Finally I wrote a set of lyrics! It's only been like, ehm, at least half a year. It's for the novel, of course.
Eternity tree
Reaching out for the horizon
it rises from stony ground
knotty branches majestic
even when covered only by the wind

standing on the edge of the world

During this waking cycle:
· went for a morning jog (le gasp!)
· emptied dishwasher
· took out the trash
· REACHED 5-BLOODY-K
Will have to try and update DP, too, on the days to come. And read for the development studies exam in December.
For a moment, before I had to buy a new, better shield in place of the one I sold, my character had 4242 GP. Sigh.
3004 words, kthxbye. Personal goal for this cycle achieved an hour and a half ago. I don't really know what I'm still doing awake (catching up on General Debate postings, apparently) so I'll be going to bed right about now. Byez.
Yesterday:
· planned the novel some more
· continued with first stages of bookbinding
· did some crewy stuff
Today:
· wrote wrote wrote and am now over a thousand words over the recommended quota
Gahgahgah. Done with prologue, 1486 words. Trin, you know where to find it. :P For anyone else interested: my NaNoWriMo project of this year is a Harry/Draco band AU fanfiction, and I'll be posting it on LJ bit by bit as I advance. Link will be shared only after the whole thing is finished.

I've been up for about 22 hours now, which, I believe, is my personal record. Rather pathetic on the large scale, but hey, gotta give me some credit since I'm the perpetually sleepy type that could happily snooze all day long. Before you ask, yes, I fully intend to stay awake until this evening. May not be entirely up to me - I wouldn't be surprised at all should my body decide to shut down on its own - but I am going to try. :P
It's a beautiful day, for one thing, and it would be a shame to miss any of it.
I'll take it as an exercise in willpower.
