Well I just found out that I need to find another job. Well I've kinda known for a while that this is not the job for me. But it has benefits and I was hoping to be here long enough to get a company cell phone. BUT they said they didnt have what I need to grow as a graphic designer (which is what I just got my BA in). So the next few months are gonna suck! Cause I'm gonna be looking for a new job and interviewing and such all while working and scrimping and saving for everything else. *sigh*

GAH!!! I'm so frustrated and pissed off...and I just want to cry.

*sigh* My friends had invited us on a camping trip for this weekend. They had reserved two double bed cabins. I said I wanted one of the cabins but we'd need to split it with another couple cause of the cost...roughly $42 a night. I told my boyfriend that I'd pay for his share as part of his b-day present. Well it looks like no one want to share the cabin with us...so I'd ahve to pay for EVERYTHING. That's 2 nights plus the reservation fee. A total of about $104 for the weekend. Plus we have to bring our own food. I asked my friend who arranged this, "is there no one who is willing to share the cabin/cost with us?" Apparently not. I cant afford $104...so either we can only stay one night...or my boyfriend will have to pay half or I will have to borrow money. This "fun" weekend is turning out to be more of a hassle than it's supposed to. *screams*

I hate being stressed...it's not good for the health!

Hey everybody! I just got back from my Floriday vaca. We had a blast! Well there were some problems the first couple days but the rest of the trip was great! We stayed at Stacy's grandparents house that they left to them. Its a pretty nice house with a pool in the back. There was no cable...just local channels and a couple Spanish ones, so we watched a lot of movies and played a few games. Anyways...

We left around 6:00 am (Central time) on Tuesday. Stacy and I were in the rental car and her brother, Adam, was in their dad's car. It was a 600+ mile trip so we wanted to leave early. Anyways, we were having some problems with the rental car. First off the car smelled of smoke! We requested a nonsmoking car but apparently the Madison location doesnt have any rules about that. So we had to endure that the whole way down. Plus I'm sure just about everyone knew about the week long police thing. Well because of that we could see just how fast were were going via those machines they put on the side of the road. Well the spedometer in the rental car was off by about 6 mph...so it was really difficult to clock out speed. On top of that the alignment was all sorts of screwed up...and it was causing the front passanger tire to lean to compensate...therefore causeing outer wear. Well Stacy called the guys back in Madison and told the manager there about our crappy car and to see if we could get a new one. He said no, all we could do was to take it to a tire place down in FL and get it fixed and Enterprise would pay for it...but it was ON OUR VACATION TIME! Well we did that on Wednesday before we went to Busch Gardens...and had to leave early so we could pick it up before the tire place closed. They told us that all for tires were bald and in danger of blowin out. Well this sent Stacy off the deep end. She called up the district manager on Thursday and told him all the problems we were having with the car and with the manager in Madison. Well this was a good move...cause he told us that we didnt have to pay a dime! NOTHING for anything...the car the insurance...nothing! Plus we got a new car for free! We were upgraded from a Susuki Ferenza to a Pontiac Grand Pre (spelling?) It was a nice car! OMG and so roomy! LOL  Anyways...once we got the new car, everything else was gravy! 

That first night we went to Chili's for dinner and got smashed! None of us were in the greatest mood. (This was of course before BC or the new car).

Now to the fun stuff. Well like I said, we went to Busch Gardens on Wednesday. That was fun! We rode just about every ride including Shekra with its 200ft, 90 degree drop! There was one ride that was a bummer cause the best part was broken down. Stacy and I had already experienced it last year, but Adam hasnt had a chance...and he didnt this time. That kinda sucked. But we got to ride my favorite ride! The river rapids one where you go under a waterfall and get splashed and stuff. We go SOAKED! It was great. LOL We were gonna go get some free beer but we ran out of time...we had to go back and get the stupid car. Then we went to an authentic New York style pizza place (the owners moved down to FL from NY). Awesome pizza there!

Then on Thursday, Adam left really early (4:00am Eastern). Stacy and I just relaxed that day...swam a bit in the pool and went grocery shopping for the rest of our time there.

On Friday we relaxed a bit in the am then we went to Tarpon Springs beach. When we got there it was packed so Stacy wanted to go to Clearwater beach. I was like fine whatever. So we spent another 30 min in the car going to Clearwater and then there was no parking! So we ended up going back to Tarpon Springs.  It was fine...we did a lil sun bathing and swam a bit. Then we headed back to the house and washed up before going to the local mall. It was ok...not nearly as nice as the mall here but ah well. Then we went to Target and got a few things.

On Saturday we got up early and headed down to Clearwater. Got there around 8:30 am and the parking lot was about 1/2 full! Now that was a beach! White sands and huge! The water was really nice too. The waves were breaking a bit which was cool. I have pics that I'll put up later. I collected some nice seashells too! The only drawback was we didnt bring any food...and Stacy got hungry so we had to leave. But we stayed there about an 1 1/2. After we got home and washed all the sand off of us, we did a lil sunbathing by the pool then took a dip. Then we had to start getting the house ready for us to leave. We also had to get dinner ready early cause it took a while to make. Then after we ate, we played our last of 6 games of Life and watched one of the many movies we brought. LOL Then took out showers and finished shutting stuff off.

Sunday morning was difficult. We got up around 2:45 am. Blah! The we had to make sure everything was turned off or unplugged or emptied...and whatnot. Once the house was secured, we headed over to one of the many Seven 11's that are in FL and dumped all our trash (shhhh) and got Slurppies for the road. The first trek of the ride home was the worst. US 19 SUCKS! it's a whole lot of nothing for about 150 miles. But once the sun came up we were fine.

We got home around 1:00 our time which was pretty good! About 2 hours shorter than the drive down. Plus we were in a much better car!
