Well I'm doing this on every page I have on all the sites I'm on. Well recently I went down to Atlanta, GA for Dragon-Con and it was my first Con and my first time going to GA period. Well we left Friday about 3pm in a 5 seater car with 6 people. Sadly I was sittin in the back crammed in the middle but it was ok. It was a 4-5 hour drive coming from Johnson City, TN to Atlanta, GA. It was me, my bf, and his friends Josh, Shawn, Eric and Ann. We made the occasional stops when needed and finally made it there between 7-8pm. We managed to fill up the trunk completely with our luggage and costumes. We were so illegal it wasn't even funny. Well we got there and got our shit on the bell hop cart and got checked in to the hotel we were stayin in. We stayed on the 33rd floor of the Marriott. The height bothered me but eventually I got used to it cuz we rode the elevator the whole time up and down. We couldn't smoke in the room so yea. It was 6 people to a 2 bed room and the couples got the beds and the other 2 got the floor. Well we got settled in and me and my bf went and got registered, since we weren't pre- reg. we didn't have to stand in the line that was basically wrapped around the other hotel and the wait was about 2 hours. Ours was only 1 hour. Well after we did that we walked around and really didn't do much since it was only the first day. Well we all crashed out and got up the next morning and got ready for our first full filled day. I got painted up as the Joker from the new Batman movie which looked bad ass and I will have pics on here soon of it all basically. I walked around for the next few days done up like this and had about 15 people takin my picture, which was cool. I went to panels where famous people were talking and the guy that played Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter pointed me out in his discussion and said "There's a joker back there so now I'm kinda scared." So I wasn't worried about not getting his autograph, cuz I scared him so that was good enough for me. The Con had so much to do and we all just split up and went our seperate ways. I just stayed between the Hyatt and the Marriott. I went to panels and the dealer's room and took massive tours more than once of both hotels. I went and checked out the Hilton once or twice just to see what it was all about. I got autographs from Voltaire and Rogue who is the leadsinger of Crushadows (def. recommend you check both bands out. Walked around Atlanta kinda late one night by myself and had about 4 bums walk up to me and one told me he had HIV so I was like I'm not touching you and told them I didn't have $$$ even though I did. Another told me his girlfriend was pregnant in another town trying to make me feel bad for him and I was like really not my fault. The only one that deserved anything was the one that actually bought a cigarette off of me, so I gave him respect. We got food to eat from local restaurants and it was cool cuz when we didn't spend $$$ on food the con was giving away free food so it was all good. We went and saw Voltaire and I waited in line for about 2 hours just to see Crushadows and it was my first time every seeing, hearing them and they kicked ass. Before the MSI show I had been drinkin 3-4 Rum and Cokes so I was pretty lit and me and my bf went to eat and I was tryin to get the shrimp to the top in my food and I was throwing rice all over the place and didn't even realize it. My bf saaid it was embarassing but I just thought it was funny, but after I ate I started sobering up. We also went and saw Mindless Self Indulgence after waiting in line for about 2-3 hours and that was so packed in it wasn't funny. A mosh pit started and everyone was gettin pushed every direction and there was crowd surfers. My bf and I had a bottle of Jack for the lead singer and we finally got it to him. I had to get out of there after a few songs cuz my clausterphobia set in and I got tired of pushing people to get some breathing room. Plus the people that only came to the con to see the band were total assholes and I think they should've had to pay for the whole 4 day pass to even see the show like almost everyone else did. So I took the hero's exit crawling on top of people and then tucking and rollin onto the stage and Jimmy Urine of MSI said "Oooooo is this for me, hope she's not a virgin." I didn't even realize he said it but it was still the shit cuz they kick ass. Then Tuesday we left and enjoyed the 4-5 hour ride home which was worse then goin to GA. The other girl that rode with us slept on the floor the first night then bitched the rest of the time til the last day about being in pain and was over exaggerating on it. So the ride home we had to hear her not too mention she lost her purse and expected us all to go help her find it and I just got out of the hell crowd of the MSI show. So I told her no so she was on her own finding it. The day we left we checked all the drawers to make sure we weren't forgetting anything and boom there was her purse. We all wanted to kill but it was one less thing for her to complain about. But unfortunately on the way home we stopped at one gas station and Eric took the 3 hats he was holdin on his lap and put them on the roof and when we pulled away noneof us heard them roll off the car. So we realized it about 20-30 min. down the road but decided to say oh well cuz it could've been worse. But we finally got to Josh and Shawn's and my bf, Eric and I got our stuff out of the car and helped the boys get their stuff out. We put ours in the car and come to find out that the boys cat Sugar had shredded up the tp and left it all over the room. She let them know she wasn't happy about them leaving her with their roommate that long. But it was so cute cuz she was also lettin them know she did miss them. But we dropped Eric off and went home and bought our shit in and crashed the fuck out. Cuz we were in pain and tired as hell. But all in all it was fun as hell and I do plan to go again next year. I got autographs, a Pirate sword and had the most fun ever.
