up, Telcara brushed off invisible dirt from her clothes and with a little magic her dagger that she had been holding in her right hand disappeared, a stone in her sleeve that was hidden had 'absorbed' it. Useful item, but not with much capacity. Whenever she would need that dagger again, it would appear in her hand.. hopefully. As with any other low-quality magical object, they were not one hundred percent trustworthy. Telcara did have other such stones with higher quality but they were all used up. Magicians would not gain any profit from selling stones that would last an eternity. Telcara took a deep breath and disappeared.. and re-appeared behind Kendra and placed her right hand on Kendra's shoulder. Not putting so much thought into it, she had decided to go to wherever Kendra was.

The Gem of Death started to glow in Demetrius' hands as the ringof life fluttered from Zenith's hand into his own. The em started to speak. "Young Lord Tepes, go through the portal to your clans home, the home of your dead father...know this only vampires may enter. If your allies wish to continue your quest, then they will be turned unless they are already damned." Pyre looked at his master and Dmetrius nodded. The familar went back to its home in the pocket plan. Demetrius knew his next stage in the quest would be to go through the portal. "Alright, I'll go." At that moment The Red Siren was transported through the portal and the gem let out a type of gas. It also opened two portals. One led to wherever the others wanted to go, the other led to the Tepes Vampire Grounds. Demetrius looked at his friends and wondered which if any would continue the quest with him. The gem's gas enshrouded the crew and as Demetrius waved goodbye to those who would not join him, the gem had a parting sentence, "If you continue the quest, accept the gas and inhail and think about becoming a vampire...then follow us through the portal. The rest of you may go wherever you want through the other portal." The figure of Demetrius vanished without a trace through the portal.

Looking completely baffled by the sudden turn of events, Zenith stared after Demetrius. "Wait!" She shouted after him, even as he disappeared. She ran towards the portals staring at them with a look that bordered bemusement, balking at the gas and shifting her weight almost like a lost animal. Her green eyes flickered around her, questioning those people who remained. "What's going on?" She didn't understand what it meant to become a vampire, and she was afraid of going back as much as she was of moving forward.
Shadows began to flicker across the beach towards her slender form, and whispers began to murmur into the back of her mind. The hairs on the back of her neck stood on end fear began to creep up her spine. In her minds eye she saw the claw, open and reaching for her, and she could almost feel it's burning touch on her throat. "Right." She aloud to console herself. Her voice wavered. "Best get going then. Can't be any worse than this, can it?" She laughed, but it was a weak, cynical laugh. Of course it can. "Here goes nothing", she said before taking a deep breath, walking into the mist and disappearing through the portal after Demetrius.

"I'll be dead before I help a clan of bloodsuckers. Count me out." Cenith focused his mind, and teleported away from the entire scene.

Still with her hand on Kendra's shoulder, Telcara saw the portals appear and Demetrius walk through the portal for vampires and vampire wannabes. With interest she viewed Zenith walk through as well. Leaning closer to Kendra, Telcara whispered in her ear "There are other ways of staying immortal. To have the gift to heal others is rare and valuable. If you walk through the other portal you may be at home again. Think about it. You will have the chance to educate yourself in the art of healing." Telcara looked at the portal that would transport herself to wherever she wanted. Cenith had not seemed so much interested in becoming a vampire and had vanished, not using the portal. Telcara took away her hand from Kendra's shoulder. "It should be safe for you to use that portal." Telcara herself though, would not be taking that risk. It would be a little risky, yes.. but becoming a vampire sounded far more worse than ending up in the wrong cave, or no cave at all. Concentrating on her magic she found the place she meant to go to in her mind and vanished.

Kendra's face was the picture of confusion. Everything had happened way too fast. One minute they'd been making introductions and the next she was pretty sure some one had been attacked and a battle had ensued, though any details were beyond her. Even Demetrius's offer to return her home or to convert her to vampirism- those were the two options, were they not?- had been too much for her to grasp. The 14-year-old stood there in shock, her mind numb from trying to take it all in and figure it out. It was hopeless to try and understand it, or even to know exactly what had happened. Why were those the only options? Which one should she choose? To be home... the idea was wonderful. She'd finally be able to let her family know that she was alright, and life would be back to normal; no more danger. And yet... something had changed. She was no longer the innocent child she had been. Now she was more. She had matured during the adventures, and most would now consider her more woman than child. Returning to her old life was an impossibility. She could go home, but nothing would be the same. She would not be able to forget the thrill of learning swordplay with Demetrius, or the fear she felt when she watched battle. She was changed.
She became aware of Telcara's presence at her shoulder, and she carefully listened to the woman's words. She realized that few were left; most had entered the portals. Telcara was trying to tell her to take the one home, to return to her own life. As if immortality was what concerned her. Telcara wanted her to live a full life, as if she was still growing up and still had an open future ahead of her. But that was not the case. She'd been through too much, and now she realized whatever her future held, it would include more adventures. It would include helping Demetrius finish his quest. It would mean becoming a vampire.
The girl who was no longer such a child hesitated only a moment longer, realizing that she was all but alone on the strange island. Then she confirmed her choice and stepped forward, taking the portal that would bring her to Demetrius, that would bring her to her future- her future as a vampire.

Jewl just rolled her eyes and stepped through. "Vampirism is a curse and a blessing. Once you're as old as me, it's just as normal as being blond or having green eyes." She murmured.
