Poem's Title: Dieing Inside
Poem:
dieing on the inside,
smiling on the outside,
wishing i was dead;
self corrupted in my head.

And on the floor,
My blood runs from my wrist.
Theres nothing to stop it now,
no way to save me,
I couldn't save myself tonight.

Theres a knife by my feet,
i fell from my seat,
as my life blood flowed from my body.
I'm dead tonight.
I didn't say goodbye,
its not like you'd have noticed anyways.

When i ran away,
no one followed me.
I was left alone,
to die in the shadows
I screamed and I cried,
regretting my life,
so this is my..last goodbye.

Its ok, because we all hate me.
Its ok, since no one cared,
I didn't mean to do this to you,
i really thought that no one cared.
I wanted to die for you.

Theres a knife by my feet,
i fell from my seat,
as my life blood flowed from my body.
I'm dead tonight.
I didn't say goodbye,
its not like you'd have noticed anyways.

My heart has turned to stone,
my ashes fade away in the night
the memory of me is gone like my soul is.
i faded away..into the night..

Poem's Title: Once I Died
Poem:

Once a blade, once I died,
Blood across the starry sky,
In the rage of a once-living race,
Once by steel of stars I died.

Once a bullet, once I died,
Me across a man’s creation
In the glory of a victor
Once by man’s fortune I died

Once a ship, once I died,
Scattered over the night time sky,
In the heat of contested space,
Once by machine I died.

What am I? I am Man
Across the many stars I span
Yet not even once
My lesson have I learned
Guessing at a forgotten poem.

Poem's Title: Divinity's Conundrum
Poem:
“I thank you all for standing tall,
And giving me a job.
Without your aid, they'd be afraid;
There'd be no one to rob.

It's you, the good, the ones who could
Allow them to be scared.
If you just left, there'd be no theft,
Because they'd be prepared.

So please remain; I can't contain
The happiness I feel.
If you left town, they'd bolt it down,
And then it's hard to steal.

Say it with me, you must agree,
We need each other now.
Without the fame, without the blame;
We'd get along, but how?”

“Though I'd prefer not to concur
You have a point, my friend.
The people think that, should they blink,
Their lives would come to end.

If they but knew the truth we do
Their minds would fill with doubt,
And sooner than a day would span
We'd find ourselves thrown out.

I must resort to their support
For fear they'll overthrow;
Then they'll take back that golden stack,
And I'll be forced to go.

With not a smirk I say your work
Needs me like mine needs you.
Were one to die, just say goodbye,
Because we'd both be through.”

Poem's title: A Promise
Poem:

Sitting in the shower
the water rushing over her,
Ice cold, but she has no feeling,
she’s been sitting there for hours.
Head hurting, everything a blur;
Face in her knees; crying.

Her heart gives a yank,
He's already gone.
They don't want her to see him anymore.
Her chest sank,
everything went wrong.
Her head still pounding and sore.

She rocks back and forth on her knees.
Her life seems to have no meaning,
everything becomes so dim.
Her thoughts won't let her be
as she tries to wake, but she's not dreaming.
Only restraining because of a promise;
"I Promised Him".

Poem's Title: Distant Love
Poem:

Could you love from afar?
Wishing upon a distant star?
This overwhelming attraction, I constantly pursue.
I would give anything just to be with you.

This terrible feeling, this unquenchable thirst,
My wounded heart is ready to burst.
Day after day, I am wasting away.
My being, my soul is in disarray.

Such is the price of emotion; it costs.
What a cruel curse, this feeling of loss.
Sometimes I wish I could not feel.
How great it would be, to have a heart of steel.

To not have a care, it would be easy to bear.
It’s a naïve wish, I am painfully aware.
But I am stuck, with the same question.
Stuck in my unhealthy obsession.

Could you love from afar?
Wishing upon a distant star?
I can still hope, somehow, someway,
We will be together, someday.
