Theo's Portfolio

Theo unlocked the front door and held it open for Alexis, he let the boy enter the apartment before he locked the door behind them. "Do you want me to get you anything to drink Alexis?"

Alexis thought a moment, and he remembered they use to sneak drinks from his parent's bar when they stayed the night at his old house. "I think...if you have...well...a suicide?" He asked with a small blush. It had been the very first drink he and Theo had ever tried to make out of Alexis' mother's mixed drink book.

Theo smiled at the request "You could if I had the stuff needed for it. It is basics in my house at the moment, I really need to go shopping."

Alexis blushed again and looked at the floor, then he realized where he was and looked around the apartment, "Wow....your place is amazing!"

Theo laughed lightly "Why thanks, you like it better than my old place?"

Alexis had to admit it was indeed better than his old place, there was way more room. Lots more sunlight and it was decorated right out of a magazine. "Yes! But I miss the old place too...maybe, we could make new memories here?" he asked hopefully.

"I hope we make many memories here" Theo smiled "Do you want me to take your coat for you?"

Alexis smiled and unzipped his coat and shurgged it off before handing it to Theo. "Yea..it's kinda warm in here, I might over heat." He blushed again and looked at the floor.

Theo took the coat with a grin as he hung it up, taking off his own and doing the same "We can't have that now can we?"

Alexis shook his head and let his eyes rise slowly to meet Theo's. "Yea...that would be bad, which reminds me..." He dug into his pocket and pulled out a small orange bottle, he popped the white lid off and pulled out a small pink pill, "Can I have a glass of water please?" he asked.

Theo looked at the bottle rather suspiciously, not remembering him taking any medication before "Of course" he said as he got a class out of a cupbaord, filling it with cold water from the tap he handed him the glass then said quietly "Are you ill?"

Alexis nodded softly but didn't speak, but excepted the glass of water. He put the pill in his mouth and took a swallow of water and set the glass down on the counter before putting the cap on the bottle and putting it back in his pocket. "It was right after my parents forced us apart...I got really really sick. My parents thought I was faking. I started to get really weak, to the point where I couldn't do anything but lay in bed all day. The old butler saved my life...he finally called a doctor." He didn't say anything else after that.

Theo looked at him, not being able to hold the worried expression away from his face "Are you going to be alright...I mean, the pills, they aren't forever right? You will get better?"

Alexis held onto the counter for a moment, the pill was going into affect, after a moment he spoke, "I take the pills till the doctors figure out what's wrong with me exactly. The medicine I just took helps strengthen my organs and kill of any virsus or anything alien in my bloodstream. But...as long as I take my medicine I'll be fine." He didnt sound so sure, in fact his voice shook. But he turned around and gave Theo a big smile, "I'm fine for the moment...what do you want to do?" he asked brightly.

Theo held back from speaking a moment, he gently took Alexis' hand, to stop the checking "I will look after you if you get sick, you know that right? I don't want anythng to ever happen to you"

Alexis smiled softly and lifted Theo's hand to his lips and kissed it. "I know..you'd never let anything bad happen to me when I was with you remember? You'd beat up everyone who picked on me, and remember that evil tyrant Maxwell Bates? You nearly killed him when he shoved me off the pier and I nearly drowned. I know I'm safe when I'm with you Theo..." a small blush covered his cheeks but he smiled nonetheless.

Theo smiled as the boy blushed "Your so cute." he put his hand to Alexis' cheeck as he said this, and lightly kissed his lips.

Alexis blushed even brighter at the kiss, but the moment Theo's lips touched his he stopped blushing and he returned the kiss. He wrapped his arms around his Theo's neck.

Theo pulled back for a moment, not enough so that Alexis could keep his arms around his neck "I have really missed kissing you..."

Alexis blushed and smiled softly, "I've missed being kissed by you..its like you never left...I don't ever want you leave again." He hugged the othe rmale close, and rested his head on his shoulder.

Theo wrapped his arms around the other male "I won't leave you...I didn't leave you...but no one is goin to get in the way here are they?"

Alexis snuggled close and took a breath, "You smell good...no...they won't I'll make sure of it. My parents don't visit for another six months. And my aunt will love you and treat you like the son she never had."

Theo pulled away from the boy, an out of character thing to do so harshly "I um...I have an appointment this afternoon, you can stay here if you want, it's up to you, and shopping - i need to go shopping..." He trailed off into his own thoughts.

Alexis blinked and let his arms drop to his side, "I guess I could go back to my Aunt's house, I do need to check in with her...how long...till your appointment?" Alexis didn't know what he had said, but he knew that gap between them had gotten just a littler wider.

"About an hour, I'm sorry Alexis I completly forgot! You know what I am like with remembering things don't you?"

Alexis smiled and nodded, "Yes...I do...don't worry about it Theo. We can hang out till you have to go, and I'll leave with you and then head over to my Aunt's house." He smiled brightly to hide he was a little sad at the turn of events.

"I can pick you up after I'm done if you want, I won't be late, we could...rent a movie or something, like we used to"

Alexis brightened up at that thought, "That would be great! Are you still a major horror fan?" He asked. When they were younger Theo would make Alexis watch all types of horror movies that would make him squeal and shake with fright, and Theo would hug him and hold him. The memories made him smile and he laughed softly.

"Of course!" Theo laughed "I think there are some good new oens out actually, unless fo course you want to see a romance like usual?" Theo mocked him with a smile.

Alexis blushed furiously and crossed his arms in front of his chest with a mock pout, "Just because I don't like to see people butchered by someone with huge mental issues doesn't mean you get to make fun of me! And what's wrong with a good romance movie! I don't seem to remember hearing you complain!" He stayed pouting for a minute before giggling, "I'd love to watch a horror movie right now...my aunt has tons of old romance movies and I've had my fill!"

"Why would I complain? It made you happy to watch those films didnt it?" Theo smiled.

Alexis smiled and nodded, "Yea...I guess your right! So...what do you wanna watch?" He looked around for the usual stack of movies and was surprised to not see any.

"What? right now?" Theo glanced up to the clock on the wall "Um well, like I said we could rent something out later?"

Alexis nodded and sighed softly, "Ok...but I have it memorized and I won't forget!" He gave Theo a mock evil eye and shook his finger, "And don't you try and weazle out of scaring me with spooky movies either!"

"Why do you think I am going to let you down?" Theo asked simply, putting some of his plates away that he had washed that morning.

Alexis lowered his hand and sighed, "No...I..was trying to be cute...I guess it didn't work..." He turned around and started to look for the closet his jacket was in.

Theo looked back at him for a moment as he put the last of his stuff away "You want to leave?"

Alexis shook his head, "No...I'm memorizing where the closet is...I want to remember everything about your apartment." He said as he turned around and smiled.

Theo raised an eyebrow with a smile "Is that so? Well, feel free to look around then" He gestured airliy to around the apartment.

Alexis smiled like a little kid and started to look everywhere in the apartment, taking everything in that he could. He didn't open any drawers, but he looked at them then moved on to other things. After five minutes he smiled, "All done!"

Theo laughed "Wow that was quick, you used to take ages studying every detail of every little thing."

Alexis blushed, "Well....I didn't want to invade your privacy so I didn't go through all your drawers and stuff. It would be rude..." He bowed his head slightly and looked at the floor.

Theo laughed again "You used to love digging through my stuff, don't you remember me catching you sooo many times looking through my things?" He smiled.

Alexis smiled and nodded, "Yup, you blushed when I found a giant stack of porn magazine's in the closet in the hat box with flowers on it! Wait....is that an ivitation to look through your stuff?" he asked with his eyes twinkling.

"Like you complained about finding that" He grinned "And no, but I am just letting you know that I know you are gonna do it anyway"

Alexis blushed darker and went back to where he saw some drawers and harumped at them. After staring at them for a few minutes he opened the one on the bottom. Inside was a thick white folder with the word Portfolio in bold letters. His curiosity getting the better of him he picked it out of the drawer and opened it up. Inside were amazing shots of Theo in different outifts and poses. Wow....these are amazing..he never told me he did modeling...

Theo saw Alexis looking at the draws and smiled, before he saw him opening them he amde his way up the spiral staircase to his bedroom to find some clothes to wear out that afternoon.

Alexis smiled as he listened to Theo go upstairs but he kept looking at the Portfolio. They were really amazing shots, but when he got to one picture is seemed someone was almost cropped out of the photo, he had long white hair, and a cruel smile almost, but it could just be his imagination. He kept going through the portfolio and when he got to the back there was a folded piece of paper with Theo's name on it in red ink. The writing was curvy and powerful. Ok...I'm all about snooping...but...that would be an invasion of privacy...

Theo sighed as he looked at the clothes in his wardrobe I really need to get some new things... he thought to himself, frowning at the bland collection of clothes he had.

Alexis stared long and hard at the note, he didn't want to open it, but he did at the same time. Finally he set the folder down and picked up the note, it was folded a couple times so he had time to rethink as he tried to open it.

Theo closed his wardrobe and decided that what he was wearing was good enough for that afternoon. He sat down on the bed and thought for a moment Why am I thinking about clothes when Alexis is down there? he had missed the male so much, now he was here he didn't know how to express these feelings for him.

Alexis was staring at the wall in front of him, he had gotten the letter open and didn't want to look at it, it would be the biggest invasion of privacy he had ever commited. Come on...it's just a note, it can't be bad. You can read it just look at it. The little devil on his shoulder was speaking and he was really close to listening to him. The angel was silent taking time to find the right words. After a moment is spoke, You know you'll read it, you want to know everything about him, he seems sort of like a different person to you, and you want to know what has changed. Read it.. and with ap oof both hallucinations of his mind were gone and his eyes were reading the note.


Theo,

I hope you had fun at the photo shoot, I know I did, especially when everyone else left and it was just you and me, I loved the show you put on. I can't wait to see you again next thursday. Another shoot, make sure you wear something a little more...sexy...that way its easier for me to rip it off of you and have my way with you....and remember, your carrer rides on how happy you make me.

Alexis shook with barely concealed huert and anger towards this Nick bastard. He had never wanted to kill someone in his entire life, but right now he would love to plunge a big butcher knife into this bastards heart.

Theo heard Alexis rummaging a bit downstairs and made his way back down "Hey, what did I tell you, I knew you would look through the draws" He laughed, not noticing what Alexis was reading.

Alexis nodded and hastily put the note back into the Portfolio and picked it and showed Theo what he found, "Yea, been looking at your portfolio, its really good! You never told me you were interested in modeling!" He didn't want to talk about the note just yet, his brain needed to process it all first.

"I'm not really, but, it get's me some money so it's ok, you know, my parents say I have to atleast pay for my food...which is why I currently dont have any" He smiled "You know, you would make a good model"

Alexis blushed and the note was momentarrily pushed from his mind, "Really? Me a model? Are you serious?" He was blushing really red now, but the note came back into his head with a vengence. "Ummm....Theo...can I ask you something?"

"What, you want me to get you a photoshoot?" He laughed lightly "Why would I not be serious? You know that I don't lie"

Alexis couldn't hold his smile, he let it go and his face grew serious. He opened the portfolio and flipped to the back where he pulled out the note, "Can...I ask about this?" he asked in a soft tone.

Theo simply took the portfolio and note from the boy and put it back in the drawer "It is pretty self explanitory isn't it?"

Alexis nodded, "I see..." He didn't say anything else, he just simply stared at Theo. He moved all his weight to his left foot as he stood there silently, not speaking just letting the silence fill the space between them. This was a tactic he had used before, he knew Theo hated silence especially after something like the note was just discovered. In a few seconds he would snap and start talking. It always worked, and for some reason only with alexis.

Theo sighed and looked at Alexis "What do you want me to say Alexis? Should I have to explain myself to you? For something that happened when you were not here?"

Alexis shook his head, "No...you don't have to explain yourself Theo..you never did. I'm...just...dissapointed and angry...but not at you...at Nick...who is taking advantage of you...people like him, they don't deserve to exist." Alexis moved to the closet that held his coat and slipped it on around his lean frame. He turned his eyes back to Theo, they held warmth compassion, love, and understanding. He walked over and gently kissed Theo's cheeck. "I'll see you soon...I left my cell number on the coffee table..give me a call when you wanna hang out." Alexis walked to the door and opened it, and closed it softly behind him, for a moment he leaned against the closed door, tears silently streaking down his face, before he wiped them away and left the building.

Theo's Cell phone made a beep as it recieved a text message from someone.

theo looked down at his phone and picked it up to open to message.

The message was from Alexis:

Theo I'm sorry for asking about the note, it's none of my business. I hope everything is ok between us, I'd hate to lose you having just found you. If you want, why don't you come over to my aunt's house? Here are the Directions to my Aunt Cassandras Home if you wanna come and talk. I missed you, and I still love you.

Theo read the text message and put the phone into his pocket, he picked up his car keys and made his way outside to where it was parked and began to drive.
