[Empee]'s reproduction of Edvard Munch's Madonna is utterly breathtaking! The likeness of the two pieces is uncanny and yet absolutely perfect. It takes sheer talent to be able to copy a great masterpiece and reproduce it on paper (especially with colored pencils), and many Artists fail to capture the feeling the work conveys. You can tell [Empee] poured her heart and soul into this piece because it actually captures that feeling. The luminous face, the strong lines, the vibrant yet subdued colors; this entire piece is wreathed in an air of confidence and sensuality.

The original, by Munch, is thought to be a depiction of the Virgin Mary, although in her younger years. Nevertheless it still conveys that same air of confidence with her twisting body, luminous face, quiet show of modesty, and sensuality. Yet again the likeness of both pieces is truly uncanny.

We believe this reproduction truly is an amazing work of art and a fantastic show of talent and passion. Brava [Empee]! Congratulations on your wonderful masterpiece!
