This is where Potions takes place.
Andrea was sitting at her desk, preparing the lesson for her next class. She was intending on discussing the different potions ingredients one might find in the everyday cabinet and what the students thought of them. She would also check their knowledge of the effects of said ingredients.
Dylan walked into Potions and sat in the back corner of the room. She liked the back corners of rooms. They made her happy.
"It's nice to see you're actually in class on time, Dylan," Andrea said. "I won't have to give you a detention."
"It wouldn't make any difference. I have them with Paz until Winter Break." Dylan put her elbows on her desk and rested her head in her hands.
Andrea returned to planning, waiting for the rest of the class to arrive.
"Yes, you do," said Paz as she went to her spot to learn potions for the first time in her life. She took out some poisonous mushrooms and looked at them with an angry look on her face.
"Excuse me Paz, but we haven't begun class. Pleas put all of your potions ingredients away for now," Andrea said to Paz.
Paz flicked the mushroom across the room on accident, shrugged and took out her book on torturing students who misbehave, i.e. Dylan.
Andrea shook her head and walked over to pick up said thrown muffin. She walked back to her desk and waited for the rest of the class to arrive.
Dylan glanced over at Paz's book.
Crap... Just what I need... Another way that Paz can make my life hell... she thought.
Paz glanced at the page.
One method of torture is The Wheel. Simply take a person, ruthlessly smash their limbs until you are able to weave them in the spokes of the wheels. Then lift it on a high stake so everyone can laugh and throw garbage at them." "How very interesting," thought Paz. "Zhis might just vork on some of ze students. Painful but effective..."
Dylan took out her notebook and began making paper quidditch players. She tried to get them to have a match.
"This team is the red team," she said towards one. They turned red. "And this is the blue team." They turned blue. "Now play!" The little quidditch players began playing quidditch.
Andrea was too busy making plans. She didn't see Dylan's fun-fest.
Addie run into class and takes her seat, she never really liked potions.
Andrea looked up to see Addie.
"Good morning, Addie," she said.
Paz decided that she had too much work to attend the class that day and paced out of the class. On the way out she passed by Adrianna who was running as fast as she could to class after over sleeping through Paz's class. "You 'ave detention tonight," said Paz as she passed. Adrianna merely nodded and took her seat next to Dylan.
"Hey Adrianna. How's life treatin' ya?" Dylan asked when Adrianna sat down.
Andrea began to write some things on the chalkboard about newts tails.
"Not overly well," sighed Adrianna. "I slept through first period thinking that I had it off then remembered that I had Paz's class first period and it was already over!! So now I have detention... oh well, anything new in your life?"
"No... Paz was threatening to kick me off the quidditch team. That scared me..." Dylan said. "I was being lazy. She also gave me detention until I don't know when. Maybe I'll be out when I'm eighty-five...
"
"Watch your back because Paz WILL kick you off she gets the urge," sighed Adrianna sitting back in her chair and reading the newt notes. "I can't wait till our first game though! I might just accidently hit some poor Gryffindor player in the back of the head with my bat."
"I'm still trying to schedule practices. I haven't gotten the chance to yet," Dylan said. "I constantly get detention, so I'm not sure how that will work out."
"That sucks," said Adrianna. "Oh well, when is this going to start?"
"I don't know. I'll check during my free period, which just so happens to be next. What about you?" Dylan asked.
