I was proven today that God likes me.

I'm telling this story even if you don't want to hear it *continues speaking through multiple gags and from under SilverFire who is trying to shut iippo up by sitting on her* I was going to go home from my friends' house around 3 am (student life, don't ask -_-;) but they said I shouldn't because it's late, I should crash over, but that's something I don't like to do (I'll only stay overnight with people if everyone stays up and we do something fun) so I kept saying that I'll be fine, and my final argument was that I'll be fine, God likes me, nothing bad will happen. Well, they bribed me to stay with coffee and a promise that everyone will stay awake, but when I did go home around 7 am, I got my proof.
I had had my heart set to going to a bakery in the morning and getting fresh baked goods, you know. I was walking towards the shopping precinct, when I saw this rather scary guy walking up to me. I tried to dodge, but he came to speak to me. He wasn't scary, he was a Big Issue -vendor and he had been out all night (his mate had gone drinking, didn't come home, he couldn't crash there) and he had one copy of the Big Issue left. It was the one with Al Pacino on the cover, I had seen it around, but hadn't had the chance to get it. Only problem was that I only had a tenner and the magazine costs 1.40. He had five quid in change. I said I'll take it anyway, and he don't have to worry about the change. So I probably got myself in good terms with that guy. I asked him where I could find a bakery, but he said closest one open would probably be the railwaystation-one. I said it's too far, thanks anyway and off we went to our separate directions. I walk home through the shopping precinct, and I noticed the glassdoors leading to the side-arcade and the round market. They are locked for the night. But now one of the doors was open. Just one. I thought it must be a sign (I honestly thought it a sign, because my earlier words about God liking me were ringing in my head) and so I went to the round market. This was only like 20 minutes past 7, too early for anything to be open, you could think, specially in the market. Some fruit booths were starting to open, meat desks too and after some walking around, I found it. A bakery. I stood there about a happy 10 minutes and the baker let me. Then I told him what I wanted.
-15 fresh rolls
-4 cinnamon buns that had raisins in it
-2 loaf-sort of cookie things that had stuff in them
-1 apple pie
And the sunrise was gorgeus, I was just going up Upper Hill Street outside St. Osburgs, and I took the best photo of the city with the sky and the cathedral towers...
Thank you God.

Dedicating all works to Me in a spiritual frame of mind, free from desire, attachment, and mental grief, do your duty. (3.30)
Those who always practice this teaching of Mine, with faith and free from cavil, are freed from the bondage of Karma. (3.31)
But, those who carp at My teaching and do not practice it, consider them as ignorant of all knowledge, senseless, and lost. (3.32)

One develops attachment to sense objects by thinking about sense objects. Desire for sense objects comes from attachment to sense objects, and anger comes from unfulfilled desires. (2.62)

Delusion arises from anger. The mind is bewildered by delusion. Reasoning is destroyed when the mind is bewildered. One falls down (from the right path) when reasoning is destroyed. (2.63)

The core of Byobu is made with lightweight wood in order to make it as light as possible. Depend on the painting, it is carefully planned to have a good balance of matting and painting.

Major processes

Design: Style and size are planned depending on the painting and the most suitable materials are chosen.

Framework: The core and frame are made as light as possible using lightweight wood such as Sawara cypress or paulownia.

Preparation : Four layers of handmade Japanese paper are repeatedly pasted to increase its strength. This process ensures a foundation of lightweight yet strong Byobu.

Making of paper hinge: Each of the frameworks are bound together with paper hinges to make a 6-folding screen.

Shaving frames: Any gaps which may be seen when the 6 frameworks are put together will be corrected by shaving the wood.

Layers of base papering: To make a smooth surface finish, only edges of the frame are pasted.

Surface preparation: The surface is first covered with matting-paper then strips of gold textile are pasted.

Siding: Paper is pasted on the side of the frames.

Attaching fittings: Real lacquer-ware edges are attached around the Byobu.

Metal fittings: Metal fittings are attached at the edges and corners of the Byobu.

Mounting art: Finally paintings are lined and mounted onto the Byobu.

And then came the day when the art student saw clearly what she was meant to concentrate on for the next three or more years of her life... it stuck her so completely suddenly that she nearly fell from her chair. she thanked God for that awesome idea and got to work. Future is clear... of course, time changes its course constantly so it is impossible to say for sure, but now she had a plan. And she was happy.

Get out a sheet of paper to write on.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have you ever known someone who died? Yes
Who was it? Sakari Rautaheimo, a boy in my class
Is there anything you wish you could have said to them that you never did? I fancied him very much, and I never told him...

Here is the scenario: You are dying in four weeks of a painless disease, and they moved you to a room where only four people can fit in, and you can bring three of your posessions. List these:

People:
1. Mum
2. Isabel
3. Gautam
4. Dad

Posessions:
1. Book I'm reading at that moment (want to finish before, y'know)
2. Any unfinished drawing I might have.
3. Computer with net access so I could sort my shit out

Alright. Why did you pick these people?
I wanted to see them before, y'know (I dont want to say the word so I wont jinx anything), and out of courtesy too a little bit, I doubt I'd really want to see my parents in this sort of state.

Is there anything you'd like to tell them?
Write it down.
"It's ok, it don't hurt or anything. Don't worry bout me, my score with God is settled. I'll get to that green field after the rain soon, real soon. I'll finally meet Him, and I'll get to talk to him, it's gonna be awesome." I'd ask how my dog was doing and would it be possible for him to come see me too.

Next: Two weeks later, your case has worsened, and you can only have two people with you now. Who would they be?

1. Mum
2. Isabel

Why these two? Mum will hopefully bring my dog to see me (no way I'm dying in a hospital, so it's ok). Isabel, because I can tell her anything.
What would you like to tell them? Probably repeat earlier stuff, maybe kid a bit to try to make them feel better "You don't need to worry anymore Isabel, now you have an insider up there, I'll ask God to go easy on you... He'll give you a new nice roommate, ok?"

Next: It is your final hour, and you are ready to die (painlessly). You may see one person.
Who would it be? Gautam
Why them? I would insist to see him last so I'd have something nice to remember.
What would you like to tell them?"You are the best thing ever happened to me" And I'd kiss him (taking that I'm not contagious or icky or anything) and say I'm sorry we never got round to the actual sex-part.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The question is, why haven't you told them already?
Why didn't you get to say that final word to the one who died?
What if you died in the next five minutes, without warning? What you wanted to say has gone unsaid.
Why wait?
If you would tell them when you die, why not tell them now?

Consequences? Whats the worst that could happen? If you would trust them with your secrets at your time of death, the time of which they will remember you the most, why not tell them now?

Argument for art. From "Dead Poets society"

John Keating: We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. To quote from Whitman, "O me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless--of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life? Answer. That you are here - that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse." That the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?

Some poor village is missing they're idiot.
Not all who wander are lost.
Never under estimate stupid people in large groups.
Why do Cats get 9 lives and I don't even get 1?
Reality is a nice place to visit but I don't think I want to live there...
If time is a waste of life and life is a waste of time, lets go get wasted and have the time of our lives!
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the moments that take our breath away
I can only please one person everyday... And today isn't your day!(Tomorrow isn't looking too good either.)
