Appearance...
- Mastodons are very large and durable creatures, with very thick skin and hair. While smaller than other elephants in the world, Mastodons are still quite large compared to average creatures.
- Mastodons are most famous for their trunk, a muscular nose that is used to lift or pluck with incredible precision.
- Heavy and gurthy, Mastodons are incredibly silent for their size when they move through the open plains.
Habitat...
- Adon, Wynthier.
- Mastodons are sometimes spotted in the Great Adon Grasslands, but it is often a rarity since the grazing is mostly the territory of the Buffalo.
- Mastodons are surprisingly easy to domesticate, often serving as a sort of pack beast by the Wendigos.
Behavior...
- Mastodons show a surprisingly wide range of emotions for an animal their size. From happiness while having fun, to sadness when losing a family member.
- Mastodons are big, but they have a surprising grasp of delicate movement compared to their immense bulk.
- Mastodon strength is much like that of their cousins, and is a prime quality for their domestication. Mastodons cut building time in half in most cases.
