Information: Duo Maxwell is the happy piolet in this gundam group. Being the happy one most of the times he always makes absurbed comments when he really shouldn't... In one episode where he is about to die in a cell with Wu Fei becaue they shut off the oxygen flow he says, "What a dinky way to die."

He even offers friendship to silent cold shouldered Heero. In the beginning of the show Duo even tries to kill Heero but then only ends up saving him when an OZ officer, Sally Po, takes him into some medical institute. What are the odds? Since then Heero slowly began to trust creating the odd friendship. We can also assume that Duo has a thing for Hilde. They are always together once they meet.

The friendliest of the Gundam boys. Duo always take a light-hearted approach to everything. Often telling others, especially Heero and Wufei, to take it easy and enjoy life a bit more. He's got long braided hair, and distinctive black clothes. Ironically, since he pilots the Deathscythe Hell, he is referred to as the "angle from Hell". His personality is no where near "hell", instead, he's funny and jokes around all the time.
He seems to be the only "normal" person amongst the 5 boys (plus being the idol of adoration amongst female fans of the series). Duo is friendly and gets along with everyone in the series. A really funny person and a jokester.

Kit's Comment: Americans are just so talkative! Duo is VERY loveable and his personality is strange due to his past. Duo was orphaned and was raised around a church in which the minister had the name Maxwell, so he took the name. Unfortunately the church was burned down.

Actually as a matter of fact it was from Duo's braid that I learned how to draw braids ^^.

Also, Duo's given title is "Shinigami" because Shinigami literally translates to "God of Death".
