Melody walked slowly into town, a few side merchants trying to sell their items to her from afar. She heaved a sigh of asggrivation and disdain, and waved to them dismissively,"Stupid..." she muttured.

"Don't even look at them..." Dimitri mumbled beside her.

Melody stared at him for a few seconds, and sighed,"It's hard not to..." she mumbled back at him,"They're waving this shit at my faces..."

"I dare you to say that again, wench!!" one of the merchants yelled.

Melody turned to him, and shot a glare at him,"Put your shit away and shut your damn trap!!" she gave an aggrivated noise, and stormed ahead,"Hmpf..."

Dimitri shot the finger at the merchant and followed quickly after her.

Melody growled inwardly, kicking a can on the ground, looking around,"Where the hell can I find a medic...or a medical store...something medical...heh heh, medics..."

"umm...that way"fleance pointed to a road


She blinked, and looked to where Fleance pointed. Melody nodded,"Thank you, Fleance." she said, beginning to walk.

Dimitri followed her suite, nodding to Fleance.

She stretched, and looked back to Dimitri,"You still holding up with the wound?"

"I'm walking ain't I?"

She heaved a sigh,"Okay then..." Melody kept looking around. Her face brightened when she saw a faded Red cross on a white background. She snorted obnoxiously,"Wow, they still use 'The Red Cross' after all these years..."

"They still use cuss words after all these years..." Dimitri grumbled looking over her shoulder at the building.

Melody shot him a look, and spat on the ground, beginning to walk towards the building,"C'mon. They'll fix you up there." she walked over to the building, and twitched, as she saw the sign on the door,'Closed.' her face fell,"...What the hell?!" she snapped,"WHY THE HELL IS A MEDICAL CENTER CLOSED?!" she read a bit further, and hew jaw dropped,"...!!"

'The Kuroi government has closed this facility...'

Her fist clenched,"...Damn him! DAMN KUROI AND ALL HIS LITTLE POSSES!!"

Dimitri cursed angrily and excessively under his breath, glaring with all hatred at the sign.

Melody scratched the side of her neck,"Agh, this is just great..."

"What do we do now...?" Dimitri asked through gritted teeth.

Melody looked around feebly,"Um...maybe we can get a room at the inn or something. They probably have medical staff there..." she snarled,"Unless stupid Kuroi banned anything neutral from the building..."

"Aye..." Dimitri nodded and turned, limping along looking around for an inn.

Melody stretched, and followed suite, walking beside him.

"You know any places?"

"Erm...like, one. But poor Fleance would probably get kicked out...the place is called 'Heaven's Door'." She sighed.

Dimitri smirked "I could get him in,"

Melody cocked her head,"...okay then." she pointed eastwards,"That way!"

"Okie dokie..." Dimitri walked slowly in the direction her clawed finger pointed.

Her ears twitched upwards slightly, and sighed, as she walked.

Melody stopped around ten feet in front of the inn. She sighed, staring into the keg which resided right beside it,"If we do get in, it's gonna one hell of a night..." her ears twitched irritably at the loud noises of high and drunk men.

Dimitri's eye twitched irritibly. "Come on..." he started at the door.

Melody ran ahead of him, and held the door open. She smiled slightly,"Angels first."

Dimitri gave her a look but entered the inn.

Melody followed suite. Her eyes scanned the main lobby, until she found the check-in desk, and walked towards it.

The elven innkeeper was reading a book called 'Pieces of the Sun: A Guide to Astrology', as Melody hit a bell several times,"Excuse me...?"

The elf flipped a page, as if nothing was there.

Her rears twitched irritably, as she hit the bell again,"Excuse me...:"

Flip.

Melody's fist clenched,"EXCUSE ME!!" she outbursted.

The innkeeper peered up from his book, and gave Melody a look,"... ... yessum?"

A low growl rose in her throat,"...can we get a room, please..."

He put his book down, and tapped the edge of his glasses, eyeing them all,"...a wounded angel, a vampire, and a dog hanyou...do you realise what this leads me to believe?"

Melody arched a brow,"You got a problem with us?"

He pointed to Fleance,"You, notice the sign? 'Heaven's Door'. I don't think a vampire fits into this picture..." his eyes glanced to Melody,"And the girl here has one big mouth." they turned to Dimitri,"...why on earth are you hanging out with these losers?"

Melody tried her best to supress her anger, which resulted with weird,"Mmmggghhh..." sounds.

Dimitri's gun was out in a second, pointed at the elf between the eyes. "Don't play posh-ass fag with me, elf," he clicked his gun "Buisiness is my own with these two, I haven't blown their heads off yet. Now shut-up, and get us a room,"

The elf flinched slightly, as the barrel of the gun pressed into his forehead. He shook slightly, and reached over to a rack of keys, and handed them over to Dimitri,"...r-room A-21, sir..."

"ook.....comon let's go"Fleance said (Bye gotta go and be a TROUBLEMAKER at 'Scouts" -_-" BUt it's FUN FUN FUN!heheheh mainly cause I reack havit!(sp))

Dimitri eyed the keys awhile, keeping the gun in place. He was relishing the feeling of the elf in fright but snatched the keys and lowered his gun. He smirked evilly "Feh..." he shoved the keys in his pocket and gve the elf a dirty look, before spitting on the desk spitefully. He turned "Come on," he returned his gun to it's respected holster and grabbed both Melody and Fleance by the wrists and dragged them down the hallway.


Fleance shaked off Dimitri's hand "ow..you have a tight grip" he said rubbing his arm.He looked around and saw the Room A-21 "theres the room"

"Good," Dimitri marched over and wedged the key in forcefully, kicking the door open. He looked around the dark musty room. "Just like that dick... give us the worst room..." he flicked on the light and travelled the short distance to a miniscule bookshelf, where he busied himself by observing the book titles.

"well...uhh I could get used to this..kidna reminds me of my place"Fleance sighed "theres two beds...Dimitri u can sleep on that one Melody you can sleep on the other ,I'll take the couch"

"I'll take the couch, I don't like beds," Dimitri said from behind a book "You go ahead Fleance,"

"oh ok"Fleance said (is it night time?)

(Sure is) Dimitri nodded and replaced the book back gently.

"Wel I got some uh buisness to attend to so I'll see ya guys klater"Fleance waved good bye and headed out the door

Melody blinked as he left, and gave an absent,"Bye..." she sat on the bed, and rubbed her reddened wrist, and sighed, plopping backwards onto the bed's sheets. She stared at the roughed up ceiling, and coughed, ears twitching,"God, this place is full of dust!"

"Grab a duster and start cleaning, princess," Dimitri growled from behind another book.


Melody shot a look at Dimitri, and sat up. She snarled, and got up,"Actually, I think I will." she said, getting up and looking around,"It's not like there's anything better to do..." she pulled  out a hankerchief out from her shirt, and dusted it halfheartedly over random shelves. She looked to Dimitri, buried behind books,"You like reading, huh?"

"Sure do," he replied peering over the top of the book.

She sighed, and kept dusting,"That's good." Melody said, ears twitching. She grumbled lowly; she wasn't the best at engaging in friendly conversation.

"You know, I was being sarcastic when I asked you to dust..."

Melody shrugged,"I know." she replied,"But I wasn't gonna sit there and let my ears form dust on itself...makes a good home for fleas. Something I don't exactly want." she sighed, and sat over on the bed,"Anyways..." she looked up to him,"So you're with heaven in all this, right?"

Dimitri twitched a wing.

Melody blinked, looking to his wings,"...right."

"Yes, I am with Heaven in all of this," he said, clearly irritated that the two large, white, useless wings protruding from his back weren't enough answer.

Her ears twitched, as she turned slightly red, returning to her useless dusting,"Sorry. Stupid question..."

"So... you're one of those Heru Mitsukai kids, right?"

Melody paused, and nodded gravely,''That's right...'' she sighed.

"Sucks to be you,"

Melody shot Dimitri and look, and snarled,"I know..." she shifted slightly,"It does. I'd join heaven if I could...but evil demon runs through my veins." she smiled,"And anyways, I can't handle a day without all my cussing...and no way am I going to hell."

"Your just one little pesky piece of work, ain't you?"

Melody smirked,''Aww yeah!"

Dimitri looked over the top of the book back at her "Mmhmm...'

She gave him a long stare,"Heh, you're pretty strange yourself...a bit sadistic for your regular angel."

Dimitri watched her a while. He then returned the book to the shelf gently and wiped his hand on his pants before speaking "...Yes..."

"Then we're even."

"How so? I'm holy, you're not,"

Melody shot him a glare,"Hey, just because I'm not holy doesn't mean I'm not as decent as you."

"But you aren't decent," he smirked.

She growled inwardly, and sighed,"...Feh."

"Exactly,"

Melody moaned slightly, and plopped onto her back, staring at the ceiling again,"Fine, you're right. I'll probably end up working at some whore house..." she snickered,"Or even worse, working for Kuroi Gaide..."

"I wouldn't say that..." he flipped a page "I think you're smarter than to become a cock sucking thunder cunt,"

Melody burst out laughing,"Yeah, you're probably right.."

"And you're far too spiteful to work for Kuroi-I-have-a-whore-wedged-up-my-ass-Gaide,"

She snickered again, and flipped her hair behind her back,"Hell yeah...I hate his guts anyways." she stretched,"So anyways... you ever met his brother? The heavenly big shot?" she bit her lip in thought,"Erm...Bara? God, what's up with these people and their japanese first names..."

Dimitri sighed "Unfortunately, no..."

Melody blinked,"Oh. Well, he's probably more decent than his brother...or at least less powerhungry. Plus, he doesn't have a whore wedged up his ass."

Dimitri smirked "Probably...''

She smiled slightly,"Anyways, you still holding up with that wound?"

Dimitri looked down at his gut "Oh... yeah," he put his hand over the wound "Bullet's still in there..." he hand glowed faintly and he winced when the bullet removed itself from his insides and through the bandages to his hand. He clutched it and let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

Melody sat up, and cocked her head at the process,"...you okay?"

"Mmmhmm..." Dimitri discarded the bullet over his shoulder.

She blinked, and looked to her feet,"Alright then...you should really get some rest. We had a hard time just getting here."

"Thanks..." Dimitri stood, and hobbled over to the couch and lay down on it slowly, adjusting his wings uncomfortabely with the new position.

Melody sighed, and plopped onto the dirty pillow, not bothering to get under the covers, in fear of getting bitten by bugs or mites in the dust. She rolled onto her side, and looked to Dimitri,"G'night, Dim."

"... Dim?" he shook his head "G'night Mel,"

Melody smiled, and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. She slowly dozed off.

The Next Morning...

The dim glow of morning light seeped slowly through the roughly curtained windows. Melody opened her eyes half way, and blinked them open. She sat up slowly, and stretched, yawning softly, and rubbing her eye with the back of her hand. She looked to Dimitri, and smiled. The morning light shining off of his angelic figure made him look more heavenly than he was with his awake, and sadistic features. She sighed, looking around,Fleance isn't back yet...I hope he's okay. Vampire's don't do so well during the day...

Dimitri mumbled something in his sleep, before twitching. His wings subconcsiously covered his face, protecting it from and offending light.

Melody ears twitched, and she looked to Dimitri. She got up slowly, and walked over to him, taking a seat on the floor in front of the couch. She blinked at him,"Should I wake him up...?" she said quietly to herself. She poked slightly at his feathery wings.

Fleance was in the windowless bathroom do to the light in the other room he was hudled in a cornor cloack over him se he wipped her bloody hands on his clock.


Melody's ears twitched softly, and she turned to the bathroom door. She sense his presence in the small hotel room, and sighed, walking to the door and knocking on it,"Fleance, you alright in there...?" she asked quietly.

"Ya I'm fine...it's the only room without a window..."Fleance said

Melody nodded,"Alright then...just call if you need anything."

"Well...could you clsoe the curtains?or cover them up or something?the bathroom is very small...."Fleance said

"Aye, alright..." Melody walked beside the couch, and carefully vclosed the curtain's. She sighed,"Safe to come out..."

"Are....you sure?"Fleance asked slitly opening the door

Melody looked over the room; not sunlight was coming through the windows,"Yes, I'm sure."

"ok"Fleance opened the door more and walked out still covered in his cloack "Ah...much better"He walked over to a chair and sat him self down

Melody's eyes traveled as he moved to the chair. She sighed, and looked to Dimitri for a while,"...I should wake him up. That innkeeper could've called in autorities- especially after that little incident last night," she strode over to Dimitri and blinked several times, not sure how to wake the sadistic creature up. She tugged at his wings a few times,"Dimitri?"

The wings twitched unnervingly, seemingly having a mind of their own and only being attached to his body, and the one nearest Melody lashed out and caught her in the forehead.

Dimitri slept on quietly.


"MEEP!" Melody squealed, high pitched. She winced slightly, and poked at his wing irritably,"Damn it all...!" she whispered hoarsely. She looked to Dimitri again, and put a gentle hand on his shoulder, gently shaking him,"Dim...ii...trii..."

"Mmmhmm....go...away..." his arm lifted and dropped on her face in a feeble attempt to push her away.

"KYAH!" Melody squealed again. She shoved his arm out of her face, and sighed irritably,"Wake up!"

Dimitri opened one eye slowly and glared at her, which, though he was still in a state of sleepiness, was deathly dark.

"What?"

Melody arched a brow at him, inside aumsed at his sudden dark turn,"Sorry, but we gotta get moving, sleeping beauty."

Dimitri smirked shadily, keeping his glare "I am a Sleeping Beauty, ain't I?" he pulled his jacket over his head "I can't believe that term has lived so long..."

"Hn." Melody sighed, and got up, giving him a light kick,"Feh. Hurry up, before that innkeeper'll get the authorities on our asses..."

"Why...?" his voice came muffled and sleepy.


Melody looked at him irritably,"Do you wanna get your feathery ass thrown in jail?" she hissed at him, putting her hands on her hips,"If not, I suggest you get up,"

"I've been to jail before... it ain't bad," he refused to get up.

"Well I haven't," she snapped at him,"And if you haven't noticed, I'm a freaking wanted. I don't think I'd ENJOY all these heavenly freaks telling me all this crap?"

"Well I suppose you aren't enjoying this conversation then..." he smirked tiredly and closed his eyes again.

Melody let out an aggirvated groan, and snapped, grabbing a pillow from the bed, and threw it in his face,"We're leaving right now, Dimitri!!"

"Agh..." Dimitri brushed the pillow away and rolled ungracefully off of the couch, landing with a loud thump on the floor.

Melody gave him a weird look, as he thumped against the floor,"Smart..." she rolled her eyes, and dragged him upwards.

"The lady is right we should go considering that I'm a vampire, and your little insadent with the innekeepr"fleance said

Dimitri looked up to the ceiling, sighing "Ya okay..." he shrugged.

Melody smiled triumphantly,"Heh heh, good!" her ears twitched slightly, as booming steps approached the room in the hall,"...yep. They're coming- and we're screwed."

"Jump out the window"Fleance said before smashing the windoe with a wooden chair and jumped out getting his wrist slitely burned from the sun

"KYAH!!" Melody's head popped out the window, as Fleance descended,"Fleance...!!" she bit her lip, in fear that he would get sick if he stayed out too long. She grabbed a blanket from the bed, and stuffed it into her bag,"Dimitri, get ready to fly...without your wings..." she followed on after Fleance, jumping out. A long scream trailed and faded.

Dimitri looked down out the window, cautiously. He had never liked heights... in fact he hated them, and without his wings he couldn't mae a proper descent. Biting his lip and looking back to the door where the banging was heard against the wood of it, he growled deeply. They were breaking his nerves

"Shut up..." he flipped out his gun and shot randomly at the door. Hearing a grunt of pain he figured he had hit someone... though he had also blown the door knob off, and the door flew open, falling off it's hinges to reveal four very angry figures standing there.

He glowered and jumped out the window accordingly.

Fleance landed with a thud one kneen of the ground as he looked at his wrist "crap...."

"Nyaaaaaaaahh!!!" Melody's scream was heard from far below (above in Fleance's case).

"...I hate my life," the young elven stuck another roof tile in his mouth, and acsended the ladder. As he reached the roof, he wiped his forehead, dripping in sweat.

"By the time I get back, I expect a fully shingled roof, Ray!!"

He growled, and stuck his finger up at his older brother as he left.The young man stuck the single onto the roof, and began hammering angrily,"Stupid...brother..." Bam bam,"Thinks he can boss me around...feh he just did..." Click click. "Rayan...Tael'eatha..." Tick tick,"Infamous delinquent, blacksmith, and roof shingler..." Rayan smiled triumphantly, looking at the patched up roof,"Five damn hours...finally done."

"....nyeeeerrrrrgghhh!!" Crash,"Owwwww...." Melody thuded loudly into the roof, as Rayan watched appalled,

"..."

Dimitri looked up, agrivatingly "Melody! We need to go!"

"Oh, God..." Melody ran her fingers through her hair, and looking upwards to see the whole she made,"...Oops." she got up, and brushed herself off, walking out of the newly tiled house. She sighed, looking to Dimitri, and the stricken elven, runing red,"...Sorry."

Rayan twitched slightly,"...AGH!"

"No time for chit chat they know where we are"Fleance said and grabbed Melody's wrist and um ran down an alley!ya!=D

Rayan watched stricken, as the two of them ran off,"...Eh? What? Ooh, so you think that you can just walk away after five damn hours of blood, sweat, and tears!!" Of course, he was exagerating- very un-elven like. He sighed aggrivated , flipping his long hair backm and blinking to Dimitri,"...what was that?"

Dimitri blinked up at Rayan, he would've floated up there and gotten a better look at him, but considering his incapability to use his wings, he remained on the ground. "Um..." he shifted "I called Melody..." he said this as if it was the most obvious thing in the world... which it just might be "Sorry about your roof,"

Rayan looked to the smashed shingles, and sighed,"It's fine. I'll just tell my bro' that some hanyou chick fell from the sky and crashed into my roof...fun!" he looked up the the smashed inn windows, and his eyes widened at the four figures looking down,"Um...?"

"BLEH!" Melody yelped as Fleance dragged her,"God, slow down!! Dim's still back there."

Dimitri turned his head to look where Melody and Fleance ahd run off to. He waved a hand dismissively and turned back to Rayan "Can I come up?"

Fleance stopped and sigh.He let go of Melody's hand and went back to Dimitri "There going to follow us if you don't hurry"

Rayan looked to Fleance then to Dimitri, looking awfully confused.

Dimitri looked lightly at Fleance "They're going to follow you and Melody. I on the other hand am perfectly safe, I'm an angel after all," he said this last pert in mock ego, before climbing up the side of the house wall quickly and promptly sitting beside Rayan "Hello,"

Rayan looked to Dimitri,"Um, hello there." he replied,"...may I ask why you three were subdued to jumping out a window?"

Melody looked back the direction that Fleance ran back to, and sighed, beginning to walk ahead,"Feh..." her eyes darted to the bright sky, eyes squinting,"At least the vampires aren't out..."

Fleance sighed and walked back to Melody "Comon"he said

She moaned slightly, and followed.

"I'll catch up!" Dimitri called to them before turning back to Rayan "Authority problems," he replied smoothly.

Rayan looked at him like he was a bit of an oddity,"Um, alright...?" the conversation was somewhat pleasant for him, even though it was short and random- he didn't get to talk to people much,"...bye?"

Dimitri smiled slightly and leaned back "Not much of a talker are you? S'okay, I wasn't either... well I still don't talk much, but I'm slightly nicer than I was," he shook his head, before sticking out his hand "Dimitri Wesley..." he sighed "Just Dimitri,"

Rayan shook his hand, and smiled slightly,"Rayan Tael-...Rayan. Forget about the last name...too long."

"Wesley's not my last name, it's a second part of my first name... But I prefer the first part..." he smirked "I wanna hear your last name, as long as it's not french I'm happy..."

He chuckled half-heartedly,"Rayan Tael'eatha,"

"Nice," he smirked "Varret..." his French accent droned dully in the name.

Rayan nodded,"Hey, it's not that bad...if you don't drag the accent so much." he tried making the talk lighthearted.

"Think I can help it? My father was totally Parisian..." he sighed running a hand through his hair. "Well... At least I sound good with this stupid accent... better than Russian... and I sound alot better than I did years ago, ever since I quit smoking and drinking... ..." he trailed off as of remembering an incident, but shook his head irritably and turned to Rayan.

"So.. why were you shingling this roof?"

He sighed, and looked to the giant hole that resided in the roof,"Because it's my roof."

"Oh Lord..." Dimitri winced at the hole "Sorry 'bout that..."

Rayan shrugged,"Forget about it, Dimitri." he said, smiling warmly,"I'll fix it later. My brother's left to do his buisness again, so I got another day or two."

Dimitri sighed again, seemingly becoming a habit for him, and stood up, hobbling over to the hole and looking down at it. He held his side absent-mindedly and turned to Rayan "Do you know any angels?"

He looked upwards in thought,"Other than yourself, no." he replied, looking to Dimitri.

Dimitri looked back at his twitching wings and narrowed his eyes at the incapability of them. "Pretty angelic, ain't I?" he sighed "Kay, well then do have any antibiotics?"

Rayan got up, and strode over to the hole, hopping down into his house,"Yes,I do," he said,"That is, as long as this Melody didn't squish them."

"She ain't that big," Dimitri said dropping beside him, and looking around the house. He smiled to himself and hobbled over to a chair, sitting down gracefully.

Rayan walked over to a wooden cabinet, and fished through the drawers,"Antibiotics, antibiotics...yep!"

Dimitri sighed, relieved. Despite all the pain he had put up with in his many years of existence, the throbbing was getting to him "Thank-you,"

Rayan grabbed the small bottle, and clanked it around a bit, throwing it to Dimitri,"Take the whole bottle with ya. My brother's a freak...we got more medical supplies than food."

Dimitri took the bottle gratefully and downed 6 pills at once.

Rayan laughed,"Good Lord, you must be desperate."

Dimitri nodded and set the pills down, "I got shot, it hurts..."

He blinked, and eyed him up and down,"Oh...sorry, I didn't know." he saw little splotches of blood that sept through his shirt,"Didn't get much of a dressing job, huh?"

Dimitri shrugged one shoulder "My nurse was Melody so you can imagine the acute job she did..."

Rayan laughed lightly,"Don't blame the girl...she was probably only rushing because she cared." he said.

Dimitri smiled alittle "Yeah I guess..." he looked as if he was remembering something that happened along time ago.

Rayan looked at him, and noted his look of thought,"Looking back on something?" he asked promptly.

Dimitri nodded slowly, then shook his head. "I was just... She reminds me of someone I knew, that's all..."

He nodded,"Ah, I see...heh, that's pretty cool."

From a distance, a loud,"DIMITRIIII!" was heard. Melody stormed back to the house where she crashed through, and sighed, standing in the doorway,"What are-" she looked to Rayan then up at the hole in the ceiling. Her face flushed red,"...I'm really sorry."

Dimitri looked up at Melody and sighed "Alright, I'm coming... Just taking some pills is all," he stood and smiled warmly (which was a rarity for him) at Rayan "Hey, thanks kid,"

Rayan smiled back,"Heh, your welcome." he looked to Melody,"Hey, it's no problem. Forget about it, kay?" he winked.

Melody sighed in relief,"Alright then...if I can make it up to you," she said,"Look out for a certain dog hanyou named Melody." she smiled, and started to walk, gesturing for Dimitri to come,"Let's hurry- before Fleance starts literally melting." she made a sweet, and somewhat familiar smile, and walked on ahead.

Rayan waved,"See you around..."

Dimitri looked after her, brows furrowed din thought. He gave one last smile and wave to Rayan before reluctantly following her out the door.

Melody hummed slightly, stretching, looking out to the sun. She breathed the fresh morning air, twitching her ears,"So, holding up, Dim?" she asked, turning to him, scratching the side of her neck.

Dimitri nodded slowly "Yeah..." then randomly he stalked up to her and grabbed the end of her hair, examining the colour scheme. His eyes narrowed angrily and he threw the hair away "I'm fine," he crosed his arms, thinking.

Melody blinked at him, confused, stroking the strand of her hair that he threw back,"...what was that for?" she asked, looking to him worridly.

"Nothing!" he spat angrily, his memory not working with him today.

She flinched back slightly, and her worried look turned to one of annoyance,"God, I'm sorry for caring...I ask a simple question, and you just-" Melody waved her arms around, spazzing out slightly, and gave a sigh of aggrivation.

Dimitri glowered and shook his head "Sorry, I just feel like I have amnesia today..."

Melody looked to him for a while, and smiled,"Heh, it's fine. I guess I'm a bit tempremental..." she said,"What, did I remind you of something?"

Dimitri eyed her a moment "Yes," he said bluntly "Cept the ears,"

She grinned,"Really?" Melody twitched her hanyou ears,"Heh, that's nice to know...um...what was she like?"

He looked up to the sky in thought "Erm... well she was loud... swore alot... but nice..." he scratched his head "Rabid stalker, but in a good way," he laughed shortly "Yeah... don't even remember her name..."

Melody laughed slightly, pacing around a bit,"Heh, sounds like me..." her eyes shifted a while,"Ahem...except maybe not the rabid stalker part." she smirked.

Dimitri rubbed his arm "Yeah..." he was desperately searching his mind for why he had used that term.

She eyed him for a while, and blinked,"You sure you're okay, Dim?" Melody asked, noting him rubbing his arm.

"Huh? Yeah... Yeah," he shook his head desperately "Great, this is gonna be bugging me forever... and I have that much time! Gah!..." he grimaced.

Melody looked at him for a while. Sure, she knew he died- but he noted how youthful he was. He died young. If he'd only lived around twenty years, that must've already seemed like forever...now he has all eternity to make it through. She sighed,"Don't worry, Dimitri. It'll all come back to you eventually." she winked.

"Mmhm..." he said working through a small tangle in his hair.

She sighed, and threw her hair behind her back, continuing to walk. Melody looked to the sky, trailing back to Fleance,'Dimitri...maybe I knew him in a previous life.' she shrugged to herself,'Hmm...who knows...',"Fleaaaaance!!" Melody called out.

Fleance popped his head out from the darkness of an alley "There you are..."He said under his cloak.

Melody sighed,"Good, you're not bubbling up. Let's keep moving- we've lost the authourities for now, but they might catch up..."

Dimitri smirked, pulling out his gun and spinning it on his finger "I can take care of them... heh heh-" the gun flew off his finger, hit the ground, shot a bullet and hit a nearby bird in the sky. "...That always happens..."

Melody flinched back, and looked at him awkwardly,"Heh...yay..."

Dimitri bent down and picked up his gun, eying it "I need a new gun..."

Melody looked at it carefully,"No shit...spin that thing around your finger again, and expect a whole through your forehead."

"Dammit, that always happens..." he shook his head angrily and shoved the weapon back in it's holster. Tugging at his jacket he turned to Melody "So. Where to?

Melody blinked, and looked around,"Um..." she scratched the side of her neck,"Heh, I didn't really plan anything..."

"So I left a perfectly good house with antibiotics, for nothing?" he asked, slightly disgruntled.

Melody gave him a dulled look,"Hey, those jack asses were gonna rain down on us any moment, what else would you've done?" she said,"Use your cruddy gun to shoot holes in the walls instead of their faces?"

His eyes narrowed dangerously and his gun was out in a second, pointed at her. "You wanna say that again?" he clicked it.

She flinched back slightly, eyes trailing to the barrel of the gun. Melody froze silently for a while, and glared back up to Dimitri. She sighed, and turned her head away,"Sorry," she muttured.

Fleance walked over to Dimitri "Mabye I should take care of that gun"he said and took the gun out of Dimitri's hand and out it in his pocket.

"Give that, now," he glared loathingly at Fleance "Before I do something you won't like,"

"umm...no"Fleance said glaring back at Dimitri "You threatened to shot Melody...and you cna;t even control the gun...not saying that ur a bad shooter...it could be the gun"

"Give me the gun. Now." he looked tentavily at Melody " 'Cause if you're so worried about Melody, I could do something very, very bad to her if you don't give it to me,"

"Hell I'm worried about you right now....your...not yourself right not so.No. I'm not giving the gun to you"

"I would advise you to not to say such things, Fleance, considering you've known me less than a day." he grimaced "I can get very callous with others, don't try me."

"Fine"Fleance said "I'm still not gonna give you the gun back with that tone of voice"

At that second, Dimitri let his fist connect with Fleance's jaw. Hard. "Give me the damn gun, vampire!!"

Melody's eyes widened, and she looked strickened to Dimitri then to Fleance,"Dimitri!!" she snapped at him. Melody looked to Fleance, and walked his way,"Just give him his gun back, before you get yourself fucking shot!"

Fleance stumbled back and looked at Melody "One thing,If I get shot it wouln't matter guns don't hurt me!"Fleance said " So now your going to side with the maniac? He's the one who almost shot you not me and now your going with his side! He could kill someone with this gun."

"I'm well aware of that!!" Melody hissed at him,"But he can kill someone faster out of his rage if you don't give him the freakin' gun!!"

"You've known him for him for a few days!"Fleance said.

"I know that perfectly well, Fleance!!That's the point, you don't know who you're antagonizing against! And who the hell said I'm siding with him!?" Melody yelled, clenching her fist.

Dimitri glared daggers at both of them "Give me, this," he reached over to Fleance's pocket and retrieved the gun. "I'll be on my way now. No wonder I don't associate with you Heru Mitsukai kids. And vampires," he spat the word like something vile. He glared at them once more, before turning on his heel and going.

Fleance glared at him evil his clenches his fists into a ball and craking "Asshole," he said walking the other way.

Melody stood in place, looked from Dimitri to Fleance repeatedly,"Dimitri-Fleance- what...where...why...GAH!" she ran her fingers through her fine hair, and sighed, kicking a pebble in front of her, and slowly walking away, slouching,"Me and my stupid mouth..." she muttured.

"Not work out well?"

Dimitri looked down from where he was sitting up in a tree.
"Oh, it's you..."

"And you expected it to be..."

"The tooth fairy,"

"Charming... really," Morgan smirked up at him, fingering her gun. "You gave me a nasty scratch," she gestured unnessecarily to her cheek.

"I know. You deserved it,"

Morgan smirk broadened and she shook her head, wolf ears twitching "Don't get mouthy with me, you'll regret it,"

"Clearly I remember the last time we met, you got mouthy with me and you regretted it," he smiled eveilly poking at his own cheek so as to show her where he scarred her.

Morgan grimaced.

"Where's your bodyguard today?" Dimitri shifted in the tree, choosing instead to look at the sky.

"I don't know... he went off... somewhere," she smiled "Can I come up?"

"Why? So you can charm me into liking you so I don't hold any hate for you GROUNDING me the rest of eternity?"

"Well, you didn't always have wings now did you? You got along then?"

"I don't remember that time..." he said bitterly.

"Hm..." she sighed, as if disdained. "Nothing?"

"..." he was silent a moment "I remember... a car,"

"That's it?"

"That's it... now if you don't mind, I'm trying to brood and you're worming into my mind is distrupting that very rudely."

She smiled again "Fine...." she turned on her heel, and left.
