CHAPTER 1
Ascriot stretched out on the balcony, her long legs glittering in the sun. They were home, so she had no fear of being seen by mortals. They feared coming up the steep cliff that vampires favored to their home, a huge lighthouse.
Claude was atop the lighthouse roof, legs crossed, hands pressed behind him neatly. he closed his eyes and felt himself get billowed by the wind. He smiled as the wind whipped his hair about, dancing across his face.
Ascriot sent a mental message up to Claude.
Try not to fall off the Lighthosue roof again, Claude. I sense mortals, most likely teens, climbing the cliff.
Claude blinked, he rolled back and melted into his own shadow. He teleported down the lighthouse, he soon came up out of Ascriot's shadow. He smiled and bowed, standing in the corner.
"It seems we have some uninvited guests making there way up the cliff" Astrid said telepathically to the two downstairs as he read his up on his spells in his room.
"Shall I dispose of them..." he thought to them with a mischievous grin on his face.
Claude walked over and looked down at the guests, he sighed and turned to Ascriot, he pointed at them, as if gesturing to what they should do. He was unable to do any form of speech, even telephatic, as for reading his thoughts, they had no voice themselves.
Ascriot looked down and shot back up to Astrid and Claude.
You can one or two, but not now. No one has ever made it up this far before in a long time. She got off of the balcony and searched through a large chest in the corner. She pulled out a book of spells that she had borrowed from Astrid's room and summoned up spirits to haunt the first three levels of the Lighthouse. they were on the fourth.
If they make it up this far, we can change them to vampire's as a reward... she said to Claude.
What do you think.... Yes or No. She was teaching Claude sign language.
Claude looked at her hand signs, he nodded and gave the hand signal for yes.
Astrid agrees.
"It would be nice to add some new blood to our coven. But who will do the honors?"
Well, Jenna's out of town, talkign with the leader of the Draven coven... so whoever they bump into first gets them, I suppose... She said. "Stay here and wait for the mortals, alright hun?" She walked up the stairs to Astrid's room and knocked on the door.
Claude watched as Ascriot left, he turned to his leader. HE sat down in the corner, waiting patiently, just observing the mortals.
Astrid answers thew knock at his door. "Well hello there love." he says smiling.
Ascriot smiled back. "Hi." She still felt like a child when she talked to her love.
"Well you know your always welcome into my room, come in come in. What is Claude up to?" he said trying to straighten up.
Ascriot smiled and waved her hand in a general arch int eh room, the messy things flying back to their spots. "I know. I just like making you get up and answer the door. It's good excersize." she poked his stomach and walked in, sitting on a corner of his bed.
He stretches out across the bed laying his head in her lap. "And what brings you to my humble abode this fine day my dear?" he says looking curious. "You shouldn't waste a fine day like this indoors."
Ascriot smiled and stroked his hair. "Nothing in particular. I just realized I haven't seen you in a while. Like, almost over a month." She kissed his nose. "You and your books." she teased.
*he floats up still laying flat to kiss her* "There the only thing that occupy my mind long enough to think of something other than you."
Ascriot kissed him back. "I see. Do you want me to let you be to continue with your studies?" She kissed him once more.
~~*Meanwhile on the cliff*~~
Bekah stopped at the edge of the cliff, wiping the sweat from her brow. "phew, this is a long climb." She mumbeled to herself, just then she looked around, seeing how much more she had to climb, she then noticed she was closer than she thought to the top. Determined, she started climbing again. "Im going to make it!" She told herself, pleased at her hard work. A few minutes later Bekah collapsed at the top of the cliff, tired and hungry. As she rested, she looked around at her new surroundings. Suddenly something shinny caught her eye. Bekah, curious and attracted by anything shinny, stood up at went to see what it was. As she approched, Bekah peered through the bristle and spotted an huge castle-like house. "Oh..my.." she gasped.
Ascriot got a vision of a red-haired girl in teh bushes and sent out aspell that would draw her to the Lighthouse, turning her attention back to Astrid.
Suddenly bekah felt an odd force drawing her towards the odd house. Curious, she walked up to the Lighthouse and knocked on the door.
The door opened wiwth a groan. The shaows beyond the threshold seemed to whisper her name.
Bekah hesitated on the front stoop, but something drew her in. As bekah looked around nervously, twirling her long red hair around her fingure, a strange sound came from the stairs. More curious than anything, Bekah headed up the stairs, forgetting her manners.
The ghost licked its blood red lips and rattled its chains more, this time letting out a scream. The door bekkah had just come trough slammed shut, locking itself.
Bekah froze at the sound of the door slamming shut and locking. "That was'nt.." she asked herself, running towards the door, desperatly clawing at it. "Open, please! Oh damnit noo!" she exclaimed, terrified.
The ghost drifted down the stairs, shaking it's stairs. It's bloody mouth open in it's forever silent sceam made a sadistcly clownish apearance. It stared at Bekkah with its black pitted eyes.
Bekah heard the sound, but wa too afraid to look, in so she crouched next to the door as screamed "GO AWAY!..please.
" Bekah shut her eyes cowarding next to the door. She felt like a 5 year old again, which made matters worse.
The ghost floated out, to be taken up by a different one further up ont he next level.
Suddenly Bekah senced she was alone in the room. Feeling foolish and babieish, she started tugging on the door again. A few yanks later, Bekah gave up, turning towards a starnge figure in the courner. Bekah froze.
It was a broom, which fell forward, pushed by a frightened mouse that darted away adn up the stairs.
Bekah let out a sigh of relief "maybe it was just my over active mind, playing tricks on me again" She thought, trying to convince herself that. As Bekah gathered her courage, she started to look around again.
the house once again pulled her in with the desire to explore the next level.
A starnge desire sent Bekah wandering up the stairs again. As she went up, the looked at the photos of Beautiful people. They seemed old, painted perfectly. Almost life like. Then one caught her eye. It was of a young looking male. She stopped and staired up at him. It looked like as if he was stairing back. A shiver ran down Bekah's spine as she peeled her eyes away from his perfectly painted ones. She started her climb upstairs once more...
Ascriot felt bekah getting closer, adn sent a message to Claude to get ready.
Bekah managed to make it to the op of the stairs, even more tired than she was before. " I wonder where the bathroom is..?" she mumbled to herself. Looking around.
~~! Back upstairs ! ~~
Ascriot traced her finger over Astrid's profile as she floated next to him, smiling to herself.
Astrid stared at her graceful and sensual movements. Her finger and his body glistening when it went under a ray of light.
"What?" she whispered, looking at him, propping herself on an elbow.
he turns away smiling "nothing my dear." He laces his fingers with hers.
#!!~~**On The Second Floor**~~!!#
Bekah turned a corner, searching for the bathroom. As she rounded another corner, she stumbled upon a long hallway, about 20 doors. Bekah looked down the hallway with wonder.. "I wonder.." she whispered walking up to the first door. Bekah opened it, and to her surprise, it was indeed a bathroom. Bekah smiled to herself and locked herself inside.
The house was not without pity, so the spirits left Bekah alone in peace... mostly. They locked the door from the outside as well, making it so she was unable to get out easily.
~~! Upstairs !~~
Ascriot sighed happily and snuggled closer.
Astrid traced a circle in the air. Suddenly a window outlined in red smoke appeared, they could see the newcomers making there way up the mountain. "Are these your friends?..." he said with a smirk as he pointed.
Ascriot placed a hand on teh window and made a flipping motion, like you would flip a page, spinning teh scenerey to the locked red-haired girl in the bathroom. "She might end up being my friend. The Spirits seem to like her immensly. they haven't done anything to harm her. Yet." She said, her voice playful as she smirked back.
Astrid runs his tongue over his fangs with a smile. "This should be entertaining. The spirits haven't taken a liking to someone in a long while."
"Indeed." Ascriot got up, floating down and finaly settling on the carpeted floor. She stood up and rolled her neck, cracking it. "Claude. Keep your eyes peeled. this girl might actualy make it." she shot quickly down to her friend. She glanced over at Astrid. Her heart fluttered like a schoolgirl's. she reached over adn tapped his forehead. "You're it!" she darted off, laughing.
~~~In The Bathroom~~~
As bekah finished her buisness, she quickly wached her hands, a bad feeling came upon her as she dried her hands on a nearby towel. Just then she reached and turned the lock, and turning the knob as well. The door didnt budge. "What the..?" She asked herself, trying the lock again, then the door. Time after time the door still didnt budge. "Crap, No." she muddered, giving up. Just then Bekah turned and looked at her surroundings. Glancing around the room, for something that could unlock a door. A card perhaps? A needle? No, nothing. Suddenly she spotted a window, not far up. Bekah climbed on the toliet seat, making sure not to slip and fall in the bowl. Once bekah reached the window, she peered out, looking on how far the ground was. To her surpirse, it wasnt. Just a short drop. Happily Bekah opened the window and boosted herself from the toilet, from which she stood and heaved her way out of the room. Succesfully Bekah managed to drop to the grassy floor below. Bekah signed in relief as she sat in a grassy patch.
The spirits let her out, swirling up and up until they surrounded and spun around bekkah in a frenzied circle.
A harsh wind suddenly picked up. Bekah's hair wiped her face and danced in the wind. Confused, bekah looked up, seeing the spirits. Frazzeled she screamed, jumping up and tried to run. Unsuccessfully, bekah smashed into somthing hard, which made her bounce off and land with a thump. Bekah looked up to see what she hit into, yet nothing was there. Scared and confused, bekah picked herself up and ran. She didnt know where, but she ran anyway.'anywhere but here!' she thought to herself as she ran into the woods.
The spirits all screamed, outraged. They went, and the three strongest spirits, Asal, Masabi, and Una, grabbed Bekkah and dragged her back to the Lighthouse, forcing her inside. They locked all the doors from the outside, shut the windows, and chased her upside in their frenzied attempt to keep her.
Terrified, bekah ran upstairs, in attempt to get away from the three large spirits whom were chasing her. Bekah's high pitched screams of terror echoed through out the Lighthouse. As bekah ran for her life, she suddenly lost her balance and fell, tumbling to the floor. Still, determined to get away from the spirits, Bekah started to crawl. Hastily and awkwardly. "HELP!!" she screamed, not knowing if what was following her was the good in this house or not. She didnt care, as long as she got away.
The spirits kept her going up until she reached the last stair case.
As bekah reached the last stair case, she quickly got up and started running again, turning corners, obviously getting lost.
The spirit's cheered, but it soudned like screams of pain.
Ascriot darted out of the room and downstairs, hearing the spirits.
As bekah ran, lost and scared, she suddenly ran past some stairs. She took them. Now tired Bekah started to jog, not really looking where she was going. Suddenly she bumped into something. As bekah looked up, there stood Ascriot. Bekah's eyes grew wide at the sight of the vampire.
Ascriot stared at teh red-haired mortal, tilting her head to the side. "What is your name...?" Ascriot asked.
Bekah blinked, clearing her throat. "B-bekah" she stammered, yet it was barely above a whisper.
Ascriot smiled, and gestured upstairs. "Welcome, Bekah. Please, come upstairs and meet the family."
~~! Upstairs !~~
Bekah followed Ascriot upstairs.
Ascriot led her to Claude, mentally calling Astrid downstairs. "Bekah, meet Claude. Claude, meet Bekah." Ascriot smiled, showing her fangs. "You have a choice, you can stay mortal, or you can become a vampire."
Bekah sat there for a minute. Not sure if she heard them correctly. "E-excuse me? I have a choice?" The vampires nodded. Bekah, dazed and still partically confused thought about it. Sure she has always wanted to become a vampire. And yet, now that its getting handed to her, she wasnt sure what to do. Bekah glanced up at the two outrageously beautiful creatures before her, she felt enveious at their beauty. Pro. She thought further. Then again there was the intence pain and torture, which was brought by a vampire's bite.Con. But yet, there was the immortality. Bekah wasn't sure if that was a pro, or con. Finally, after a long moment of sorting her pros and cons. Her desision was made. As bekah came back to the present, she gazed up at the two vampires again, cleared her throat and noded. "I wish to become a vampire." She announced, smiling weakly.
~~~Just Outside~~~
A burst of light and suddenly two creatures come into view just below the Lighthouse. A small curly haired hobbit girl clung tightly to the fur on the back of a large monsterish creature as it charged forward toward the Lighthouse.
The Spirits saw them comming and were unsure of what to do. They swirled up and around Ascriot, warning her.
Ascriot put up a finger and walked to the creatures. "We have company." She smiled. She nodded to the spirits to leave. "Go and rest."
The spirits slowly disapearaed one by one as Ascriot watched the two newcomers.
Bekah watched as Ascriot approached the two demon-like creatures. "Whats going to happen?" Bekah whispered to Claude.
Ascriot came back and put a hand on Bekah's shoulder. "Are you ready, Bekah?"
Bekah felt her icy cold hand on her sholder. And nodded.
Ascriot noticed Claude was gone. "We need to wait for Claude, Bekah. He is the one who will change you."
"But he's right here." Bekah turned around and Claude was gone. Confused, bekah turned in a circle looking for him. "I lied,he's not here. sorry." Bekah jokingly said. A bit of relief pinged in her stomach.
Claude, as if upon hearing his name, metled up through Bekah's shadow, he tapped her on the shoulder, smiling down at her. Then without warning he grabbed her and bit into her neck, fangs digging deep into her skin, blood trickling down to stain her clothes.
Ascriot turned away, watching the people come. "Is it good, Claude?" she asked without turning.
Astrid strolled outside with one hand in his pocket and the other gripping a delicious red apple. As he glanced over at Claude sinking his fangs into the young girls neck, he licked his canines smiling taking a big bite of his apple. He then mosies over to Ascriot. "enjoying the festivities are we..." he says with a grin.
Ascsriot stole his apple and held it in her hands, looking at it. We are indeed. she said simply. She looked at him, a msall smile at teh corners of her lips.
The monster carryed Elwyne half way tward the Lighthouse ,befor it suddenly stoped again...an eery air surrounded the entire area...as if the place had been deserted for many years ,however it still appeard to be moving with some sort of life...the monster smelled the ground befor it ,as it noticed nothing unordinary it glanced up at its companion...
Once Claude was finished with his little 'meal' Bekah sank to the ground, quivering in pain.It was almost unbareable the pain was everywhere. Her neck from where Claude bit her, her gums from where her new fangs were coming in. Her entire body, from where the poison was melting into her blood stream. Bekah sat there holding her neck from where his fangs were. SHe looked at her blood running down her sholder and dropping onto the grass. It suddenly looked appeling.Her thrist yearned as the pain subsided. She felt stronger, faster, no longer clumbsy or awkward. Bekah then stood she watched as her now pailier skin skimmered in the sunlight. She smiled, showing her fangs. Suddenly Bekah caught a glimpse of herself in a nearby window. "Oh, my.." she sang, surprised on how beatiful her voice sound. Her apperence matched. Her eyes were now an intence teal. Her features leaner, she stood almost femine like. She looked as good as she felt. Then bekah turned and looked at Claude. "Thank you." she said, smiling. Truly happy.
Claude nodded his head, smiling, tilting his head to the side a little as if to glance at Bekah's new body. he was right in turner her, she had become a beauitful vampire.
Bekah surprisingly heard his thoughts and blushed a light pink, turning away towards Astrid. "Umm.. hi" she greeted. "Im bekah, sorry we couldnt meet when i wasnt getting my blood drained." she laughed a musical note. realizing the two creatures werent so far away. Her sences were a whole lot sharper too as she heard their thoughts "Whats this? Human blood?" Thought the big one. Yumm human blood! theres a human around! thought the smaller creature. Bekah heard these things without even tring. Then she wondered if this was one of her new powers. "They wonder whats with all the blood." Bekah informs, not sure if they could hear it too. As the others nod, bekah quietly sniffs the air. Her blood smelled awesome. Her thirst grew.
The child sized, Elwyne looked around and up at the lighthouse from her position riding on her friend's back. She squinted and strained trying to see where their strange guide could have gone. "I don't see the butterfly, or bird, or whatever it is." She looked around again, "Where'd it take us?"
The monsters nose turnd back and it started walking again...With sharp eyes it watched the direction it travled in ,and with ears it listend from behind...The area apeard cooler with each step ,that nearly reached thru its furr...By instinct the monster began to breath heavier ,forcing its blood to rush thru its larg body...
Bekah relized now that they were moving again, hearing each step. She waited as they made it up the cliff.
Elwyne tried to loosen her grip on her friend's fur, but she couldn't relax. She Felt something odd in the tower but she couldn't place just what it could be. She leaned down across her companion's shoulder and whispered, "There's something strange inside. Do you think we should look?" Though she knew it couldn't answer her back with words.
The monster answerd its companion back by continueing its onward walk...The stillness accepted it well as it started to tread liter...As they neard the lighthouse its steps became longer...Each step streached the monster further and further ,untill finaly they reached the top of the hill...
"Do you... think we should knock?" Being a polite little person, Elwyne wouldn't even think of going into anyplace without trying to knock first. She started to climb down, so that she could knock on the lighthouse door.
A vampire with long red hair, and teal eyes danced around teh corner. With a smile. "Hello!" she greeted, waving. "I am Bekah, who might you be?" Bekah walked over to the little female and huge creature. A sweet smile spread accross her face. Her soft porcelin skin shimmered in the sun, like a thousand diamonds.
Evelyn looked at Bekah, she eyed her for a secound and then sighed."A new flegling Claude, I didn't really see you as the type to sire others". She looked over at Claude who simply smiled at her.
The monster rose to two legs and silently looked down at the red hair lady who danced...Without sound or motion it still held a sharp eye stareing forward...Unable to understand what dancing lady has saied ,it just waits for its companion to reply...Emotionless it stood their...
Evelyn just sighed deeply and tucked a bit of hair behind her ear.
Bekah,stunned and curious looked from the extremily short hobbit girl, from Claude. "heh, umm? Excuse me?" Bekah stared down the girl whom came to her hip. "I'm completely lost." Bekah admited. "You, know him?" she asked pointing at Claude. Then suddenly looking up at the creature, with curiousness in her eyes. Bekah's smile and cheery attitude vanished quickly as her thirst raged on.
Eve looked at the small girl also and then to the monster, her eyes sharpened.
Bekah then relized the small hobit girl did'nt say anything. Feeling foolish Bekah looked over at the one who actually said something. "Um. Who are you?"
"Evelyn". Was all Eve said, terse in respose. She looked at Elwyne and then to the monster."Who are you two"?
"Oh" Bekah nodded and wondered the same, still feeling foolish.
The monster didnt understand the line of questions ,in return it continued to stare the welcoming creatures down...It simply waited for its companion to speek...As she did not it stept forward and repositiond itself infront of Elwyne...
Bekah moved out of the way as the huge creature repositoned itself infront of the hobbit. Bekah stood on gaurd incase the ginormious creature wanted to fight, yet faught the erdge to crouch like a mountain lion about to pounce. Bekah guessed this was her 'defence mode' and she knew she had to contol herself.
Elwyne struggled for a moment to resheild her Empathic senses for a group instead of just for her monster friend that she was getting used to, but she could already tell there was something very unusual about the group. "I... um..." She shook her head in an attempt to get her thoughts together. "Hello. My friend and I are kinda lost... I think." She looked around at the sky breifly. "Our guide vanished a bit ago. Has anyone seen a glowing purple butterfly... or maybe a glowing purple falcon bird?"
"What are you looking for"? Eve was unphased by them, she stood her group and spoke directly to Elwyne.
Bekah did'nt take her eyes off the large monster, yet shook her head in answering the hobit girl.
The monster just stared back down standing tall and strong...The groups uneasy reactions started to worry the monster and it began to ready itself for any sudden movements...
Bekah felt what the monster felt and did the same. Then was suddenly alarmed, since she knew how it felt. this must be one of my powers.. Bekah thought as she readied herself again for any sudden movements from the creature.
Elwyne moved closer to her friend for both her own support and for it to know she was there as well. "Well, there was this uh... " Elwyne looked uncomfortable for a moment as if she didn't like what she was going to say, "a very strange lady we met. She gave my friend something so that sometimes he can understand our language, but it doesn't seem to work all the time, and he can't speak back at all. She said she would do something to help him, but she was missing something she needed. A..." El thought for a moment remembering the word, "Flute tube, I think. She gave us a device that made a butterfly come out and we followed, but we were attacked." Elwyne looked sad now. "I lost my other dagger, and then we escaped but the butterfly turned into a falcon and then there was a big light and then we were here." Elwyne tried to explain everything though she stumbled a bit on her words.
Bekah listened to her story, snapping out of her defence mode. "Awh. Thats sad. I'll help you find your bird..or butterfly if you'd like." Bekah offered. Completely forgitting the huge creature and suddenly remembering Claude. Just the Bekah turned and looked at Claude, yet he wasn't there.
The overall mood seemed to have suddenly improoved ,so the monster turnd to its companion...It reponsitiond itself to her side on all four...none the less ,even on all four the monster still remaind taller then the others around it...
Elwyne grinned big, showing a dimple in her left cheek, clapping and bouncing on her furry toes like an excited child, "Would you really? Thank you so much! That's great! We'd both be really grateful! Right?" She reached over to pat her monster friend.
Bekah smiled warmly, as she started to get used to the Ginormus creature. Yet she still kept gaurd. "I'll be delighted." "Its a good thing you met me now and not 15 minutes eariler." Bekah added on thoughtfully.
Elwyne blinked, "Umm... if you say so." She said agreeable though confused.
Within a short moment of silence ,between the coversation ,the monster releast an akward noice...Its stomach! sweeeeald empty...all day from running and fighting...The monster lowerd its head looking at it belly with hungry eyes...At this moment it suddenly grew tired of conversation and began to look around itself ,hoping to find something to eat...yet did not move from its position...
Bekah noticed the confusion from the hobbit, and the hunger from the creature. Bekah was also hungry, but a different kind of hungry. "Ah, um. You see 15 minutes ago i couldnt help you." Bekah tried to explain yet the hobbit girl grew even more confused. "I mean. I was only human 15 miutes ago." Bekah smiled. Her fangs shown in the sunlight, as well as her skin. They both craved attection. "But anyway.." Bekah changed the subject.."If you dont mind, im..thirsty and besides you two had a long trip and must be hungry, i know he is." Bekah smiled gestering towards the creature. "By the way, what may i call you?" Bekah asked looking at the hobbit.
Elwyne blinked in startlement at seeing the girl with fangs, but she'd seen other creatures with fangs, including her monster friend and the strange lady that sent them here. "Um... if you don't mind. My name is Elwyne Verahs you can call me El." She looked at her companion. "Um... I don't know if he has a name."
The monster ignord the conversation compleatly and still looks around itself with appetizing eyes...
"Ah, well El, you may call be Bekah." She said looking at the monster. "'13' seems sutiable for Him." Bekah added, turning "Im going to go find..food." bekah said as she turned and vanished.
Elwyne looked at her friend, "It's ok, I'm sure she'll find something that you can eat." Her own stomach made a noise and El blushed. "And maybe me too. I don't understand why she thinks 13 would be a good name for you though... You don't have bad luck do you?"
~~*35 mintues later*~~
Bekah re-appered from where she vanished, holding a corpse of a cow in her hands."Here, I was'nt sure if 13 would want the remains of this cow..so i brought it along." Bekah explained, putting it down then backing away, to give 13 enough room. And then taking something from her bag. "And I got you, El, some fruit if you'd like." Bekah said placing a grocery bag full of all different types of fruit on a nearby table. "That is, if you like fruit." Bekah added. Hoping she would.
The monster forced its way thru anyone inbetween it and the meal...After a lifetime of surviving on smaller critters the monster endulged itself into a cow...The last few days people have been throwing food at it from all sides ,it thought (perhaps 13 isnt such a unlucky number after all)...The monster began to dismember any part of the cow it got its large jaw around...With a mouth full of blood ,bone ,and meat ,the monster uses its long fingers to shove the partualy chewed food down its throat...Nearly compleatly ignoring its surounding ,however it always kept a open ear tward its companion...
Bekah smiled, hearing its thoughts. You're welcome. Bekah said to it telephaticly, even though she knew it couldn't understand.
The monster made several loud disturbing sounds durring its feeding process...For a short moment the monster looked up at the red hair lady who brought it a meal ,and then continued to rip some flesh apart...Blood again covers its face and it tryes to devour most of its free meal befor moving on...
Elwyne looked a little green in the face, but she didn't move away from her friend. Instead she took some fruit from the bag Bekah had brought. "I like fruit. Not as good as mushrooms but still good!" El smiled though it wasn't quite as bright as her earlier efforts. She looked curiously at the plastic bag. "What's that exactly? I don't think I've ever seen a bag like that before."
Ascriot yawned from where she had fallen asleep on her feet at teh window. "What'd I mis...?"
Bekah also looked at the bag. "Its a shopping bag? Used in the human world." Bekah explained to El before turning to Ascriot. "Morning sleepy head, Yeah you've missed a lot."
Ascriot cracked her neck and wandered around teh room, keepign a cautious eye on the hobbit and the monster.
Bekah noticed Ascriot's curiousness and answered her silent question. They were lost, and they're tring to find a butterfly..or a bird. BUT its a glowing blue butterfly..or bird. Her name is El, and the monster is 13. Theyre nice but watch out for 13. He's protective. Bekah said telephaticly. Now sitting on a windowsill.
Mmm. I see. Ascriot replied simply. She watched their new houseguests. She rememebred the human rooms they used to have on the second floor. She suprised herself by offering them to the strangers.
Bekah was also surprised, "We have Human rooms?" she asked excitedly, turning and vanishing into thin air.
yeah we do. ascriot said to an empty windowseat. She sighed and had a feelign int eh back of her mind. A picture of two people, her and a person, popped up, then faded, adn she knew someone was coming.
Bekah reappered a few moments, she had felt Ascriot's feelings. "Someone's coming?" She asked. "Who?"
"If I'm thinkging it is who I think it is, then I'm pelasantly suprised..." Was all Ascriot said.
Bekah tried to read Ascriot's thoughts and get the image herself, but it was no use. "Who?!" Bekah asked again.
AScriot grinned. I can't tell you until she gets here, if she's even comming.
Bekah sighed and tried not to let it bug her. Instead, she diecided to figure out what other powers she had. In so, thinking on what she might have, she decided to try to fly. Bekah consintrated hard on floating upward, but instead she slipped through the floorboards. Surprised, bekah levatated back up to where Ascriot sat. Whoa! that was so weird! So i can go through things. bekah thought. Again, Bekah tried to fly. This time she thought of things going up. Suddenly a white sofa started to leveatate. Bekah relized she was also telepathic. "Sweet." Bekah said outloud. Clearly having fun with her new self.
Ascriot rolled here eyes and invaded Bekah's mind, supressing her powers. You need to control yourself. You're a psychic-powered, mind-powered vampire, love. you can experiment a LITTLE bit, but not much, until another mind-powered vampitre can train you. Astrid can't, he's an avatar, I can't, well, not very well since I'm one of the only BORN vampires here... I'm half mentalist, as my father called me. My mum didn't have any powers that we knew of... and Claude can't teach you much either, unless you know sign language...So overall, I'm telling you to BEHAVE.
So Claude can help me? Bekah smiled to herself, apperently liking that idea. I know sign language very well. So you think he will...? Bekah asked, sounding a bit hopful. Absent-mindly, practicing her telepathic talents again, by picking up small objects with her mind. Suddenly Bekah had an idea, melting through the wall, Bekah went to find the monster. Once she found it, Bekah tried to levatate it. Slowly,and with much will-power, the monster started to float off the ground...
The monsters primal nature forced itself thru its blood and it suddenly became viloent...It started to swing and kick around it with force trying to strick at anything near by...A crunching ROARW escaped its chest and echoed the entire room...Shaking a few loose random objects around it...
Surprised, Bekah dropped the monster. Wide-eyed, she tried to calm it. As that didnt work, Bekah feared it would destroy the house, so quickly Bekah jumped upon its back and teleported them outside.
The sudden enviromental chainge distracted the monster but amplifyed its anger...Its blood flushed thru its body pumping its heart wild...Just as wild as the monster swung around it trying to throw its attacker off...With its long arms it reached behind it from underneath tightly grabing the foot of the red hair attacker...With full force the monster pulled her downward...
Bekah slammed against the cold hard floor with a thump! Scared Bekah mealted through the ground, and popped up behind the monster, dodging its wild attacks.
She vanished into the ground leaving the monster standing alone...~<RATURA MAHH>~the monster growld...As the red hair started to emerdge from the ground she only saw the back end of the monster...on all four in full sprint on it way back inside...
Realived, Bekah sat down on the patch of grass, fumbling with her long red hair. Woried if her new friends would hate her for after what she did..
The monster reached the entrance of the Lighthouse and began to beat it long powerful arms on the door...Scratching and kicking the monster began to rip small pieces off...
Bekah relized 13 was killing the Lighthouse and ran at lightning speed to stop it. "13!! NOO!" Bekah screamed, her red hair danced in the up coming wind, looking like fire. Her skin sparkled like a thousand diamonds, her fangs shone in the sunlight. She actually looked dangerious. Running at top speed, slightly levetating it again and placing it down far from the Lighthouse. She was serious now. "BAD! NO!" Bekah yelled at 13 again.
Elwyne watched as Bekah talked to her friend and said nothing, simply curious about where they were and the strange "shopping bag" on the table. When her monster friend started attacking she started to try to get its attention, but not before Bekah and it vanished together. "What's going on?" She asked and hearing noise from nearby rushed to where the now called "13" was attacking the door. She tried to get the door open so she could find out what was going on and called. "Hey! What's wrong? I'm in here!"
Ascriot ran to 13 adn Bekah, pushign Bekah to teh side. sHe walked up to 13 slowly. It's alright baby.. she didn't mean to hurt you... Its' alright She crooned.
Bekah sighed, crossing her arms. "It probablly doesnt even understand you, Ascriot. So dont bother." Bekah said, turning away.
Ascriot jsut sighed and shook her head.
Astrid trotted to the door to see what all the noise was and to see where that incredible psychic energy was coming from. It wasn't as powerful as his love Ascriot's but strong none the less. He got to the door only to see a monster being comforted by Ascriot, and the recently changed Bekah pouting. He smiles "what did I miss?"
Bekah glanced over towards the doorway, and smiles. Nothing much, I was just practicing my psychic powers on the wrong student. Bekah thought and looked over at Ascriot and the monster, 13. Bekah rolled her eyes and looked away. I'm still figuring out how to fly though, you know how? Bekah asked Astrid, while glancing at the sky.
He smiles running his tongue over his fangs and floats up into the air, his skin glimmering in the sunlight as he levitates out of the shade "Of course I can dear. Care to join me...I think you two need a break from each other anyway." he blows a kiss to his love Ascriot and then holds his hand out to Bekah.
Bekah hesitated for a moment, "But..I cant fly." Bekah argued taking his hand anyway.
"Well thats what I'm here for." he says grinning.
Ascriot just rolled her eyes. You giant flirt. she shot at him before walkgin into the house.
Astrid raises his eyebrow smirking "I'm only teaching her what you taught me love. Your the one that taught me to soar remember..." he says telepathically.
Ascriot sat on a windowsill. How could I forget...?
Bekah looked at Astrid curiously. Wait, how is this going to work? You're not going to let go once we're 10,000 feet off ground will you? Bekah wondered letting go of his hand.
