This room was a beautiful deep light blue, with a huge bed in the center that seemed to be overflowing with pillows. The bed was red, in great contrast with the walls. A plain brown trunk stood at the foot. A huge, stretching carpet laid across the rooms floor, with a handsome black and gold dragon with big green eyes and a blue background on it. A polished mahogany desk stood on one wall of the room, and many artistic looking masterpieces of dragons and thieves lined the walls. A balcony stood on one side of the bed, with green curtains flowing outward in the wind. A stand up torch burned blue and white flame on either side of the bed. A large white wardrobe was on the opposite wall of the desk, holding all of Rynsana's good and plain clothing and robes. On top of the chest lay two gifts, one was a detailed, carved, and painted ebony black horse about a foot tall with eyes of rubies and a golden chain around its neck. Beside it were a lockpick and probe, and under that a note reading:
Dear Rynsana,
Thank you for joining this school, as you have yet to see me for your powers that I will reveal to you, I have left you with some small gifts. The horse will do wonders later when you master it, and the lockpick and probe, well, lets just keep it at I hope they come in handy for you one day.
With Sincerity,
Your Headmistress,
Celeste Astrafall
Rynsana enters the room, eyes wide. She was a little nervous about this whole magic school thing. She took in the rooms decorations and fourniture in awe. Then her eyes fell on the two gifts that had been left to her. She smiled as she saw the horse, lifting it gently, her fingers carresing its. "It so smooth..." she said softly to herself in admiration. Then she spoted the note. She set the horse down gently and reached down to the note. She lifted it, catching the lockpick and probe in her hand deftly. She laughed softly as she read the note. She would like it here indeed.
With a gentle smile she set the note down and sat down on her bed, bouncing there for a moment with satisfaction. She had not slept on a bed for quite a time now and it was a pleasure that she did look forward to. She inclined her head at the room, admiring the draconic decorations with interest. Then she climbed to her feet.
