Pandora

Looking for modern day, light hearted, just a lil' bit trashy, good ol' fashioned fiction? You found it! Pandora , the newest in Jilly Cooper's outrageous line of quasi-romance, is definitely not for the squeamish.
Following the story of a (fictional) Raphael painting of Pandora and the lives of its owners over 50 years we have pride, wrath, envy, sloth, greed, gluttony and oh so wonderfully… lust, all the makings of a great read! The painting, stolen from the Jews during the war, passes through several hands before landing in those of Raymond Belvedon, the head of our Art Industry family. After years watching over this family –and their antics- the last descendant of its Jewish owners shows up… in the tow of a long lost Belvedon daughter. With plenty of partner swapping, bitchiness and finally, betrayal, this book doesn't disappoint those long term Cooper fans. Don't get me wrong, this book isn't a masterpiece of literary genius, this is pure fun!
