I had the CT scan today. They injected this contrast agent, and I still feel weird... Ugh. Should drink lots to get it out of my system, apparently.
I just sneezed, and my chest hurt. That never happens. Ehe ehe he.</whine>

I'm currently too tired to do anything useful. So I won't probably be on here much today, because I'll just feel guilty. I'm sorry. I just feel so bleh.

I just drew a rough concept sketch for my next tattoo. I'll probably scan and upload it later. It has a swan as the central focus, and slightly behind the swan is a sun with a crescent moon and a star inside it.

Yeah, I'm having way too much fun with my symbology dictionary. :P

My job is... finished. o_O
Now I have to start hunting for another one. <_< Not that I would really need to, since I soon have to begin worrying about where to apply to study, but if I want to go on that trip, then... I need more monies. :P

I think I may be in love.

On my way back home from gaming, I sauntered through the railway station to pass time while waiting for the next bus (grrr at Sunday schedules). not really having anything specific in mind. It's too difficult to try and explain the structure of the station in English, but as I arrived on the underground landing where there are shops, a grocery store and such, I heard someone sing. Street players are not that uncommon a sight, but this one was special. I wandered aimlessly for a couple of minutes, then settled to stand against a pillar, listening and singing along. The player was a young man about my age, perhaps some years older, and a rather cute one at that, with the most amazing voice. I overheard him say to someone that he's sung gospel all his life - well, you could hear that, because he was damn good.
As time passed as it has a habit of doing, I got moving, gave him a few coins and told him what I thought: that he has a fabulous voice. Upon hearing this, he thanked me, saying that his throat was getting to be a bit sore, though. This gave me an idea.
I almost didn't obey the impulse and walked away, but then I figured I had enough time before the bus arrived, turned around, went to the store and bought him a bottle of water.
I felt a tad silly doing that, but the gesture was obviously appreciated, and it felt good.

And it's just... The performance was one of those that pull at your soul, making you feel something akin to love for that person, making you feel so good it almost hurts. What can I say, I love musicians, and I love it if they can make me feel that way.

I hope I get to hear him again, sometime.

Gods, I'm tired.

Just got back from watching 'The Holiday' - an awesome movie, by the way - and walking the dog. Yeah, I'm at my sister's again. I'm staying at her apartment for the weekend, because I have stuff to do and places to be in town for the whole three days to come. First off, there's work tomorrow. Then I'm going to the annual Youth Philosophy Event, which lasts for three days. From there I'm going to go see another movie - 'Pan's Labyrinth' - and then come back here. On Saturday and Sunday I'll be going back and forth between the philosophy event and LG games.

Oh, and I won't be eating much this weekend, since there are only 16 euros in my wallet. :P

I just had a marvellous idea that might solve the travelling problem. If I get another job this winter/spring, and thus more monies, I'll up and take on an interrail trip during the summer - it's cheaper than flying, and I get to see a bunch of countries.

I have no idea how I could forget, especially since I had it in my mind some days ago. Yesterday was the anniversary of my meeting with [nekorin], my dear, beloved big sister. I initially came to know her in a chatroom, but as we discovered we lived in the same town, we thought that meeting in real life would be nice. We met in the small-ish café of Hyvinkää's railway station on the 8th of January, 2002 - and from there began a friendship that I hope will yet last for a very long time to come. She has been an anchor, a last straw, she has saved me. I love her, and can only hope that her own wounds will heal soon. I love her, and even though I sometimes feel I don't appreciate her existence in my life enough, she has had such a big role in it that I could never forget. Sister, this year's songs are for you.

On another note...

Bweeeeeeeee! I'm so proud of Jukka. A publisher has asked him to write an encyclopaedia about roleplaying games after observing his posts on numerous forums and such. *bounce* My boy. <3

Tired. Irate. Too much stuff to do and too little time to do it. Wahhh.

It's so hard to adapt to an actual rhythm after not doing anything but sitting at home for so many months. <_<;;;

I'm at my sister's, dogsitting while she's at the wedding of a friend of hers. I'm supposed to cook something for myself and Roosa (the dog), but I have just made a terrible, horrible, earth quaking discovery - there's no garlic! ;_;

... this is a disaster. There's no soy, either, and the blackpeppers are whole, and I don't know what I'm supposed to use to crush them. There's only whitepepper and paprica. Gaaaaah.

Allergies suck. *twitch* *digs eye out with spoon*

This is incredibly selfish and cowardly of me, I know-- but if facing real life means getting separated from my most important people by distance, then I don't want to.

One of the most annoying things in this world: having a part of a song playing in your head, desperately wanting to know what it is, but googling does not yield a satisfactory result with the keywords you can give it. Argh!
