Over the river and through the woods, and a little over the hill is a gate.
To the eye, it's an ordinary gate, a little weathered and a little abandoned. To the special people out there, that gate is the door into a world where Larping IS reality.
The minute you step through that gate, you are your character? You a mage in your Larp clan?
POW~
You walk through that gate and you are a mage in reality.
~Get it?~
Xander walked from his dad's office at the hospital, needing to vent. He looked down at the tattoo on his wrist that he just got. It was a capricorn sign, but below it was printed the french equivalent of 'The conquerer'. he smiled and ran to his house and grabbed his gear, heading to the Gate, ready to kick some ass.
Anthony looked down at the dead body, his one visible eye betraying no emotion as he nudged it with his foot. "It looks like we've got a rouge NPC on our hands," he spoke to some of the other A.I's, they all nodded in agreement. "Scatter out, it can't have got far." He looked up at the sky, it was always a bother when the NPC's got bugs and this one seemed to have gotten a pretty heavy one. News had gotten to the Controllers about a crazed NPC going after lower levelled characters, it was why he'd been sent out to deal with it.
Xander jogged up the trail and into the gate, changing as he stepped through. After the initial sickness, he straightened and whipped out a spear, feeling primative today. He walked jauntily over to the closest mod, nodding.
"Hey cutie. What's the questlist like for today?" He noticed that the mod only had one eye showing.
Anthony turned sharply as he heard someone approached, instantly the players data appeared before his eyes in the form of a holographic projection, though of course only he could see it. "Lord Ghoul, if you wish for the quest listings please visit one of the out postd," he noted the player's level, he was of a pretty high standard but should still be warned about the rogue NPC. "We have a faulty NPC at the moment so I suggest avoiding this area unless you wish to end up like her." Anthony gestured to the body of a dead player, the dead bodies didn't vanish until the person logged back and apparently this player had been a bit pissed at dying so quickly.
Ghoul smirked and walked over to the player's dead body and nudged it with his foot, noting the violent death shown evident by the seemingly fake blood on the ground and on her face. "Well then. Looks like I've got some hunting to do." Ghoul grinned at Anthony and winked, blowing him a kiss before sniffing the air and closing his eyes, trying to get a location on the rogue NPC. He took off in a vague direction, changing his course once in a while.
Anthony watched the man nudge the dead body in confusion, he then blinked as the kiss was blown. What did that even mean? The guy, however, was gone before he could ask.
After about an hour of fruitless searching, Ghoul was back, looking a little weary. He muttered soemthing about a snack, when he got an idea, and decided to ask Anthony. He approached Anthony and tapped his shoulder.
The body was gone gone, the player apparently now revived and on another quest, Anthony was just cleaning up the crime scene. When he felt the tap on his shoulder he slowly turned. "Yes?"
Ghoul looks a bit sheepish ans he sidled up to Anthony. "Do all NPCs smell the same?"
