Appearance – 5'8, 135 pounds, Riz'nah is a fine strapping specimen with an athletic body that has just now started to blossom with womanhood. There is not much to be said for her flat bosom but she is on the verge of developing hips. Her legs are noticeably long and give her much of her height. As for skin, hers is reddish brown, her eyes flaming red, and her hair richly golden. Her horns are tiny at this point, just little curly-cues that barely peek out of her feral hair. Her locks fall to her waist and are often tangled, with a few dreaded pieces on the underside.

Personality – She is considered young by human standards and is practically a baby still in the eyes of her longer-lived kin. Thusly, she is unruly much of the time, leading with her hotheaded emotions that can result in bitterness, sarcasm, and explosive temper. There isn't much guessing what is going on with Riz'nah - it's usually obvious. She does like to hide her "weaker" emotions, but they are not often felt. She has incredible strength of will but needs direction to harness her true powers. Impatient and demanding, Riz'nah is not afraid to throw her weight around and can become quite irritated in a short period of time. Her temper is her biggest obstacle, though her arguments are not often without merit. With other people she can be a decent friend but she doesn't compromise much and she is rather stubborn. Deep down, she has a burning pride of what she intends to become and doesn't quite understand how learning the adept ways is going to improve her shamanism. She refuses to budge on her shamanistic roots and can be quite a handful to authorities, even though she intends to graduate simply to prove she can.

History – Riz'nah was born as the only child to a well-off couple in Ki'afisal, where she spent her childhood in blissful peace. Her father was a shaman and her mother a huntress so she learned quickly to respect the land to which she was privy and that red magic was her right as an Ignean. From an early age she took great interest in shamanism and knew that she wanted to dedicate herself to the practice, much to her parent's delight. Her father was her mentor and took great pride in his blossoming young daughter's abilities. He sent her on many spiritual journeys out into the woods to find her true deity, telling her not to return until she had learned its holy name. Her father received word of the elite adept's academy and, after much persuasion on his wife's part, he agreed to send Riz'nah on the sole basis of increasing her knowledge of magic. She was not thrilled to learn of this "adepts" academy, thinking it to be a waste of her time, but she refuses to be a failure so she remains to show everyone what she's made of.

Lv 1 Scribble ScrollYou can create magical scrolls of spells of Level 1 for later use. Success or failure is determined by Intelligence. Scrolls cost the mana it would take to cast the spell + 1 sheet of parchment per spell level + (Spell Level x 50 GP). DC = 7*spell level.
Lv 1 Magic ResistanceGrants a +2 to Magic Power rolls in order to resist or dispel spells
Lv 1 Fire Resistance You can ignore the first 2 points of red element damage taken every turn.
Lv 1 Flame Strike Once per day for every four levels, your attack deals an additional 1d6 fire damage.
Lv 1 Dread Once a day for every three levels you may attempt to inflict Fear on an enemy with a Charisma roll. The Fear lasts for d4 turns.

Soul Steal - Once a day per every 5 levels, when the Shaman kills a humanoid enemy that is no less than 5 levels below himself, he may choose to harvest his soul to replenish 25% of his MP. This ability is prohibited by the Church of Nesha and encouraged by the Spire Church.
