History: Nadya Amberlin was the only child born to her mother that was not born Phral, or full gypsy. Her father was a gage, or non-gypsy, that her mother had fallen in love with, believing that he was different than other gage. Her father, Seji, wed her mother, Ezmerelda, in the traditional way, and joined the Rom/Gypsies on their travels. It was not long before winter came, as did Nadya's own birth. She was born on a day of superstition, the 13th day of December on a Friday, the year being 1813. She was born with a crescent moon birthmark on her right shoulder. Life for Nadya, or as her father called her Demi, was peaceful growing up. But peace did not stay, for one day Seji's eyes turned cold to Ezmerelda. Many a time, Nadya came across her parents fighting.
 It was when she was 2 1/2 years old when her father took her and disappeared into the night. Nadya/Demi would always ask Seji about why they left, but he would never tell her. She would also ask about going back to the Rom and to her mother, and her older siblings (Siblings from her mother's first husband who had been killed). Seji settled him and Nadya in a little town many miles from where she had left her Rom family.
 Life in the town wasn't peaceful as it was on the road. Her gage father started to show his true colors, making it so that Nadya's childhood ended upon settling down. She had always been smart, and a fast learner, but her father took that to his advantage. She was made to have no time for play, for all she was a maid, cook, etc to her father now. By the time she was 7 years old, Nadya stopped seeing him as her father. It wasn't until sometime after her 9th birthday, that Nadya found a way to escape her 'father'. She ran with what little she owned after putting Seji into a drunken sleep.
 Once Nadya left, she started her search for her Rom family. She traveled by foot, using the skills that had been started originally started to be taught to her by her mother, but she was afraid that she wouldn't be wanted back. As she traveled, Nadya would every so often touch her left arm just above the elbow. There the skin and bone was still tender, but the memory of the broken arm given to her by Seji just made her continue on her journey. It was a few months after she had runaway from her father, when she had been in France and was attacked. Nadya was attacked and left for dead. She doesn't know how she survived, but she did. She didn't age, never changing, with a thirst for blood.
 Since that time Nadya has traveled Europe and the Isles of Great Britain. She has actually lived in many of the same places over the decades, choosing to live to hide who she is or actually what she is. During this last century, the 20th century, Nadya has lived in the same town in Ireland a few times, but each time someone she knows or just met vanished, making her think that it was her fault. After the third time someone she knew disappeared, Nadya left Ireland completely, ending up in Germany. Though living there was not fun, it was WW2 (world war II) and the whole time she spent in the concentration camps across Germany, 'dying' at almost all of the camps, escaping a few times, even being hidden away by a nice young man during the last year of the war, her disappearing into the night when she knew it was safe. Nadya would have stayed with the young man a while longer, but she feared that he would disappear on her to. Nadya numbers him as her true 'father' because of how kind he had treated her.
Nadya ended up back in that small town in Ireland for a month after the war, meeting a nice young lady of the Faulter family, but when she disappeared, she ran...even fearing that the young man from Germany who had helped her had vanished like all the others.
Nadya has been in hiding for the past 59 years, never staying in any place for more than a few days to rest.

Being in town during the disappearances of Venney Calter and Anna Mcfollow in 1929 (she had befriended them), Bonny Mccalistor in 1939 (having been taken in by the woman), and last one of the Faulter family (a young woman, Nadya never got her name, just knew that the lady loved art)
Items of Importance (if any): Red-Jade ring (had been her mother's, her father had taken it), a green oak leaf necklace in some woods near Calsax, when she put it on she passed out and when she woke up it was day, anything that she is able to get her hands on to survive

Description: A woman of great beauty who stands at a dainty five foot six inches, her hair long down to her ankles the color of spun gold glistening in the sunlight. She always wears it back in a long braid running down her back with chin length bangs that frame her beautiful face. Her eyes shined the color of fresh grass in the spring on the emerald isle of Ireland. Popping against her skin pale like the light of the moon. Her body a temple from her life as a fertility and earth goddess for the humans back many years ago. She stays in simple conservative garb hiding what she once was.
Profession: Business Owner: She’s the owner of a book store (Wind Song Books) in this Calsax but in the back of her store she carries rare items and artifacts for her Fae kind.
History: Born in the Seelie court located in the northern part of Ireland she lived amongst her people as a healer and a wielder of earth and plant magics but she grew tired of the games of court and wanted to be free. So twenty years ago she escaped the courts and her position their and found her way to this Calsax where she runs her bookstore and tea house. But in the backgrounds she carries magical items and documents for the people of the Fae who come seeking her. She also sometimes is sought out as a healer for her people as well.
Personal experiences (if any): Living in court for many years she didn’t get to see the outside world outside of her faerie mound change so for the past twenty years she has been learning and getting used to living her life among the humans of this century.
Items of Importance (if any): The sigil of the dragon king a golden pendent carrying a large emerald. A magical item said to be a gift and connection to the dragons wherever they may be. She also had the ring of Gaia a special ring that is said to be a gift from the titan Gaia herself a gift to enhance ones power of earth, healing and fertility magics.

History: Elda came from a broken family. Her mother got custody of her older brother and her father got her. Her father was a drunkard that would verbally abuse Elda and use her as a slave. One night He forced her. Elda tried to tell the authorities but they wouldn't believe her. When she became pregnant by her fathers hands he beat her in anger claiming she was a slut and was sleeping around. He beat her so hard it caused her to miscarry. She was only fourteen when this happened.
When she was sixteen her father became more violent and in one of the many attacks he launched at her she tried to defend herself. She accidentally killed her father. Knowing the police wouldn't believe her, and distrusting males, she fled into the night. She has been on the run since, stealing and lying to survive.
She originally came from England but made her way to Ireland, putting as much distance as she could from the foul nightmare of her past. She is distrustful of people, especially men.

History: Due to her strange heritage she was faced with open hatred from a young age by the Seelie court. When she was young she fled the Court in search of finding a place for herself. She is a kind-hearted young woman. She has healing abilities, the abilities of her race and a sixth sense at times. She has a connection to the Seelie king and rumor has it she is his daughter. To escape notice she changed her name.
She is a mystery writer and is currently having difficulty selling her works due to stress of trying to find a place to live. Currently she is even having problems making ends meat even though she is a brilliant writer. She does stitching as a hobby and is into the occult, and earth medicine.
When she experiences extreme emotions her eyes turn to red with a emerald tint.

History: Tsura is the daughter of the leader of a hidden society of werewolves. What Tsura knows of her mother though come only from stories that her father has told her. Her mother had died in child birth, and Tsura was the only child of the litter of six her mother was birthing to live. Her father is a good man, and loves his daughter very much. Others, however, believe that she was cursed from birth, and that she would bring about the death of their hidden society. Her father does not believe this at all, which has make many question his ability to be able to lead the society. Out of love for her father, Tsura left their 'world', leaving her father a note to not worry, and heading out into the world. Tsura takes care to hide her werewolf lineage on her journey, because of what had been told in the stories. Tsura hides under the disguise of a human, traveling with a few personal items, along with her actual supplies.
Personal experiences (if any): Her life; Her 'family' was curse into becoming werewolves, though sins committed by her ancestors, but she doesn't know this....her ancestors had come from Ireland. Her 'people' live now in the mountains of the main continent of Europe. She also developed some abilities not see in her tribe.

History: Tainn is from Texas. She is the daughter of a Cherokee mother and a Irish father. She grew up on a ranch in which her parents had started together. When she was little her mother would always sing her the song "Butterfly Kisses", Tainn's favorite song, to help her go to sleep. It was her love of this song that prompted Tainn's parents to nickname her 'Butterfly'. When Tainn was 7 years old, her mother died of the flu. The death broke her father's heart, making him to become over protective of Tainn, especially when it came to boys when she got older. Unknown to her father and everyone else, Tainn was the victim of an attempted rape by a man with red eyes and sharpened teeth. She was able to escape, and even has been able to completely keep it from her father. Tain helps, and has been helping since her mother's death, run the ranch with her father. While working on the ranch, or even just riding her black stallion Midnight, Tain sings to herself the "Butterfly Kisses" song in memory of her mother. Since she was 6 years old, Tain has been a champion horse rider, climbing through the levels quickly. Just one month ago, her father has moved them to Ireland, to his family's old home, where he had learned ranching himself. Her grandparents are dead.

History: When Raya was born it killed her mother. Her father though grieved loved and cared for her deeply. It wasn't until Raya was three that they discovered she wasn't like other children. Her father came home to find Raya feeding on the babysitter. the babysitter had to be taken to the hospital and Raya couldn't remember drinking the babysitter's blood. her father wasn't sure what to think of this but he guarded his daughter even more fiercely. When she started school she attacked another student who got a scrape that bled on the playground, this forced them to relocate. Eventually when she turned 15 they stopped having to move around and things started to become a little more peaceful for her and her dad. But that peace didn't last long. One day Raya returned from school to find her father hanging in the living room, she cut him down and tried to save him but was unable to do so. When paramedics arrived they declared he was dead. This happened a two months ago. After that she was placed with a foster family. The night her father was buried Raya snuck out to his grave and watched over his grave. She fell asleep and one of the band members Ryu of the band 'Demons Rising' spotted her and tried to see if she was ok. After awhile they forged a friendship (the first friend she ever had) and discovered she had a talent for singing. She now is living on her own near her friends' place (the band took a liking to her as well). The band in a short time has gained a large reputation.

History: Ruaera Hlaeghymm is the daughter of a mortal woman and immortal father. Her mother had been a very power human seer, gifted with true sight. Her father was a Fae noble man with a truly ‘magical’ gift for music, being able to manipulate people to do his biding as well as being able to manipulate their emotions through different musical pieces. When she was born, both of her parents felt the great power within her, the blending of two gifts, able to use both gifts at the same time. Growing up, her parents tried to hide her away from the world, so that she’d be safe for any who would use her gifts for their own end, human and fae alike. She started to learn to control the gifts that she was born with, even telling her father, one night that she wished to help mortals and fae discover the dreams within them. Ruaera always seemed to be missing something when it came to her gifts. When she was 14 years old, Ruaera was out in her mother’s garden behind her home when she heard the scream. Her mother’s scream. She ran around the side of the house to see her mother being slowly tortured, finishing with her mother’s beheading. Ruaera screamed, too afraid of what she had seen to do as her parents had told her or to use her abilities. She was then captured by the fae that had killed her mother, she never knew what happened to her father. Ruaera was brought before the king, who demanded that Ruaera do as he demanded, using her gifts to help him control the world. Even at 14, Ruaera knew that she didn’t want to hurt people, she wished to help them see and discover their own beautiful dreams. Ruaera refused him, in anger, the king ordered for her eyes to be cut so that she may never see any of the beauty the world would ever bring to life. She screamed. The king demanded again, threatening to kill her father. She loved her father, and now she knew he lived, but she was so scared for him that Ruaera passed out. She went into a coma of sorts, a dreaming state. The king had her placed in a circular room. The next day, a floor harp had appeared in a part of the room that looked out a medium size window. The sleep or dreaming state she had gone into was a deep one, taking her deep within herself to the core of her gifts. For 5 centuries, Ruaera layed in the rounded room, aging 5 years in just the first century. She has not aged since. The king continues to try, just as he had at the beginning, to draw out her gifts and use them as his own, with no success. She was later moved, the harp remaining in the rounded room. She was moved to a hide away, as the king was no longer the king, having had his throne taken from him. He now wishes to use Ruaera’s gifts to control the new king/queen. Ruaera is still with the dream state mastering her gifts, with assistance from higher forces, but now she has reached the top of her conscious dream, and has discovered that while she is asleep, she is able to create a solid spiritual self that is able to walk within the realm of the Awaken. The new king/queen has heard a sad melody coming for the abandoned room where the harp still stands. She has only just started to explore the world outside the realm of the Fae, beginning to explore the realm of the mortals. A lot has changed.

History: Nemesis is a fae from a court from the East. She came to Ireland on an assignment, and like it so much that she stayed. Nemesis was never apart of the seelie or unseelie courts in the East, and never joined one in Ireland. She is an assassin for hire, working for the one that can pay her more. Her past in the Eastern courts is a mystery, as is her time in Ireland. No one has ever seen her when she’s not working a job, keeping her personal life completely separate from her assassin life. Nobles are able to call her by burning sage and juniper in a bed of green flames. Nemesis is accompanied by a large white tiger, that comes and goes like the wind.

History: Isabel was the youngest daughter of the McKnight Family, a well respected noble family. She was unlike her older siblings, as well as the rest of her family. Isabel was rebellious, always running off from classes to ride the family horses, sneaking around to be as learned as brothers, and practicing sword and dagger fighting in the dead of night. However, she still only wore what skirts and dresses she of a woman of her status. Isabel grew up into a beautiful young woman, and eventually got marry. She loved the man with all her heart, but one night she was betrayed by him. The man turned out to be a vampire, and one night, he forcefully embraced her. Isabel was able to get away from that man, eventually loving another. He, unfortunately, was killed mysteriously, and Isabel believes it to be the work of her first husband trying to get her to come back to him. Isabel decided that it would be best for her to go...so Isabel faked her own death.
Isabel, or Thianna as she goes by now, has traveled all over. Strangely, her vampire fangs are always out, which is okay with her. She has gain the ability to hide her aura, to hide what she is. She has stayed traditional through out the years, that is, she hasn't gone to using guns and the like, but because she doesn't wish to be hurt again, nor be found out for who she is, Isabel has taken to being withdrawn, secretive, emotionless. She hunts for food when the need arises.

History: Hope came from a loving family. When she was 10 her mother died giving birth to her baby brother Leslie. Her father moved them from Scotland to Ireland when Leslie was healthy enough to make the trip (he was born with medical problems).
When Hope was 17 her father vanished on his way to work leaving Leslie and her alone.Hope and her brother were moved to a western part of Ireland to live with their uncle, the only living relative they had. Her uncle was kind but seemed to resent the costs Leslie's medical bills added to the normal bills.
When Hope turned 18 her uncle decided Leslie was costing too much and wanted to place him in a special home. Not wanting to be separated from her brother and fearing he would be mistreated she took Leslie and ran, using the money she had saved for college to get a small cottage in Calsax and care for her brother.
She got a job as a waitress and cared for her brother, hiring help when she was at wok to care for her brother. Soon the money became depleted with the cost of living and medical costs. Hope took a second job as a maid.
Even with two jobs life was still a struggle and she began to despair. One night a strange man approached her as she headed home from work. The man suggested she sleep with him for 3000 pounds. Not wanting to though they needed the money, she began to walk away. Then the man offered 6000 pounds. Her brother was in need of surgery and they needed the money to survive so she reluctantly caved in. The man strangely enough was gentle as though sensing it was her first time.
He constantly returns to her, strangely he returns only when they are in desperate need of money. he is always gentle and she has come to rely on him as a source of survival. Part of her has come to love him and enjoy their encounters though she denies it to herself. She keeps this part of her job from her brother fearing he would be disgusted with her or blame himself.

History: Enna was born in a small coastal village and left with an orphanage. She grew up knowing nobody and nothing of her lineage. When she turned 15 she ran away to make her own living and ‘discover’ herself. She’s been gifted with strange powers since early childhood and is still only just learning to control them.
At 17 she discovered an older sister in an inland village and slowly they got to know each other. A year later her sister went out and never returned. Since then Enna has spent her time seeking out her missing sister and learning her own trade.(history is incomplete, I want to write more on it when I am more inspired..)

When her mother bore child and gave birth to another girl her father learned of the affair and forced her mother to leave the child with an orphanage. Lenus didn't know much about the situation at the time, but for a good portion of her life she sought out the sister she never knew, while running her floral shop and staying a single woman. Eventually she met Enna, and knew right away that Enna was her sister. They stayed together for a year, and one day when Lenus went on a delivery... She never returned.
