Welcome. This is an account of the begining of The Lighthouse.
Lady Jenna and Lady Ascriot, establisers of this establishment, hereb write this account to inform future viewers and inhabitants of this lighthouse.

Chapter 1

Jenna walked into the cool shaded room for a nap after her day of traveling she decided to light a fire when she saw a figure crouched in the corner.

Ascriot watched the vampire warily.

Jenna nodded in Ascriots direction "who are you?"

Ascriot unsheathed her brother's silver sword and held out in front of her,s tepping into the campfire's light. "I am the Lady Ascriot the fourth. By whose permission do ye have to trespass upon my land, monster?"

"I have the permission of your father who is letting me rent this dwelling for the night, and if i were a monster I would have just eaten you all by now." Jenna explained.

Ascriot glared at The vampire. "My father has been dead for almost twenty years now. "She looked Jenna over. "You looketh to be mine own age. How didst you know mine father?"

Jenna looked back at Ascriot " well the whole father thing was worth a try, i never knew your father but i could have, im almost 60 at the moment "monsters" or vampires dont age."

Ascriot tilted her head. "They don't? INteresting."

"No, they dont, and some of us arent monsters" Jenna smiled

Ascriot sat down on the log beside Jenna, smoothign her long skirts infront of her.

Jenna looked to Ascriot "so would you like to know anything else about us?"

Ascriot laughed. "only that you're bloodsucking leaches out to kill."

Jenna looked confused "how did you know so quickly that i was one of them?"

Ascriot touched Jenna's cheek. "You're skin."

Jenna smiled "ahh, i see"

Ascriot nodded. "You seem like a nice person for being sixty years old. You're still young, aren't you?"

Jenna laughed "im not actually 60 im more like 18 but i've been a vampire for 42 years so i just havnt aged mentaly much either."

Ascriot envied the vampire girl. "Well... feel free to cmoe up to my mansion if you get cold or something."

"you mean youre okay with me with me staying in here?" jenna asked suprised.

ascriot took a deep breath. "I am, yes. You seem nice. I think we could be friends." she stood up. "MY mothe might not be, but as long as you wear a cloak or something, she woul dbe fine too."

Jenna smiled "thank you"

Ascriot smiled and held out her hand to Jenna.

Jenna hadnt shaken anyones hand in at least 2 years so she was taken back for a moment then have it a shake with a quick wince in pain from the heat.

ascriot pulled her hand back. "what's wrong?" she asked.

Jenna smiled "nothing youre just warm"

Ascriot looked at her hands. "Alright then."
