Preparing to leave for Chicago to visit my buddy over spring break. I'm so fantastic it's ridiculous.

It's been a while since I've played Arm (www.armageddon.org) and I seem to have forgotten how much of my time it used to take up. Once I quit, I'd spend hours trying to figure out what else to do, alone, before I'd decide to go out or something. Don't get me wrong; I dig solitude. That's why I do it. But there's a difference between being alone and being occupied and being alone and being bored. So I'm occupied again. Damn, it sure is about as fun as I remember. The good old days.

I bought some prints at the convention. I saw a lot of people. I went to shows. I got beat up by a chick with a stick. I'm so tired at the moment, I'm not exactly sure how long I've been typing this. Feels like hours, or seconds.

I leave for Atlanta the day after tomorrow, very damn early in the morning. I do hope to have some fun and get in some trouble. Why do you never write back, diary?

I've become both excited and disappointed with the computer gaming industry. Operation Flashpoint 2 has been on my mind all day and night since sunday, because the first was such an amazing game. It helped quiet my desire to join the Marines a while back, yet was still fun as sin. But I cringe now at shots of Aliens Vs Predator: Extinction. The AVP strategy game I've been waiting for for so long shouldn't look just like starcraft given a warcraft 3 makeover. There's more to the license than that. I need to buy a scanner.

Built a fence, smoked, wrote up a character for a spetsnaz campaign set in the vietnam era. Exciting day. I need to buy a scanner.

I have lost my pencils. I had derwent sketching pencils that were used to produce most of the drawings on my page. Now all I have is twenty boxes of 12 Portfolio Aquasketch Drawing Pencils. So instead of my F to 9B spectrum, I have 240 6B pencils. I'm also coughing a lot from sandblasting in a giant hand-made cabinet at work. Silicosis for everyone!
