Appearance...
- Wolven appear like giant wolves, but are rather slendor in appearance, leading some to believe they are of Sharacko, the wind deity.
- With flowing hair, these graceful canines are sometimes given the title, "Canine Lions" because many have manes which the orcs use as a grip while riding.
- Wolven have slender faces compared to other wolves, but the size of their head more than makes up for any lacking slenderness would have.
Habitat...
- Adon, Great Adon Grasslands
- Typically roam grasslands, but have been sighted in woodlands.
- Wolven are the prime steed of the Orcs, who use these massive wolves in warfare because of their tenacity in combat.
Behavior...
- Wolven rarely hunt, though they are certainly capable of doing so. Most wolven bully meals from other wolves or even bears, and scavenge from the leftovers.
- Wolven are very capable runners, though at regular speed they are little faster than the orc riding them. However, Wolven are capable of a sprint that is nearly twice as fast but can be rather stamina consuming.
- Unlike other wolves, the Wolven do not hunt in packs of any more than three members. Because of their enormous size, they cannot afford a large pack because meals would barely feed them.
