Minos

Minos is the largest city on the island of Atla that is inhabited chiefly by the Tauren Elite, also called Kujata Kin. The city is one of the most powerful military centers in the world. Powered by the sheer might of its soldiers, Minos is the world leader in Mercenary Guilds and shows no sign of slipping. Ruled by a single Shaman, normally the eldest living Tauren, and protected by two generals controlling offensive and defensive military actions.

Districts

Minos Great Hall The residence of the upper class of Minos. The Great Hall serves as religious center and ceremonial rituals. Within its hold is a shrine dedicated to Kujata, the lord deity of the beast men. Many members are primarily Tauren, but there are a few other Taur races who serve as ambassadors within the Great Hall. Restricted to the Upper Class of Minos, except on special occasions

Minos Marketplace A bustling bazaar dedicated to trade. Merchants from all around the Urdar Plateau come here to sell their goods to the rich residents of Minos. Competition is feirce, and small businesses are often squashed by larger competitors. Sometimes if you wait long enough, you will see a pair of Taurens lock horns over a disagreeable pricing on an item. Open City-Wide

Minos Arena This district is a place where noble Tauren warriors compete in challenges to test their strength. Gladiators are welcomed here, but anyone is welcome to challenge the current champions for title and prizes. Mostly non-violent in nature, but there are some severe injuries (typically to foreigners) since the Tauren build is so large. This arena also doubles as the Tauren smithing area, where larger weapons are crafted to suit the gladiators. Open City-Wide

- Sparta - (Town)
Sparta Training Camp The Tauren Elite are not born with military skills as a young calf. They train with their peers on the small plateau north of the Minoan Mesa. They run for miles on winding bridges that span the gap of the two Plateaus, but they gain the necessary musculature in the process. Jousting, weapons training, and even some distance running is learned here where all Taurens work for the right to become an Elite Mercenary for Minos. Open to Minos Military Members only, but allows a screening process for other races to enter if they choose to do so

- Pylos - (Town)
Pylos Bridge Town The Tauren Barbican defense wall protecting their end of the bridge from possible invasion. This town is filled with warriors of the defensive legions of Minos. However the town also has another task, which produces the crops necessary for the Military soldier's rations. Should the town fall, the entire plateau of Minos would suffer the consequences. Tackling an entire town filled to the brim with nine foot bulls armed with heavy axes and hammers is another task entirely. Open to all races, except in war times
