Whirlpool, in tandem with the great chasm of the Maelstorm, Charydis is often seen as the source when clearly it is a devilish creature unsurpassed even by Terra's most terrible force.
Spherical Mandibles, Myths told by sailors state that Charybdis is a monster, a monster with several mouths, each smaller than the last, and each further into the belly of the beast.

Description
Only described by supertitious sailors whose lives were forever altered by the sight of the "Monster". Not even truly known to exist, and it was not until a decade ago that the theory even existed that there was a monster lurking within the spirals of the Maelstrom. It had always been thought of as another name for the great whirlpool, but the sailors who said they've seen it adamantly argue its existence. There can be no further proof of this creature, nor will the sailors dare image the monster on paper as they fear its soul will suck their soul as Charybdis does vessels.
