So why is it that people cant be happy for other peoples happiness?? Finding someone who loves you for who you are is a rare and unheard of thing. All people change all thru out their life... the people they love, hate, their friends, thier family... everything shapes us into what we become. But only US, OURSELVES can make the finishing touches on who we want to be. If you want to be an amazing artist who travels the world insearch of the perfect scenery, GO DO IT!!!! Let your heart be your guide forever and always. The people you care about will always have an opinion of what you are doing... they will always want the best for you. ONLY YOU know what your heart desires and what is best for you. Believe that you can shoot for the stars and dont settle for the moon. Right now someone may seem like the stars... and that is GREAT. But certainly dont feel bad if you find someone better... just remember that there is a reason you loved this person.
Everyone always says that growing up is the hardest thing to do... i believe them. In finding who we are as individuals we realize that our idols have flaws, our parents arent always right (altho it was easier when they were), and our friends go in different directions than what we choose for ourselves. But the path we take is never WRONG just simply the path that we decided and it is a lesson learned, we fall we get back up... we fall again and get alittle dirty, sit there and go why am I falling and realize that we gotta tie our shoe... lesson learnt. There are no mistakes in life, just lessons that must be learnt and dealt with.
Our parents always mean well, for our safety, health, and well being. They know what they want for us, they want the best possible.... they want us to succeed to our greatest heights, love someone who can give as much care back and help take care of us when we are sick or hurt. and NO ONE WILL EVER BE GOOD ENUFF!!!!!! and that is ok, really and truly, BUT you parents have to remember we have gut feelings and instincts too... and we do know how to use them. Ya becuz we are less experienced, and dont have as much under our belts it'll take us awhile to figure out that there is a problem. Ya it is going to be hard to watch us struggle and possibly skin up our knees, but thats something we have to experience. Being told about it may warn us of the possible dangers of living, and loving but until we know what it feels like to be in that situation we wont learn. And your OUR PARENTS, your the people we are most happy to see ANYTIME AND ANYWHERE! Your the ones that cared for us long before we were born, we will FOREVER be in your debt... WE LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER, no matter how much you dislike our decisions, how much we dislike your opinions of what we do, we will always love you with our entire person.... You will never be replaced, out done, over looked, left behind or forsaken. Your our parents.
When I first heard the song your gonna miss this by Trace Adkins... all I could do was laugh, i wanted to be outta high school and living on my own, i wanted to be FREE! But what i didnt realize was i am free. I have the best parents in the world, they love me no matter how many stupid mistakes i make. I am a typical teenager, im not gonna try to hide it... i want to be out late, be with my friends, have a few drinks, all the teenager stuff... Ya i dont like some of the stuff my parents say and do, but i wouldnt trade them for anything... all they are doing is looking out for me, trying to share their life experiences with me so i dont make the same mistakes. When they talk i do listen, and i take into consideration what they have gone thru, what there 30 years experience over me has tought them. It may seem like im not listening at all when i go and try something for myself, but its a life lesson i have to learn. Granted there are a few things that i wont even attempt. Disliking what your parents have to say is all a part of "growing up" or so im told...
