I just voted in the Chinese New Year art contest. I voted "e" but it does not appear to be winning. I thought that image had the most life to it.

Just voted for the Drow elf art. Some good submission, and I enjoyed looking at them. Love the Drow elves. I read The Dark Elf Trilogy by Salvatore years ago and really loved it. The matriarchy of the Drow was really fascinating.

After the lightning strikes

It's hard to keep your spirits up
When you can't see the sky.
And when the darkness comes,
The dragon opens its eye.
The world is on fire.
My chest hurts with grief.
Hard times have come.
I must carry on without relief.
So quickly I forget the good.
I cling to stray scraps of beauty
Before they slip into the choking fume.
I would lose hope except I see
That the garden still manages to bloom.

Surfing around Elf Town, peeking in people's houses. Haven't done much else. I'm feeling kind of shy.

Just was born in Elf Town today. I have uploaded my photo. I did not realize it was going to display so large. Tomorrow I'll have to figure out what else I can do.
