Appearance...
- Camels are unique animals, though relatives to llamas and alpacas. Camels have long necks and rather lazy facial features.
- Noted for huge humps on their backs which they store food for long migrations across the deserts.
- Camels are very high off the ground with stilted legs, which they use to avoid the heat from the sand as much as possible. Camels also have very long eyelashes, which keeps sand and other grains from out of their eyes.
Habitat...
- Centra, typically Arabia or Ægypt
- Always found in arid climates, where water is secluded to oasis and food is just as scarce.
- Once of the few large animals that travel in the wastelands of Centra, the Camel is prized highly for their ability to traverse the deserts.
Behavior...
- Camels are very rude and ignorant beasts, sometimes spitting noxious and waxy fluids at those they distaste.
- Camels are easily domesticated, but smell rather profusely because of their thick hair which traps all manner of odors. With the scarcity of water, Camels are rarely washed... ever.
- While able to run, camels prefer to stride across the desert since it uses less energy.
