I think I would like to live in a world that's about 35% water. any more than that, and it's just oodles of bluespace that isn't even of much ecologic value. areas away from the coast are generally very underproductive (extremely simple food chain), so more land probably means more coast, even if it's also more pangaeaesque. would smaller water bodies mean changes in cloud formation rates? what about gyres? I haven't really thought about whether this world even has a moon, but without a moon like ours, would there be any coriolis effect to cause oceanic gyres?
