*sigh*
I've been trying to get something done all day and failed. I started closing a contest and read some other stuff on Elftown, but that's about everything.
What I was planning to do is to make it possible to set up a homepage on Elftown. I think it would be useful for a few Elftowners and give some good advertising back to Elftown. Eventually it will be possible to have your own domain, but I haven't decided on how yet.

Well... A Swedish student did a "master-piece" as a part of a graduation exam. She pretended to try to take her own life, be psychotic, hit and tried to bite the staff that took care of her and was generally very aggressive. Her institution (Not the one she was targeting with her "art", but the one she studies in) was fully informed about it too. The institution is called Konstfack (pronounced like Const-Fuck) and apparently stealing psychiatry resources from people who really need them is just as OK as stealing normal tax-payers' money to do crap.
She's charged with false alarm, assault, assault attempt, harassment, assaulting official, violent resist and offensive behavior.

I hope she isn't registered on Elftown, because I don't want her to upload any of her "art" here as I suspect the "art" to be something like messaging 1000 people "Haha, your art sucks! You're ugly!".

Roland Emmerich will be making a movie of Asimov's Foundation stories. It can't we worse than the really really horrible, bad, boring, stupid and utter crap that 10,000_BC_(film) was.
Roland Emmerich is known for Stargate, Universal Soldier, Godzilla, The Day After Tomorrow and so on.
Got a new old camera now. It seems to be working OK, but I have some strange problems getting my computer to accept it though.

Some bandits are trying to steal your freedom, your money and they do it in a quite a stupid way that hurts everyone. The idea is to give the richest and dead artist more money and all active artists less access to materials to build on. So basically they steal your right to free material and then they make it harder for the ones who create material.
Make sure that MEPs who vote for this don't get any votes in the election between 4 and 7 June 2009!

I've implemented keyword ads on exported wiki-pages (you'll only see them on the exported version of wiki-pages). I have no idea how annoying or helpful it will be, and it will take about 24 hours before it starts to work.

Stargate
Seems like they "leaked" the next episode of Stargate Atlantis. I just watched Stargate.Atlan
It's a really good episode even if you spend most of it thinking "WTF?!?" and don't get anything. I'm quite sure they leaked this to get the buzz, so here it is, and thank you for the leak!

So therefore I have to use an invisible iframe and then use a normal file-upload to that. Eventually the upload is done, and then in the invisible iframe some javascript is returned and that javascript-cod
Then it's of course not that simple. The form is created by a Pike-generated javascript-cod
Wisdoms of life
It seems like the more successful something is, the more complains about it there are. Just a few example of the things people complain the most about in different sectors: MySQL and Oracle (Database engines with all sort of problems), Dell, the iPhone (Locked down to a brick and not open), Facebook's new design (About as much as Elftown's new update in complains and way more in privacy stuff constantly), Window's at its peak, and so on.
I mean: Who is complaining about Blue-Ray disks, George W Bush, Vista, PostgreSQL, MySpace or the violence in the old fairy-tales nowadays? OK, people do complain about Vista a lot but it's also giving Microsoft a great revenue despite being worse than XP, so maybe it's a success.
The conclusion is that I should from now on measure my success in how many complains I get!
