Alakesh walked on the street, his head down due to the rain and he muttered low about missions in this kind of weather. He was a human, carrying completely black clothes as that was most comfortable in his job and his long cloak was completely soaked. He looked around himself mostly on routine, trying to see if there was anyone out there he should watch out for, but his heart wasn't really in it. He was cold and hungry and just wanted to get home but first he had to fix this. Some half an hour more, just..
Just then Jaidis, a Vampiress, brought the light sounds of steps taken on cobblestone. She was coming from the west where the sun was setting behind her with the crimson color of blood. She was wearing a shirt of black with netted arm sleeves and a pair of black pants with chains hanging of the sides of them. On her head was a soft, ebony hat bearing that of a silver skull with the words "death" beneath it. She was wearing silver, dangle earings with a jet stone in the form of a raven withred eyes. Jaidis had, around her neck, silver chains that glistened in the sunset and on her feet were high boots wish straps and chains. She took out an apple and bit down on it with her fangs to tear a piece off. It was evident that she was wearing black gloves as well. "Good evening..." she said while throwing the apple aside. Jaidis played with a lock of her long, black hair, tiwling it around with her fingers. Her eyes were a deep red as she had her gaze set on the stranger. They were heavy with dark eyeliner.
Alakesh startled at the sound, suddenly fully alert. Was it a real vampire or just one of those goth kids? "Good evening." he answered, still watching her. His hands were ready to grab for his silver dagger, but he wasn't really well prepared for a meeting. It was just a routine controle afterall.
"What is a human doing out here on the street..? ...and all alone?" A michievous grin spread across her face to show off her fangs.
"I'm not out to cause any trouble at least." Alakesh said carefully. He really wasn't into fighting right now. "I'm just out doing my work and soon I'll be heading home."
Jaidis laughed sinisterly. "Do you really think I'd let you run away home. I do not think the snake frees his prey just because the mouse wants to flee..."
"I suppose you won't get satisfied without killing me then.." he took out his dagger, preparing to fight even if he had no wish to do so.
She gave another laugh. "Indeed..."
He waited for her move. His training told him that he would never manage to win if he moved first, since she would be much faster. And he had time on his side, she couldn't wait all night but he could. He watched her warily, his heart just pounding a bit faster than usually.
