Now the network is working again. It was just my ISP who had lost most of the world.

*sigh*

Something is seriously broken on the Internet. I can't reach anything outside of Sweden-Finnland-Lettland, not even Denmark. A few people from the USA seems to reach Elftown though, but most can't.

There was an earth quake in the south of the north Atlantic, but I doubt that has anything to do with it. It's probably just my ISP who has messed up badly again.

Sony Cybershot DSC-W120 ultracompact camera review

I've just finished the new smiley faces for the review function, so I have to try it. And it's a good camera.

And the boring was, by the way, not referring to my dictionary, but to that game about looking up sentences. My 5 closest books here are dictionaries actually... Correction: The Italian dictionary is the closest on the closest shelf too, so make it six. Then some phrase-books or some old school books might be the closest, but I'm not sure if the later are just papers.

*checks* OK, the closest except the dictionary is a Swedish stock market guide from 1993 but that might be as close as some 2-8 phrase-books and other dictionaries. It says "Vid beräkningar av nyckeltal där prisrelationstal eller prisändringar ingår används detta aktieslag." (At calculations of key figures where price-relation numbers or price changes are involved, this kind of stock is used.)

It's a little quiet everywhere. Does everyone having it as dark as I?

I've been working on a new art upload feature all day, but it's going slow. Soon done though, and then it hopefully gets easier to organize your art-pages. Well... Maybe not easier, but with less work. And easier to get started on.

As you can tell from my writing, I'm having a little problem on knowing exactly what it is and why it's good.

Cakes for everyone!

Well, at least a digital copy for everyone, because I don't have that much cake:

And instead of finishing my new gallery-function for Elftown, I read logs and babble on Stuff people bought on Amazon.

But now I should start programming again! Real soon... Oh, damn, I should do laundry. <img:stuff/mood12-gif.gif>

I don't know about many Australians, but Stephen Conroy should forever be remembered for his stupidity.

In the mean time, an uprising here in Sweden is shaking the bastards who want to play RIAA and sue kids for sharing music with each others. The proposal seems to be changed as the politicians start to realize that criminalizing what 70% of the population is doing, is a bad start for any election campaign. This particular proposal was about handing out IPs to the people who are sharing to the copy monopoly holders.

I've been working on a new review function for a while now. It's still not working correctly yet though, so it will take a few more days until Elftown gets updated.

The idea is that you fill out one form, and then you'll get a wiki-page created, a diary-note written, an image uploaded and included and the ones compiling the reviews get a wiki-comment in that review-section.

I hope people will start to use that instead of writing diary entries about things they review, because wiki-pages are so much easier to find in a search.

Legalize it...

This is one of the best documentaries I've seen even if I'm really not interested in the legalize-issue. It clearly shows how the USA system (and countries like Sweden, but for totally different reasons) creates madness because there are people with huge profits in it.

It's quite simple: The cops (with related industries) and the criminals want illegal marijuana because it gives them job, and everyone else has to pay for it being illegal:
http://www.mininova.org/tor/1851710
www.elfpack.com/stuff/theunion.torrent
(It's mainly focused on Canada and USA with plenty of nicely shot details about Grow Ups (marijuana-farms cellars)).
