i put this on an mtv message board cuz somebody was being a jackass! i think it's funny!
and um, i lyke jump around with my guitar in my lyke $80 cargo pants wearing lyke black laced underwear that smell lyke ass...ooooh i am so hardcore...i lyke umm, go to graveyards and spook visitors and lyke, break my guitar on their heads and lyke, bury myself afterwards...o
I am so involved with my own world, it's like i don't really give much about this world anymore. The outside world anyways. The popularity, the outgoingness, the way most people are "cool", partying...... conformity. It all sucks. That's why elftown rocks. There are people on here that see the world like i do. The world outside is like a foreign country. It's not welcoming anymore. Unless you're with people that you can associate with. The world looks down on you if you're different, it's like you can feel the energy around you.

We were taking notes in american history today, and we actually took brief notes on Kurt Cobain and Nirvana!! i didn't know that that's actually a part of americas big history! That's awesome. And wanna know something else? Kurts name was mis spelled. it was spelled "Curt Kobain" . I'm going to bring in my Nirvana cd insert thing and show the teacher how to spell it right! Proving teachers wrong is a guilty pleasure :D
The diary entry below this one...... i don't know if i want to talk to that person anymore. yesterday morning, i saw him talking and walking with a preppy fucking freshmen. They were both smiling and walking the moment away. That's a huge turn off, especially if it is one of those preps that have a mascara obsession and think they're all that......ahhh
worst feeling at the moment - wanting to talk to someone but don't have the guts to. *sighs* NO NOT ON ELFTOWN! i can talk to anyone here in a heartbeat :P I mean in real life... When you'd like to get to know someone and want to be friends but hold back...
There's always that moment in nature that you capture in your memory and can't forget, right? Today I took a walk and it was so nice and warm, but the sun wasn't out. The scent of chamomile filled the air, and the trees are all green. We're ready for summer. The last two weeks of school are dragging by slow, like it doesn't want to leave, yet this year zoomed by so quickly.
Oh my gosh! I've been looking for the title and name of person who sings a song that i've been looking for the past 10 months! Can you believe it? It's called "The Horizon has been Defeated" - by Jack Johnson. All along, I thought that it was either by Sublime or 311! That's how hard it is to find something out if you're as wacked as i am.
I saw the Von Bondies video! And again, i won the race cuz i've heard their song "C'mon C'mon" like, half a month agao! Who, go me. I don't want mtv to play them out though! They're too fun to get ruined. I wanna go to Lollapalooza this summer.
Why is it that when I FINALLY find a great band to listen to (Rooney) ...... then all of a sudden, this morning i'm on the couch in my pajamas eating my breakfast, watching mtv, and all of a sudden, "I'm Shakin'" comes on? Am i having a competition with Mtv to see who can find the better band faster? What's sad is that they play out a lot of great music, and you know how that goes. I love Yellowcard, but seeing "Ocean Avenue" every half hour after a show is over just kills it.
I go through phases on a daily basis, sometimes weekly, or even monthly. Sometimes, it's the way i see the world, and the vibes that i feel. I've been feeling unexplainably great vibes lately. Maybe it's because i am so positive about things and don't give a flying fuck about stupid people. I don't know if it's just me, or others have noticed this too, but i've noticed a 70's and 80's revival going on lately. Is it in the whole world, or certain parts of the world, or is it just on tv, music, media and entertainment? Whatever it is, I embrace it, because it's feel good and i feel comfortable in it. This revival has been happening for around 2 years. Guys grow out their hair, more people skateboard and listen to 70's 80's songs and wear certain clothes that were similar to the styles back then.....And then they get revived. This creates new bands that sound old school, and I love them ALL!!!!! Some include: Rooney, the Von Bondies, the White Stripes or the Strokes. While some come back like Weezer (from the early 90's.), The Ramones from the 70's, or Rancid who's been around for who knows how long.
I've been wearing my hair to school wearing it down naturally. My curls are beautiful. I don't know about your school, but at mine, the hair trend is all about blonde highlights, with straight hair. I don't follow preppie trends. I like to bring my best qualities out of myself and stay unique that way. So what's with several girls starting to wear their hair the same way I do?! Am I starting a new trend? Are we on the verge of ending the old and beginning the new revival? It's all new school, yet old school in a way. But you know what? This is me, this is my phase and I love it.
