How do I put it together and smoke?

1. Fill your base with water. The piece of the shaft that's in the glass bowl/base should be covered, but not enough to get water up the hose when you suck. :P
2. Place your Shaft into the Base.
3. Fasten the Tray over the Shaft.
4. Fasten the Bowl on the Shaft.
5. Gather your Flavored Tobacco, Tongs, Metal Bowl screen (or foil).
6. Unpack or loosen the Flavored Tobacco. This will make it easier to load into your hookah and will give you a smoother smoke.
7. Without overfilling the bowl, lightly place your loosened tobacco into the clay bowl.
8. Fasten a screen (or foil) over the Bowl.
9. If you are not using a proper screen and you are using foil, be sure to poke small holes into the Foil.
10.Light the charcoal and put it on the foil.
Start smoking! It will soon be full of smoke:P

What charcoal to use?
I recomend any of the charcoal you light on your stove. It takes longer but tastes better. There are coal you can light with just a lighter, but they're filled with chemicals to burn, which smells and tastes bad, not to mention it's unhealthy. If you do use them, make sure they're completely glowing before you start to smoke.
Never use usual charcoal bought for bbq, people have died of that.

What kind of tobacco?
There are tobacco free herbal tobaccos. I've never tried them. Normally you can buy fruit flaoured, moisty hookah tobacco where you bought the hookah.

Is it worse or better to smoke hookahs than cigarettes?
Very hard to say, there have been tests showing it's almost harmless and tests showing it's deadly. I doubt it's the healthiest thing to do, but I don't believe it's worse than cigarettes. And you don't get addicted that easily either. (I've smoked for a year, at one time every day, pretty much all day. But I have no problem with being without my hookah for months in a time either.) Not to mention it's hard to stress smoke. Try lighting a hookah while you wait for the bus, as example. :P

Hookah = drugs?
Uhm, no. Sorry to spoil it. Even tho some people use their hookahs to smoke weed or other fun stuff, most people doesn't. And we don't recommend it eiter. Use the nice legal tobacco there is and enjoy your hookah with friends or while watching a movie.

Will the smoke get stuck in my walls and miscolor them?
No, unlike cigarette smoke, hookah smoke doesn't make your white walls yellow after lots of usage. I only know people smoking 3 years in his appartment, every day, but at least in 3 years it won't destroy your home. It doesn't smell as cigarettes (it smells fruity:P) and the smell is generally easy to get rid off.
