Rayan sighed, and threw a bag over his shoulder. He looked to Abi, and helped her up,"Let's go."

Dalamir exited his room, with a travel bag as well,"Mmmhmm."

Rayan blinked, and remembered his two other companions,"Wait, Dim and Mel..."

Dalamir's eyes narrowed,"Feh, they'll catch up."

Rayan looked uneasily to him, and sighed,"...fine."

Dimitri looked at Melody warily "Are you okay?" he asked quietly as he paced behind her.

Melody's ears twitched, and she looked to Dimitri. She smiled again,"Heh, yeah, just still a bit shaken..."

Dimitri nodded slowly "Do you... know what that was...?"

She shook her head,"No...n-not really." Melody heaved a heavy sigh,"Someone was watching me though. I knew that much."

"Ummm.. I can't walk very well with this cut.."Abi said

"..." Dimitri's eyes narrowed "Who?"

Melody's ears drooped, and then twitched another time,'I don't know. It was a rather scary experience though..."

Rayan looked to her, and sighed, bending down,"Get on my back."

Dimitri stopped walking and looked at her, eyes darkening.

"Hmm?" Melody blinked, and turned to Dimitri,"Something wrong?"

He was silent, face stoney until he took a few steps forward and pulled Melody towards him, wrapping his arms around her. "You're okay right...?" he asked again, voice wavering unsteadily this time.

Melody turned a few shades of red deeper. She blinked, and and swallowed,"Um...yeah..." she said,"Hey, you know it could've been w-worse...I got out, thanks to you."

He pulled in a breath, wings twitching horribley "Okay," he shut his eyes, grip tightening a bit "Don't go off on anymore long walks, okay?"

"Mmm." Melody sniffed, again, and nodded. A few tears stung her eyes and traveled down her face, but they stopped after a few seconds,"Y-yeah..." she laughed slightly,"Never again."

He nodded " 'Kay" he stepped back from her, eyes shut tight. He sighed, opening them again to reveal his sable orbs, narrowed and sharp. "Let's go back before Abi beats Rayan up about his male tendencies," his personality and shield back up he continued pacing.

'Who's Abi...?!' Melody watched him for a while, and sighed, following behind.

"...umm...okay..."Abi climbed up onto Rayan's back.

Rayan smiled, and mounted her a bit higher onto his back. He began to walk onward towards the door,"You okay up there?" he asked.

"Ya.."Abi said but lied.

Rayan stopped for a while, and shot her a look,"...if you feel the least bit uncomfortable, tell me, and we'll stop." he smiled, and continued walking.

Melody sighed, as they neared Rayan's house,"Thank God..." she sighed, and ran on ahead. She ran around the house, and blinked as the three of the exited the house. She blinked at Dalamir, then Rayan, then at the unfamiliar Abi,"....I'm a bit lost here?"

"..." Dimitri eyed the three "Abandoning us?"

Dalamir blinked to the two, and sighed,"See rayan, i told you they'd catch up, no worries."

Rayan blinked to them, and smiled,"Hey guys...ah, we're just leaving."

Melody cocked her head,"...why? Was the whole in the roof getting irritating?"

Dalamir snickered.

Rayan sighed,"No...apparently, I accidently made a weapon for Kaine our little vampy friend..."

Melody's eyes widened at him,"...what?!"

Dalamir, spat on the gorund,"Long story...the point is, we have to leave. He knows where you guys were crashing around." he sighed irritably,"Thought I don't know how me, Rayan, and Abi got dragged into this by you two..."

Melody twitched slightly,"You saying this is OUR fault?!"

Dalamir, shot a look at her, and walked on,"Yes." he replied blandly.

Dimitri narrowed his eyes "Dick," he mumbled walking past him and ahead, taking care to shove his shoulder as he went.

Dalamir glared at Dimitri as he passed by, and muttured,"Cockhead."

Melody rolled her eyes, and walked on behind him.

Rayan sighed, and stared at the back of Melody's head idly, and watched her ears twitch.

Dalamir followed his actions,"What took the Queen of England so long anyways?"

Melody stopped, and looked around to them. She paused for a while, then turned back, and walked on forward,"I just got a little lost," she muttured, lying.

Dimitri eyed Melody as she passed and turned to give Dalamir a dark look "Not that it's any of your business, Elf,"

Dalamir shot the look back to Dimitri, and snarled,"Oh, forgive me, Mr. Sunshine." he hissed sarcastically.

Rayan moaned irritably,"Guuyyyyssss..." he whined.

"Maybe it's better to be hostile," Dimitri growled turning forward again "Then you don't end up making weapons for vampires who are out to kill you," his eyes narrowed at the horizon, choosing to spare Dalamir his death look.

Melody's ears twitched at the constant ruckuss behind her, and sighed, spitting on the ground again out of habit. She came to another abrupt stop, and looked to Dalamir and Rayan,"Where the hell are we going anyways?"

Dalamir kept walking at his slow and steady pace,"Argazeth," he replied.

Melody blinked, and remembered the name from before, when rayan was directing them towards Doräami,"Argazeth? The floating human city?" she cocked her head.

Dalamir nodded,"Yep..."

Rayan looked to his older brother,"...why the hell are we going there? All it's full of is humans-"

"Exactly. It's protected- no vampire can ridicule or attack the place."

His brows furrowed,"Nor elf. How the hell are we gonna get them to let us pass?"

Dalamir sighed,"I don't know...we'll find a way."

Rayan shook his head in disbelief,"This is crazy-"

"You got any better ideas, Ray?" he snapped at his sibling.

He paused, then slowly shook his head,"...no."

"Then we're going." Dalamir continued walking.

"Wait," Dimitri stopped, placing his hands lazily on his hips "If only humans are allowed there, how am I supposed to hide these massive, usless sons of bitches?" he pointed to the two wings twitched on his back.

Dalamir stopped, and eyed Dimitri,"Hmmm...well, then the most humane-like person among us will have to take the rest of us along in, as people who've violated the 'humans only' rule. They'll let us in, then we'll have to find some isolated place to stay for the most."

Melody twitched,"And what if this all backfires and we all end up in a human jail?"

"By the looks of it, you guys have struggled out of worse situations before...if you've delt with vampires and the authourities, a few humans shouldn't be a problem...right?"

"Hm." she sighed,"Well, that is a plan...it's the only one we've got so far."

"Unless you four can think of anything better, than I'd be glad to hear it." Dalamir said to them all.

"I don't want to go to jail," Dimitri said automatically.

" 'I've been to jail before, it wasn't that bad'." Melody quoted him, turning to Dimitri,"Just shows that people can change." she said, off topic.

Rayan sighed,"We won't...our stealth skills are far too high as to fail to simply sneaking into a human city." he said, trying to be reassuring. Of course, he was unsure himself.

"..." Dimitri shot Melody a look "I lied, I hated it," he hissed at her before turning to Rayan "And then what? Hide out in a sewer?"

Melody sighed, and Rayan smiled sheepishly,"Um...yeah...!"

Dimitri's face fell "Ugh... Fine..."

Rayan's face brightened,"Then it's settled?"

Before anyone could answer, Dalamir cut in,"Good."

Melody felt a growl rise in her throat, and her urge to strangle to older elf rose as well. She closed her eyes, and made a rather loud whining sound, storming ahead, and mutturing dark strings of profanity to supress her violent needs.

Dimitri hissed some ebon insult as he trod on behind Melody, finding with sick pleasure he was fingering his gun absently.

Rayan looked on helplessly behind them. His expression fell, and he went on forward, passing his older brother,"You're so bossy, chasing all my friends away..." he muttured as he passed, sounding somewhat juvenile.

Dalamir blinked, as his brother went on ahead. He watched after Rayan, and grumbled something, following on behind everyone else.

Dimitri sighed, taking care not to be at the front of the group, but not at the back either. Reasons unknown to him he continued to dread the thought of being behind bars.

Melody kept ahead of them all, simply because pacing quickly blew off stem. Her eyes trailed around the familiar forest, and she stopped again,"...I refuse to go through Dorämi again..."

"Then we won't." Dalamir called from behind.

Her ears picked up his voice, and her gaze suddenly turned to Rayan,"I thought you said the only way to get to the city was through Dorami!" she snapped.

Rayan blinked at her, and gave an irritable look to her. He shot the same look to his brother,"Well, that's what I was told..."

Dalamir eyed the both of them for a while, and shook his head,"Sorry, kid." he said to Rayan,"There's an underground route."

"Under... ground?!" Dimitri turned his head to look at them "Like... without... sky... and air...?" he twitched horribley and his wings stiffened as if frozen solid.

Dalamir looked to Dimitri,"Yeah." he replied.

Melody blinked, and noticed Dimitri's uncontrolable twitching,"What, you claustrophobic or something?"

He flicked his eyes toward her "Why would you assume that?" his voice slipping to high pitched squeak as the sentence progressed. He cleared his throat irritabley.

She cocked her head,"Um, well, for one thing, your voice is course, and you're twitching like there's no tomorrow."

Dimitri's lips pursed and he glanced back at his twitching wings and promptly punched the left one. They stopped. "Heh heh... claustrophobic..." he grinned crookedly, eyes wavering "I am not claustrophobic," he laughed nervously.

Melody watched him for a while, and smiled, sparing him of further interrogation,"Whatever you say." she said, continuing on her way.

Rayan snickered under his breath.

Dimitri shot him a look, which didn't come out very nicely considering he was as stiff as a board as he walked.

Rayan contained a laugh, then sighed, following on behind Dimitri.

Dalamir rolled his eyes, and looked annoying ahead,'This is gonna be a bumpy ride...'

Hours Later...

Melody panted heavily, and looked up to the mouth of a cave like tunnel,"I'm assuming..." Pant,"We're here...?"

Dalamir nodded, and eyed the tunnel,"Yeah." he replied nonchalantly.

"Meep," Dimitri eyed the gaping hole and twitched "..."

Rayan smirked from behind, and snuck behind the angel. With a quick motion, he pinched both of his sides with his hand jokingly,"HUAH!"

"AH!!" Dimitri's next position was him crouching on the ground, covering his bowed head with one arm and the other blindly pointing his gun randomly. "..." he made a whimpering noise.

Dalamir burst out laughing, and looked down to Dimitri,"You're more cowardice than I assumed."

Melody shot a look to both Dalamir and Rayan, and sighed. Rayan suddenly felt guilty, he didn't expect Dimitri's reaction to be like that.

"Sorry, Dim..." he said, suddenly sheepish like he usually was.

Dimitri slowly raised his head to blink up at Rayan, face drained of all colour. "..." he blinked again, and hearing Dalamir's laughing he growled and stood erect. "..." he sighed, putting his gun back in it's holster, wings drooping.

Melody eyed him for a while, and walked on in,"You okay, Dim?" she asked, still walking on ahead.

Dalamir and Rayan soon followed in after her.

"Yes," he hissed, glaring at the walls while rubbing his arms subconsciously "I just.. don't.. .like... ..." he trailed off "...These kinds of places..."

Melody drew back, and gestured for Dalamir to lead them the rest of the way. He smirked, and did so with a snide expression on. She walked backwards to Dimitri,"Meh, we'll be out of here soon." she looked up to Dalamir,"Right?"

"Ah, yes, right..." Liar. Dalamir kept walking, erect and alert.

Melody smiled,"Good then."

"..." Dimitri gripped Melody's arm like it was his lifeline as he walked on the cold stone. "Y-You sure...?" he asked, recoiling when a rat scurried by his foot.

"Hmm?" the hanyou blinked to Dimitri, and smiled,"Yeah, just as sure as Dalamir." she turned from the fear struck angel to the snide elf ahead of them all,"And you ARE sure, right?" she called out. A small growl rose in her throat,'He damn well better be...'

Melody saw him nod,"Yes, yes, I'm sure, stop doubting me." he hissed over his shoulder.

Melody sighed,"There."

"Ok-kay...AGH!" he slammed his foot down on the third rat that went by him. He narrowed his eyes at the gore seeping under his shoe heel "There..." he said shakily, wings curling abit around his form as he continued walking.

Melody looked down at the remains of the creature, and nearly gagged. She sighed, as she continued walking,"Ah, yes, nothing to worry about."

"No reason to be scared, Dimmy." Rayan said from ahead,"Anyways, you got us around!" he turned to them, and smiled brightly.

Dimitri looked up from the ground to gaze at Rayan. He smiled abit, the gesture looking very out of place against his pale and sunken face. "T-Thanks Rayan," he said.

Rayan's smile widened, and he winked,"No probs." he turned back ahead, then up to Abi,"You seem to be doing okay..." he smiled again, then turned his gaze to his brother,"Question-- if the city is floating, how are we gonna get there?"?"

Dalamir sighed,"I got everything planned, stop worrying." he snapped.

Rayan drew back, and nodded," 'Kay..." he paused for a while,"...Dalamir?"

He finally turned to his younger brother,"...I'm trusting you, 'kay?"

Dalamir eyed his brother for a while, and nodded slowly," 'Kay."

"Mel-- Melody," Dimitri tugged on her arm a little as he crept behind her.

"Hm?" she turned to Dimitri,"Yeah?"

"C-Could there be a... a cave in...?" he asked cautiously, lip trembling.

Melody looked around, and bit her lip,"Don't worry-- it seems rather sturdy. Anyways, this won't take very long..." 'I hope.'

"..." He gripped her arm so hard he feared he'd cut off the blood circulation, but he was too preoccupied with stone walls to care "And there aren't any.... like... doors that can be locked from... the outside...?"

Melody shook her head,"No, there's nothing like that. Just two big gaping holes that anyone can fit through." she smiled reassuringly,"Don't worry about a thing, we'll be fine."

"..." he made a noise like an ostrich choking on granola in his throat very briefly, and proceeded with curling his wings around his face so he looked like a goose hanging in a store window, feathers falling off the limbs stressingly.

The hanyou looked over to Dimitri, and watched his feathers fall down to the stone floor. She supressed laughter asmuch as she could, as the angel clung onto her arm,"...I said not to worry, didn't I?" Melody said, twitched her ears,"The more you worry, the more creepier this place is gonna become. Just relax..." she winked,"Nothing can hurt the great Dimitri. You faced off with a freaking vampire, a cave and a few half-ass rats aren't gonna kill you." she said reassuringly.

"Well yeah, but Kaine wasn't cavernous..." his voice coming out muffled.

Melody sighed,"Yeah, well, the cave can't kill us." she looked forward to Dalamir,'You better be right, pal...' she thought. She breathed in deeply, then exhaled loudly,"As I said, we'll be fine." there was some light wheezing in her voice, but barely noticable.

"... Uh huh..." Dimitri peered between feathers, looking up at her then forward "... How much longer is this God damn cave?!"

Dalamir blinked again, and sighed irritably, turning to Dimitri,"Be patient, dammit." he hissed, obviously getting impatient with the fear struck and cowering angel.

Dimitri glared at him through white fluffiness, coming out not looking so well. He sighed "Couldn't we have walked over the cave?"

"Yeah, and get skinned alive by the inhabitants of Dormämi." Rayan added.

Dimitri sighed, retreating to the comfort of his wings "Fine..."

Melody looked between the three of them for a while, and shook her head, twitching her ears in annoyance,'How long will we have to live with this shit...?!' she cleared her throat, not really managing anything in the end.

Dimitri blinked "See? Melody's getting sick from this hellhole!" he added the comment for the pleasure of annoying Dalamir.

Dalamir snarled, and glared at said person,"Feh..." he looked onward, and kept walking on ahead.

Rayan began to sink a bit, with Abi still on his back.

Melody looked at Dimitri for a while, and scratched her head sheepishly,"Eheh..."

Dimitri's eyes narrowed at the cavernous prison. He sighed again, retreating back to his feathers.

Dalamir halted to a stop at a fork in their path. Rayan blinked, and looked through all three tunnels leading in seperate directions,

"Crap." Rayan sighed,"Yay..."

Melody eyed the three passageways carefully,"Which way do we go?" her eyes narrowed sharply at the leading elf,"I don't wanna be stuck in here any longer."

Dalamir stared on ahead, deep in thought. Without a word, he headed towards the left path.

Rayan nodded, and followed obidiently.

Melody inhaled another wheezy breath, and sighed, continuing on. She tried clearing her throat again, but to no avail.

Dimitri peered at her through his feathers, shoving the thought that they might be taking the wrong way to the back of his mind "You okay?"

The hanyou blinked to him, and smiled briefly- due to the fact that it was interrupted by a short and heavy coughing fit. She swallowed, then nodded,"Yeah, I'm fine." she replied, voice dry and coarse.

Dimitri sniffed, blinking at her "... I'm not stupid, Melody,"

Her eyes narrowed slightly at him, and she snarled, only to result in another cough,"It's just a cough, I'll be fine." she hissed.

Dimitri sighed heavily, looking forward again. Immedietly regreting it and covered his face in feathers again.

Melody shook her head, and looked onwards as well.

Dalamir stopped again, and squinted his eyes, as light began to emit from afar.

Rayan's face brightened,"The exit, thank God!"

"YES!!" Dimitri let go of Melody's arm, leaving the imprint of his hand there and dashed at unnatural speeed toward the light.

Melody staggered back a while, and smiled. A tingling sensation filled her arms, as they were still numb. She looked at the now white flesh in annoyance, and sighed, rubbing it carefully,"Whew...I almost doubted you there, Dalamir." she flashed a smile at him, then ran on after Dimitri.

Rayan blinked, and ran on after Melody, trying to hang onto Abi,"Eheh!"

Dalamir watched as the four younger individuals were off ahead, keeping at the pace that he was the whole trip.

Dimitri lept out of the cave, tumbling to the ground and smiling happily, gripping the grass and looking at the sky.

Once Melody and Rayan had reached the mouth of the cave, they both cocked their heads at Dimitri. Melody smiled again, worried that if she'd laugh, she'd break out into a coughing fit.

Rayan looked up at the sky, and twitched his elven ears happily,"I never realised that the sky was so bright and blue..."

Dimitri was busy humming some meaningless tune as he swayed slightly, marveling at the gem above him.

"Eheh..." Melody kicked a random stone, and smiled, as a gentle breeze flew through the air,"YAY! Wind!" she did a little victory dance to herself.

Dimitri hugged his knees, wings twitching happily. He sighed contentedly.

Dalamir blinked at the celebrating youth, and snarled, pressing path them and, and going forth,"Enough celebrating, we're not out of the gutter yet."

Melody froze in an awkward position, and glared at Dalamir, following quiertly again,"Brighten up, God..."

Dimitri blinked at him then rolled over backwards, getting up and folllowing after "Whatever,"
