Wha, a lot of picture diary entries now. But I had to point out the horrid discrimination going on in ET: they have a separate wiki for gay patrollers!

<img:stuff/558Pokebanner2.jpg>
(I did make this! :D)

Pikachu is there only to freak out people who don't play pokemon at all :P (And because he was in my team-thing when I was screen-shotting)

I just had the best pokemon battle ever. LASS vs. IIPPO She had 5 level 19 pokemon, all different, fairly normal types. My raticate's hyper fang one hit ok'd them all, one after another. XD
(Well, ok, that isn't the best battle ever, it's better when there's a hugenormous struggle.)

In the top-lists in imdb, the bottom rated things... In each genre, there is a movie with the word "ninja" in the list of the worst movies of that genre... Believe it now, once and for all: pirates own ninjas!

I just ate 6 slices of toast with ham and cheese. There's just one left in the bag. o.O

I am fucking tired of hearing these treehuggers whining about the hunters killing that bear in Germany *refuses to call it Bruno* They've wrote feffing elegies and internet sites about shooting it with tranquliser darts and teddy bears and what else, and I am: Fed. Up. Up to here. A bear is not cute or cuddly, it's big, fat, smelly and fucking dangerous. It can manage itself, it's a natural thing, and it will not think twice before killing your kid, pet, loved one or yourself. So shut the fuck up about that bear!
And the Finnish zoo has just got bear cubs that will be killed since no zoo wants them and there's no space... We'll send them over to the treehuggers, let them give a nice big bear hug (aka mauling) to shut them all up nice and tidy.
(Treehugger = viherpiipertäjä in Finnish :D *hugs that word*)

What else was there... Was it Latvia that banned smoking in public places, yeah think so. *High fives with Latvia* Way to go!

There's two exhibitions near here that seem interesting, one's a collab with some Russian and Finnish artists, another's a photoxibit of Marilyn Monroe's "the last sitting". Wantsa go...

Haven't heard of next year's Tall ships' race yet, but I haven't forgotten. And I will not attend my graduation if it overlaps the race, I'm not missing it out! All the awesome, massive ships coming near me and I'll be not-near me? Like hell I'll miss it. I was looking at my Schtandart Replica photos earlier and I'm just too hyped about it... *runs out of breath*

I have forgotten which one was my favourite of the Seven Brothers. I wrote an essay couple years ago titled "my favourite brother-". It was one of the twins, can't remember which pair even (two pairs of twins in Seven Brothers). Shy nature-liking one, climbed up a fir tree at one point to think of stuff if I remember correct. :( I need to re-read that book. And if 30 books was a list for Finnish people, I would know what to enter in the list, so many more... :( This I was reminded of because there's a play of the Seven Brothers.

Can you tell that I love reading the paper again ;)

Comment in a wiki:
XD By the way- what the fuck is a bollock?

That, my dear Yankeedoodle, must be one of life's many mysteries, a fundamental thing that separates the Americans from the British.
*has completed the honorary-brit-exercise for today* :P

I get an email newsletter called Grapevine. And it has notified me that it is juhannus soon (midsummer feast or something to that effect). Is it really this saturday? When I'm going home? Am I infact going to be home on juhannusday? New potatoes, silli and butter? Barbecue?
*ish almost in tears with the idea, it's too awesome to be true*
Although it will very likelyly mean that shops along the drive home will not be open, so note to self: pee before getting to the car.

Last night I was planning a new writing for Writersco. Then I also thought up something to do in the computer, related to photographs. I can't remember what that was. I tried to write it on my hand but in the dark I didn't see if I managed and in the morning there was nothing written on my hand.

Is crooner the word to describe singers like Sinarta and Dean Martin etc?

I like Kevin Spacey as a singer. I think I want to see that film, Beyond the sea, if that is indeed a film.

How amusing, all the Krill-sites work except WritersCo. Which Krill-site am I most involved with? Yep, WritersCo. :)
I tell you, the world is out to get me. And it seems to be personal. >_>

A strange memory just occured to me all of the sudden, just like that.
We were in contextual studies seminar, all gathered round a table, students and a tutor, discussing Orlan. Orlan is an artist who has planned and undergone several plastic surgeries (made herself a second mouth, horns and other fascinating changes). The surgeries are filmed, and show that she is conscious all the time. She even draws with her own blood on her own skin during the surgery.
Anyway, as obvious, we were discussing plastic surgery. This was fairly early during the first year of my course. A mature student was telling how she could not ever undergo such a surgery that would change her appearance so drastically, overnight (her body and especially hands had changed during her life).
I was the only one there who had ever undergone a surgery that changed appearance 'overnight'. But I did not comment on the matter. I'm not sure why, it would have been very interesting for them to hear about it. But I just didn't speak up.
On other occasions in similar seminars, when I've been the odd one out I have spoken out, sometimes even silencing others to consider how many different viewpoints there are, but most of those times it has been a cultural difference: sentences starting with "In Finland.."
So when the difference came from my own choice (the surgery was my choice, I had the option to not have it but I did and i'm glad I did), I didn't want to be the odd one out. When it was something that had just happened due to circumstances, I was glad to share.

What. The. Fuck?

I did a search in my uni library online catalogue yesterday for "Diderot." I found a book by Denis Diderot called "Rameau's nephew; D'Alembert's dream" or something to that effect, to be found under the shelf code 843 DID.
Today I came and searched the shelf. No such book. I searched the online catalogue too. No such book.
The book I wanted, disappeared completely from the uni library records.

"Makeup and perfume promote the myth that women are ugly and smell bad."

People do smell bad, that's life. Men also wear perfume (although some try to be all manly and call it after-shave).
It's polite to try to smell a little nicer, especially if going to a public place where someone might have to be very close to you (shopping, cinema, bus, library, school, work...)

Nutella is delicious.
(This phrase was brought to you by the Gutterbrains, inc.)

Packing done around 54 percent.
Book shelf done
Wardrobe mostly done (only what is in use and what will go to Finland are still left)
Some of kitchen (crockery) done.
Artstuff and under bed done.
Still need:
Kitchen (pots, pans, rest of crockery and foodstuff)
Bed >.<
Desk.
Bathroom? (Is there anything even there? Shampoo and soap?)

Also desperately need to borrow a washing machine to wash sheets before going.
Also have to remember to return library books at some point.

If [iippo] was Greek:
+ She wouldn't have such a cool Middle name.
+ She actually wouldn't have a middle name at all.
+ She would say "papia" instead of "ankka" (actually she does so already :P)
+ She would be proud that her roommate listens to Greek songs.
+ She would actually know what those weird songs say.
+ She would still be in the same GMT time zone...
+ She would love the same national country colours; blue and white.
+ She probably wouldn't be blond.
+ She would either be considered useless or she wouldn't be able to find a proper job if she studied Arts. (-.- Backward-minded Greeks)
+ She wouldn't be able to go visit [windowframe].
+ But she would be able to go visit [thuthuca]! (whee :P)
+ She wouldn't have such a great view from her window.
+ She would still live the same slacking-off-to-the-point- of-boredom student life! =D

From Scorpio Soul Mates:
Scorpio - Leo

Don't let your love of honesty hurt your partner's rather large ego. Leo's playful charm intensifies the passion between the two.

I hate it when they are that accurate. >.<;
