I have never been so lonely and missed home as much as yesterday. I came home from uni around 2 am last night, walked through the deserted city, there was no one in the whole world but me. I listened to the blackbirds singing - fucking blackbirds in February! I could look up and see the stars and hear the birds but when I looked down again, I saw that I was alone in this filthy, disgusting city, and I couldn't help but wonder, what are we - me and the blackbirds - we illuminated, bright, brilliant creatures doing in this shit-covered place...?
My dears, don't blame yourselves. You can't always be there for me.
If the artist as a person is the primary cause of the work of art, the material means of creating is the secondary cause. As all that appears in the work derives from the artist's personality, so all must be done through the physical process of creation. Above we referred to the Christian life as a relevant theological category; here the doctrine of creation must be considered. Properly speaking, only God creates. He spoke and the world was made immediately without means external to himself. In the same way he spoke and life began. To man, on the other hand, was given authority to name, care for, and arrange the world of things. It is in this sphere that his creativity must be exercised. He does not create in the sense of the original creation, since he must always begin with the physical world. Between man tilling and tending the earth and man painting and forming there may be a differnet in quality but there is none of function. It is all part of a single office of man: dominion. This office is not, however, unrelated to the original creation. Though different kind and starting point, Adam's task of naming the animals continued in an important sense the creation God had begun. He confirmed and determined its order. All of man's creativity is precisely of this sort: arranging, ordering and naming the original creation. That which is novel is always relative to the material conditions in which art must be located. Absolute novelty belongs to God alone.
I have created you, beloved vermin, in my thrice sacred resemblance, and you have responded by betraying me. Thus I have punished myself. It was not enough that you resembled me. I, the Impassible, felt a great desire to make myself like you, so that you would become my equals. Therefore I have made myself vermin in your image.
But there is no doubt that the modern artist, feeling himself no longer in any vital contact with society, performing no necessary or positive function in the life of the community, retreats upon himself and gives expression to his own states of subjectivity, limiting himself to this expression, and not caring wheter expression is also communication.

Wow, I had an unforgettable saturday... So I'm writing about it in here so I won't forget it. :P
Ok, Isabel went to work at 9 on saturday, she works at the uni and uni had Open Day. When I woke up in the time of the sane people (later than her), I went shopping to get stuff I needed - normal. I came home and started working on my course work - we had assesment on Monday so I needed to sort out my work into folders and stuff. I was doing that when Isabel called around 3. "Where are you?" "Home, why?" "I was just wondering, would you mind coming over here to help me carry stuff home." "Ok, I'll come." I went to the city for the second time that day, and to the uni-building she works in. The stuff that needed to be carried home was food. There hadn't been as much people coming over as was expected so there was loads of excess food. We brought home a box full of finger foods, three trays of sandwiches (of which we gave one tray to the homeless guy in the underway) a plastic bag full of different sorts of crisps and a 2-litre cartong of orange juice. So when we got home, I returned to my work and Isabel started to sort out the food, what goes into the freezer, what needs to be eaten today, and then she sorted the crisps. Around 6 I noticed that I need to get stuff printed, so for the third time that day I went out to the uni-building with printer access. (It is about half an hour walk from my house to town and I did it on saturday 6 times, 3 times there, 3 times back). I printed what I needed, and as I was about to leave, I met my friend Rajat. He came to my house with me. I pestered Isabel to stop using the net and play Uno with us. She did and we played, but then she wanted to use the net again. I was inclined that she shouldn't, so she took a more sly approach. She taught us a new game: sticks. It is simple. You drop this bunch of sticks of the floor on a pile and then you have to remove them one at a time without moving any other stick than the one you are trying to take. Isabel played with us two games and then she said she just wants to watch. And we didn't mind, we were too taken in by the game. She got to go to the net (because me and Rajat we paying attention to the game only). The music was playing on the laptop, we had loads of food and the game so... we played all night. Isabel went to bed around 2 but our response to that was only to put the music down a little. I doubt that she got any sleep, really. We played and talked about everything. Amazing. That if something is bonding for you... He went home at 10.30 on sunday morning because I wanted to go to church (after having not slept all day? Is that wise? but I wasn't sleepy really). After church I lied down on my bed and got up around 4 pm. Well, I got up around 2 pm when the girl downstairs came asking if we could do something with our heater; it was being noisy to her. She is a confusing individual, really. But I guess she heard the heater better that day because the heater had been off during the night (it just refused to go on) and then it was on again... Or maybe she was being bitchy, she must have heard us that night, talking and laughing, and she knew that I was sleeping during the day so she wanted to bother me... who knows. Anyway, I went back to sleep after she was satisfied with her heater problem. Around 5 I picked up my work again to sort it all out for monday and I got it done before 9 pm. Then I went to bed and slept solid til 9 am when Isabel went to work again.

-Love at first sight?: I'd want to believe, but wouldn't that be rather lust than love. Ah, I suppose there is a situation that would be "love at first sight", but it hasn't happened to me, I've learned to love the one I love in a romantical sense.
-Believe it's possible to remain faithful forever? Deffinately. There is no way you would love someone and then hurt them by being unfaithful. It isn't love if you cheat.
-Believe there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?: Yes. I have seen it with my own two eyes, no bullshit.
-Do you wish on stars?: What?? You mean like ah, a wishing star, yes, and all the other stuff too when you are granted a wish (if you find an unbent note and you get to bend it first you get a wish, if you find your eyelash on your cheek you get to wish) so yes, I do that everytime.
-Did you get frightened or uncomfortable seeing that as a section title?: (this thingie was in a list of thingies and this section title was beliefs) Why would I be? I'm strong with my beliefs.
-Do you remember your first love?: I'm not sure. i'm not sure wether Gautam is my first love or was Sakari... but I'm dating the person who I said "I love you" to first time, and since that other guy is dead and I never did anything about my feelings for him for them to grow to be real love, then yes, Gautam is granted the title of my first real love and well, then obviously I do remember him.
-Still love him?: Duh. Of course.
-Do you consider love a mistake: Deffinately not! How could it be!
-What do you find romantic?: Being a little insane for love... ^_^
-Turn-on?: Mmmmm.... eh? I drifted in my dreams here. ^_^;; Well, small blunders, admitting that he is a human being, and those little mistakes that humans have.
-Turn-off?: Constantly trying to keep the cool, trying to be the bleedin' Calvin Klein-perfect man... -.-
-Do you base your judgement on looks alone: I don't think anyone in the world does that...
-If someone you had no interest in dating, expressed interest in dating you, how would you feel?: I'd think to myself "Again? Why can't they go have their crushes on someone else" and then I'd start avoiding that person because I would feel so uncomfortable around him and end up hating him because he's making my life difficult by making me have to avoid him.
-Do you prefer knowing someone before dating him or going on a date: Hmm, knowing like from school/work/ho
-Have you ever wished it was more "socially acceptable" for a girl to ask a guy out?: It is socially acceptable. This is a bullshit question and sides this "section" isn't about belief, but about dating! What a load of crap and a waste of time, which I will waste because I'm bored.
-Have you ever been romantically attracted to someone physically unattractive?: No. I haven't been attracted to someone I found unattractive. I don't fall for my friends, and if someone is being my friend and I get to know them as friends I'd never be romatically attracted to them.
-Do you think the opposite sex finds you good looking?: Yes, I do. They have indicated it many times and I hate it when they do that, I don't want to hear it.
-What is best about the opposite sex?: Another bullshit question... -.-
-What is the worst thing about the opposite sex?: Guy-stuff... -.-
-What's the last present someone gave you?: A poster and a little silvery anchor I wear in my earring.
-Are you in love?: Yes.
-Do you consider your significant other hot?: Sexy? Yes. And also hot as in spicy, interestingly enough...
-What would you do if you were walking down the street and saw some hot guy standing on the sidewalk?: Give a glance and think "he's pretty" and then walk on.

British pole dancer Donna Cleeve has been forced to quit her job because she’s allergic to the metal pole. The 20-year-old from Portsmouth developed a red rash after each show before she realised nickel used in the poles was to blame. “It’s hard to look sexy when your legs and body are inflamed. I tried to ignore it, but in the end it wasn’t worth the pain,” she told London’s Sun. She’s now given up her dancing and taken a job in sales.
you just can't make this stuff up. XD
