Appearance...
- They are mistaken as forms of eagles or other such creatures, but a dead give-away that it is a Phooka will always be pitch black in body and have glowing red eyes.
- Phooka sometimes like to appear as eagles or other animals when they aren't feeling up to giving a hell-ride
- Phooka manes are rather fine and wavy, giving them a very beautiful black sheen.
Habitat...
- Lith
- Phooka are sometimes thought of as demonic stallions that roam the island of Lith.
- They are more common in the Autumn region of the forsaken island, but they have been seen prancing around in groups within Mirkwood and the Moors. Some Phooka serve as steeds for the haunting legions of Pumpkinhead on the foresaken island.
Behavior...
- Phooka are wild equines can stomp the hell out of any creature that wishes to do them harm.
- While Phooka are evil, these equins prefer to play around with their victims are are really harmless if not threatened.
- They may seem to be polite, but once a rider mounts them these horses will plow through marshes and thorn-bushes giving their passenger a frightening ride until finally the Phooka kicks them off into a mudpuddle or ditch at which they will often snicker and whinny at the foolish traveller.
